I have never had Insomnia Cookies before, but I was enticed by the idea that I could get hot cookies sent to my house at 11pm (this is actually my first time ever getting food delivered, as I grew up in the sticks), and that this location had just opened the other day in addition to an anniversary sale with free delivery. I placed my order at around 10:30pm, and received them at 11:15pm. The only bummer was that the cheapest way I could meet the $9 purchase requirement for delivery was to either order 6 massive cookies, or 24 mini cookies. I have to say, I expected the mini cookies to be smaller than they were, so the size of them did surprise me; they're about the size of a typical pre-packaged snack cookie. They arrived warm, with the chocolate melty, and imitated the fresh homemade cookies out of the oven feel. They're a bit crispy, but still have a softness to them while they're hot, although I imagine this will dissipate as they cool.
