The staff was very patient with me. It was my first time visiting and, Jaime, helped walk me through the menu and got me to buy a 12 pack of what they call classic cookies as well as a 6 pack of their deluxe cookies. Placed a cookie order for my sons birthday so he could bring cookies to class I placed it online and even called to confirm the order I got there and was handed to cookies I asked to make sure if they were wrapped separately as I paid extra for..she realized that she didn't wrap them so headed to the back to wrap them she apologized for the trouble, luckily it wasn't needed until the next day but she was very apologetic about it. After having dinner we decided to have cookies for sweets. We had tried Insomnia cookies before so we knew what to expect in terms of cookies and what our order would be. It is a pretty good store with different cookie options. From the options available we decided to have White Macadamia Cookie, Red Velvet Cookie, Cookiewich and White Vanilla Ice Cream. Cookies are wonderful, but the customer service is horrible. I ordered -and paid extra- on 12/22 for a delayed delivery on Chrismas Eve as a gift. I was shocked to see that the gift was on its way within an hour after ordering. I called the store, spoke with a very young lady who said she'd call the driver and stop the delivery and call me back. I then received a text that the cookies were delivered! This was unacceptable as it was too late to disturb them. And don't no one called me back as promised, I called again and this time spoke to Samantha who said the order was not in fact delivered, and it was in her system for a delivery on the 24th. Well that wasn't true either. The cookies were delivered at the wrong time and date and left outside all night as the family was asleep. No one has returned my call nor refunded the extra fee I paid for a later delivery. Don't order unless you don't mind dealing with dishonest employees who don't know how to use the phone or handle customer service issues that arise. I would have have let this go if anyone had bothered to call me back. But sobe they didn't, I'll not be ordering from them again. read more

Insomnia Cookies is a great solution when Subway is closed. What I am trying to say is, Insomnias' cookies taste just like Subway's cookies. I don't think there is anything wrong about that. I loooooooove Subway's cookies. There was a Subway in the UCF gym, I went to the UCF gym solely to purchase chocolate chip cookies from Subway. I think I ran (read: trotted while trying to understand what was happening on whatever episode of RH that was being played on the screen) on the treadmill once before ordering my 2 chocolate chip cookies. There are some ~cool~ flavas like s'mores, confetti, and salted caramel. They all taste the same though.. because they all taste like a Subway cookie. The point of this place is definitely late night. It's in the name, it's in the branding, it's in the whole story. So maybe it's a 5 star situation at midnight? Overall the store was clean, and the menu was easy to follow. The team member was more than friendly. And even though he tried to tell us the Deluxe Cookies would be the size of his face, to justify that 4 cookies cost $12, (Spoiler alert: Deluxe Cookies are the size of my hand. Tonight I visited Insomnia Cookies at their newest location in SOHO/ South Tampa. (533 S Howard Ave) When I walked in not only was I warmly greeted by the sweet girl behind the counter, I got a sweet welcome by the scent of warm cookies! Oh my heaven on earth, was it divine! I left with an armful of avast sampling of all their treats! I got a football cake (perfect for Super Bowl weekend here in Tampa!), 2 brownies, 2 deluxe cookies, 2 regular cookies, 6 minis with a dip of my choice (buttercream, baby!) and a pint of mint chocolate chip ice cream! This is the perfect solution to you late night sweet cravings since they're open until 1am! You can even grab a pint of ice cold milk to wash your cookies down with! Their official grand opening is this weekend, and I highly recommend stopping in and grabbing some sweets for this exciting weekend! Really yummy cookie shop in Soho. This is a smart idea that I hope works. Insomnia Cookies is located close to the bars of Howard, and they are open until 1am on most nights. You can buy cookies, milk, ice cream and frosting for a sweet treat in between beers. It reminds me of Diddy Riese in Westwood, where I'd go for a cookie ice cream sandwich after watching a movie or going to a dance class on UCLA campus way long ago, although the prices are higher at Insomnia! I've had their oatmeal raisin cookie and their double chocolate mint cookie. Both were soft with the right amount of sweetness and flavor. My husband loved their basic chocolate chip cookie and said that it's one of the best cookies in Tampa. My kids loved their red velvet cookie and M&M cookie. Cookies start at $2, although vegan and specialty cookies are more. If you buy a box of cookies, the cookies are discounted a bit. If you live nearby, they deliver. I live just outside of their delivery area, but they do curbside pickup, and that was pretty easy (and important, given how busy the minimall where they are located tends to be!). read more

We are two different ice cream cookie sandwiches: a regular and a deluxe, which are a small and a larger size, respectively. Here were our thoughts... Taste-wise, the cookies AND the ice cream were absolutely delicious. This place sells itself as a cookie shop and it lives up to that. Triple chunk chocolate chip and the peanut butter cup cookies are phenomenal. However, the ice cream sandwich simply did not function as a sandwich. Not the small one, not the large one. We just had to end up eating them with the spoon entirely. That was a shame. Due to how much emphasis they put on the sandwiches on their menu, we were really looking forward to that ice cream sandwich experience. And that's the only reason I'm dropping a star. But... go to this place and delight in the amazing cookies! You won't regret it. read more

This place is hit or miss. I've been to both locations and I've had the same experience. Most of the time when I go they're out of half of the cookies on the menu. Also I don't know if it's the long hours but the people that work there are never personable. The cookies are a good size and they do taste good but are a bit too sweet for my liking. The prices are OK I think they might be a little bit overpriced. I definitely like that they're open late. read more

