Insomnia Cookies is a great solution when Subway is closed. What I am trying to say is, Insomnias' cookies taste just like Subway's cookies. I don't think there is anything wrong about that. I loooooooove Subway's cookies. There was a Subway in the UCF gym, I went to the UCF gym solely to purchase chocolate chip cookies from Subway. I think I ran (read: trotted while trying to understand what was happening on whatever episode of RH that was being played on the screen) on the treadmill once before ordering my 2 chocolate chip cookies. There are some ~cool~ flavas like s'mores, confetti, and salted caramel. They all taste the same though.. because they all taste like a Subway cookie. The point of this place is definitely late night. It's in the name, it's in the branding, it's in the whole story. So maybe it's a 5 star situation at midnight? Overall the store was clean, and the menu was easy to follow. The team member was more than friendly. My husband loved their basic chocolate chip cookie and said that it's one of the best cookies in Tampa. My kids loved their red velvet cookie and M&M cookie. Cookies start at $2, although vegan and specialty cookies are more. If you buy a box of cookies, the cookies are discounted a bit. If you live nearby, they deliver. Cookies are wonderful, but the customer service is horrible. I ordered -and paid extra- on 12/22 for a delayed delivery on Chrismas Eve as a gift. I was shocked to see that the gift was on its way within an hour after ordering. I called the store, spoke with a very young lady who said she'd call the driver and stop the delivery and call me back. I then received a text that the cookies were delivered! This was unacceptable as it was too late to disturb them. And don't no one called me back as promised, I called again and this time spoke to Samantha who said the order was not in fact delivered, and it was in her system for a delivery on the 24th. Well that wasn't true either. The cookies were delivered at the wrong time and date and left outside all night as the family was asleep. No one has returned my call nor refunded the extra fee I paid for a later delivery. Don't order unless you don't mind dealing with dishonest employees who don't know how to use the phone or handle customer service issues that arise. We are two different ice cream cookie sandwiches: a regular and a deluxe, which are a small and a larger size, respectively. Here were our thoughts... Taste-wise, the cookies AND the ice cream were absolutely delicious. This place sells itself as a cookie shop and it lives up to that. Triple chunk chocolate chip and the peanut butter cup cookies are phenomenal. However, the ice cream sandwich simply did not function as a sandwich. Not the small one, not the large one. We just had to end up eating them with the spoon entirely. That was a shame. They provide you an estimated delivery time (which is usually 45-1 hour post order) and it's usually always over an hour late, so a total of 2 hour wait. Consistently! My husband would give it 4.5 stars but I'm giving this place 5 stars! I will say this place is a little evil because I went in just four for cookies and left with 12 hahaha. I strongly suggest if you are on Instagram to follow their Instagram page as they often post deals. They're 12-pack is usually $21 but this weekend it was $15. I do plan to freeze some of these cookies to save for a treat for later. I came in right after they opened and the place smelled of fresh baked cookies which is what tempts you to buy more hahaha. As you can see in the pictures I just got a variety pack of the classic cookies. So far my husband and I tried the chocolate chunk, the M&M classic as well as the double chocolate chunk and all tastes really delicious. Unfortunately since I bought him a birthday cake as well we're going to save the cookies for another time. Only one worker available (that I saw-poor guy) but luckily he wasn't too busy. Although these cookies are amazing I took a star off only because he had a limited selection available at the time.
