There's Nothing very special about these cookies , they grab your already cooked cookies upon ordering from the shelf and place them in the oven so now you have warm cookies. Let's talk flavor: Too much dough, and somewhere along the lines when they get placed in the oven they become even doughier. I wasn't impressed 6 cookies for $10 Overpriced for low quality cookies. Service sucks here. The chicks working here are unfriendly and unhelpful. They offer no opinion on cookie options. No hello how are you or anything. I felt like I walked into a Hot Topic rather than a cookie place. The cookies suck they are hard and burnt. Crumbl cookie puts this places to shame. All employees are happy, out going, and give a great rundown on each cookie favors and package options. Crumbl cookies are way better too, soft, big, and warm. If you have access to and oven and you can bake or even have the ability to buy cookie dough from the store JUST GO AHEAD AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BAKE YOURSELF. The cookies aren't worth $1.50 each basically. They are tiny and the taste is fine but I can bake better and the ice cream wasn't great. Plenty of other places in Manhattan with better ice cream. Pretty disappointed here. The Insomnia Cookies in KC (Westport) is so much better. The cookies we wanted were out. So then we ended up with second and third choices. Were the cookies we did get good? Yes, but not what I wanted. The guy working was less than enthusiastic and not real helpful. The counter and tables were dirty. I won't be back to this one. I'll stick with the one in KC. Kudos to a place that makes money off college kids who are drink or sleep deprived. It's a fun concept though poorly executed. We happened upon Insomnia Cookies over the weekend on a random trip to Manhattan. First impression: the person working the counter could have cared less about her job and us. Nonetheless, we ordered six cookies. For $9, we were expecting better cookies. WRONG! They were fine cookies but not worth the price. If you're drunk though, I'm sure they taste great. You can get better ones from the grocery store though. Unfortunately, on the way out, we saw the multiple mouse traps in the corners by the bathrooms. These all seemed to have a weird aftertaste. And for around $20 for a dozen I was certainly expecting a lot better. They do deliver though, so theres that I guess. But for the price, you could do better paying an uber to take you to hyvee. And you'd come home with better cookies. read more

I've tried to order from here three different times and each time they have messed something up. First time they brought the wrong order, which I understand can happen. But the second time they could find my apartment and the delivery driver somehow blamed that on me. Third time same issue with the apartment (it's off of a main road super easy to find.) plus they forgot a 3$ cookie. The other cookies in the box are slightly burnt and dry. Heard about this place from friend. I had no idea they even opened here. Decided to give them a try last night. My husband and I ordered online and it was super simple. The location is open late 11AM-3AM. You can get warm cookies, ice cream cookie sandwiches, milk, etc. You also have the option to have it delivered to your door! I believe I saw that there is a minimum purchase requirement for delivery which was around $8. Delivery was not available for the part of Manhattan I live in so, we opted for pick up. You can pay online, or choose cash upon pick up and pay when you get there. My husband choose an oatmeal raisin cookie and a white chocolate macadamia nut. I choose to make an ice cream cookie sandwich with two snickerdoodles & rocky road ice cream. When you choose pick up the ice cream cookie does not come assembled, so I would suggest walking in to order that and bypass ordering that online. When we picked up the cookies were warm as promised. They were really good! Plenty of chocolate and nuts in my husbands cookie. Also, the raisin in the oatmeal cookies was not overwhelming, which sometimes it can be. There was plenty of ice cream with my order, and I was overall impressed with my cookie sandwich. We will be coming back! excited to have something new and different come to Manhattan. read more

This was my second time ordering Insomnia Cookies for delivery. The first time I got them they were falling apart because they were so soft, but they were still very warm, so I chalked it up to that. This time, the cookies weren't warm at all, yet I couldn't pick one up without it crumbling due to how undercooked it was. ALL of my cookies were still doughy and completely uncooked in the middle. I understand some people like cookie dough, but I don't, and if I wanted cookie dough, I would buy cookie dough, not cookies. My order was also incorrect and one of my cookies was wrong. I got a chocolate chunk instead of one of the other cookies I ordered, so that's not too bad of a replacement, but it's still not what I ordered. When I called customer service, I got directed to a call center in New York. They told me I couldn't have a refund because I had paid in cash, which apparently is posted on the website, but I've yet to find it (not for a lack of trying). The worst part is that I have no idea if the store manager was relayed the message that they had an extremely unsatisfied customer tonight. Probably not ordering these cookies again. read more