I was craving something sweet and decided to check out insomnia cookies in Hyde Park. The stuff is really nice however the cookie themselves were disgusting. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and I got the chocolate mint ice cream. The chocolate chip cookie tasted as if it was frozen cookies and undercooked. The ice cream tasted bland and watery. This place should be banned from Uber Eats as the service is horrible. They provide you an estimated delivery time (which is usually 45-1 hour post order) and it's usually always over an hour late, so a total of 2 hour wait. Consistently! Uber app states you have to contact store, store states you have to contact Insomnia. It's a nightmare. After the fifth try of this happening, we give up on this place. read more

Some amazing cookies can be found here. They sell them individually and by the pack where you can choose the flavors you want. The cookie prices can get pricey the more you add, but they are all delicious. My personal favorites that I tried during my visit were the double chocolate chunk and the chocolate mint cookies. They also serve the cookies in the form of an ice cream sandwich or you can opt for a side of milk or ice cream with your cookie. My husband would give it 4.5 stars but I'm giving this place 5 stars! I will say this place is a little evil because I went in just four for cookies and left with 12 hahaha. I strongly suggest if you are on Instagram to follow their Instagram page as they often post deals. They're 12-pack is usually $21 but this weekend it was $15. I do plan to freeze some of these cookies to save for a treat for later. I came in right after they opened and the place smelled of fresh baked cookies which is what tempts you to buy more hahaha. As you can see in the pictures I just got a variety pack of the classic cookies. So far my husband and I tried the chocolate chunk, the M&M classic as well as the double chocolate chunk and all tastes really delicious. Unfortunately since I bought him a birthday cake as well we're going to save the cookies for another time. Overall the pricing is actually pretty good and I love that they often have deals for their cookies. I will definitely come back to this place and what's great is that they have gluten free and vegan options. My students highly recommended this place to meet and raved about it and I am glad I listened and stopped in. This place is a must-visit! read more

Yummmmmmm!!! Insomnia cookies are sooooooo good. Came in this location for a late night craving after hanging out at Luv Child. Masks were mandatory upon entering facility. Only one worker available (that I saw-poor guy) but luckily he wasn't too busy. Although these cookies are amazing I took a star off only because he had a limited selection available at the time. No chocolate chips were ready when I came in and I was not willing to wait for them to bake. However, I did munch on a sugar, white macadamia nut and oatmeal raisin which were all delicious. I will definitely return bc there are no cookies like Insomnia Cookies!!!!! read more

The staff were so kind and patient with my kids. It wasn't busy and they let them have as many samples as they wanted to ensure their satisfaction once they ordered their "pilot" (single scoop) of icecream. Mayday Ice Cream has fun and funky flavors like lavender tea, parent trap (Oreo cookies and peanut butter add ins) and more! The establishment was clean and well maintained. The staff went over and above, really making the experience special. They even offered to go containers and a foil bag to help keep the ice cream from melting when my kids felt full. Now that's above and beyond service imo. Please stop by and give this establishment some love. Because they are definitely doing it right.

Once inside, the atmosphere is just as impressive, and thankfully the food, drinks, and service live up to the hype. My dad and I started with the Gator Tail appetizer. Neither of us had ever tried alligator before, so we were really curious to see what it was like. Turns out, we loved it! It tastes surprisingly similar to chicken and was a fun way to try something new. For our mains, my dad ordered their famous Meatloaf, and after trying a bite, we completely understand why it's one of their signature dishes. It was excellent. I went with Barry's Tomahawk Pork Chop, and it was outstanding. The pork was cooked perfectly; juicy, tender, and not dry whatsoever. The real star, though, was the guava demi-glace, which added such a unique and delicious flavour to the dish. The beer selection was great too. I especially enjoyed the Wedding Beer Berry Lager, which was refreshing and packed with flavour. We also saved room for dessert. We tried the Candied Maple Bacon Ice Cream and the Bourbon Butter Cake. The ice cream wasn't really my favourite; I thought the cornflakes were a bit of a strange addition, but my dad enjoyed it. The Bourbon Butter Cake, on the other hand, was delicious and a great way to finish off the meal. Between the beautiful setting, excellent food, great drinks, and friendly service, it's easy to see why Ulele is such a popular Tampa destination. Our very friendly and knowledgeable server let us order off of the happy hour menu, so my friends and I split a variety of items. First - bread with the 3 dips - you absolutely must get this. Second - fried zucchini balls. While I did like them, I wish they were smaller so the inside was a little more cooked. Third - Creamy Tomato Vodka Pasta - yummy with a bit of kick! This was my favorite food item. Fourth - Queen Stella Margherita pizza. Surprisingly, this was my least favorite item. We got it thin-crust, and while it looked good, it was served completely cold, and the flavor can only be described as cardboard-like. I would definitely try another pizza here, but not this one. My friends also split an order of meatballs, which they loved. While they had wine for dessert, I had a piece of limoncello cake for dessert. It was fantastically lemony and moist, which I loved. Their parking lot is valet only, but fortunately you only have to pay the $6 fee Fri-Sun, so we just had to tip the very friendly valet.

We order it with siracha & soy sauce instead of the sauce it comes with- simply just a personal preference. I usually get the Spicy Tuna Avocado salad but they don't always have it. (which I'm ok with because they make sure the tuna is fresh) I have gotten the shrimp and mushroom rice platter before and it is very tasty as well. My husband loves their Bahn Mi sandwiches- he tries a different one every time and always is very satisfied! If you are in downtown Tampa, I would suggest you definitely check out Fusion Bowl. Many different options and very fresh and delicious.
