    Double Chocolate Mint

I've heard a lot about these cookies. I'm a crumbl fan personally and insomnia doesn't quite hold up to that. These felt a little old, not really gooey, but yes tasty. Could they have been sold at a Trader Joe's in a plastic container? Yes, that's what the quality felt like. But it was fast and it was really sweet and tasty. Just missing the gooeyness and the softness.

I navigated my way here. It's right around the corner from the NYPD so expect to see some police activity here. :) There was no line. However it took a bit to get served. Lots of options. I just wanted a traditional chocolate chip and oh boy $over $3 for 1 cookie but they pulled it out of a drawer oven under the counter and it was ooey gooey good. Almost too sweet. Glad I only had 1! :)

Great cookies. I ordered 4 pack deluxe. Employees are really awesome. Thank you dry much. Cookies are phenomenal.

Nicely boxed up and ready to go, for a stroll through Times Square and on to the Port Authority Terminal.

I'm walking down the street and I see and smell cookies. I look up and see that the place is named Insomnia Cookies. I figured that it might be part of that bigger chain, especially with the graphics, fonts, and such. I went inside, asked if they were part of the Insomnia Cookies I knew, got an affirmative answer, and decided to have "dessert" here after having some pizza nearby. The cookies were warm, moist, and tasty. After learning I really like Keebler cookies, I decided that soft and moist cookies are the way to go. I settled on a double chocolate cookie and an oatmeal raisin cookie. The young lady helping me was patient and polite. The prices were fair, even with the bump up for NYC compared to other locales where I've had Insomnia Cookies. They even have gelato for those who might want that. If I'm going to have gelato, I want it to come from a bona fide Italian gelateria. But, given how tasty - and messy - the cookies were, I'm glad I stopped in. On my first visit to the nearby pizza shop, I headed north along 9th and wound up eating my slices near Columbus Circle. After my second visit to that same pizza shop, I headed south to walk through Times Square and then catch transit to northern New Jersey from the big Port Authority Terminal. Hence, I was able to buy Insomnia's tasty cookies and take them along for the trek toward 42nd and 8th in a small "to go" box. For the longest time when I was younger and didn't know any better, I used to call it the "Port of Authority." As I walked up to and through the Port Authority Terminal, I kept thinking how stupid that must have sounded.

I love insomnia cookies with a passion. Truly one of the great loves of my life. BUT when I went to this location I was very disappointed. The cookies were not their normal soft and gooey consistency. They were over baked and too crunchy. Tragic. The flavor was still there though. The service was quick, but I would've waited longer if we could've had some fresher cookies. Also disappointing because I went with someone who had never been before and now I seem like a fool. I fear he will never truly trust my taste again...

Kenneth was amazing!! We came in and he offered such a great energy and positive light for our friends birthday!! Thank you so much for being so helpful in our cookie choices as we were so indecisive!

In a nutshell: What was once an innovative bakery with late night delivery it is now a substandard brand that you can easily skip if you live in NYC and craving sweets because is not worth your money. GOOD What is this good for? If you got the munchies or leaving a bar craving for sweets and you happen to be walking distance to one of the location is more convenient than ordering something and yet... thats is not going to save you (At least this location) from rude customer service. The box they come in will typically keep the cookies warm even in a chilly windy night and that's something! BAD I have both purchased in the store and have it delivered (from the same location) but I will refer to what I ordered last week... An ice cream sandwich that just discovered I have to put myself together with melted ice cream... are you fkidding me?! Not only am I located less than 10 mins door to door, they delivered it late and find this mess didn't make me happy. Specially because if is the same guy that have served me before who should not be working with clients period, like you give the most antisocial a position to deal with clients?!!! The same lack of attention was not unexpected. WORST The cookies were standard OK, they don't have a "brand flavor" anything you offer taste pretty much your standard cookies you can easily buy at supermarkets like TJ, same amount of sugar and all. What you are getting are simply warmed up goods delivered to your apartment... I'm pretty sure you can reheat any baked good you can buy from anywhere else and unless you live in the sticks there's always a bodega or deli open at 3 AM with easily scooped icecream options... You don't need this business, period.

We solved our late night post theater sweet tooth craving by making a visit. The smores cookie and Brookie did not disappoint. This place is small with just one table so we ordered and took the treats back to our hotel. There was virtually no wait. I love that this place is open late.

This is a busy location! I stopped in to order a cookie cake and was told to order online. The only issue was I wanted a vegan cake and that's not an option online! I was told to specify in the notes section that I wanted a vegan flavor. About a half hour later I get a call from the store to confirm my vegan choice and I had the cake about an hour after that. So quick, so easy, and great people working. And the cake was a hit!

I've never tried a Japanese cheesecake before and was extremely excited to be able to pick up some treats for my coworkers as well as my partner's birthday cake from Keki. Ordering is fairly straightforward and done with a simple machine outfront. Once your order is ready one of the staff members hands it to you through a window; there is no inside area accessible to customers but our food came quickly and we took it back to the office. The cheesecake was fantastic. I read a bit about the background of the shop online and how the owner really cares about using high-quality ingredients, specifically dairy. It was justas described, light and bouncy. I enjoyed how it was not overly sweet and found that it was all too easy to devour the entire cake over the course of two days. Despite it not having much weight to it, it traveled surprisingly well as I took it home on my three train commute! Similar to what others have said, the real highlight of the shop, in my opinion, are their cream puffs. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the outer layer was thin yet had a nice little crunch to it. We tried the classic milk, cookies & cream pistachio and ube flavors. Our favorite was the pistachio by far, which had such a unique yet decadent flavor and our second favorite was the milk cream puff. There's not much else I can say other than you really have to go here and try the desserts yourself. If you're a fan of Japanese desserts that are rich yet not too sweet, you'll be a fan of Keki.

There are lots of other tart places that do something sinilar and didn't really think these were that memorable. But read this keeping in mind I didn't try to cake items so that product may be better if all you're looking for is a light fluffy dessert that's not too sweet. Try something else here! Just did take out option here so not much to ambiance or service from my experience to speak on.

They made sure everything was set up and we had everything we needed. For a large group reservation, they have a $60 minimum and you order everything ahead of time. And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.
