I LOVE The Dapper Bean! I don't get by their coffee truck very much, but since I've been home on a teacher-summer-break, I have been able to scoot on over several times this summer. I tried the Bread Zepplin (a fun twist on Banana Bread) and it's to die for. It has brown sugar, cinnamon, and banana flavors and it's so dang good! It's hot waiting outside since this is a walk-up coffee truck, but it's worth it. They are such a sweet couple that run this truck, as well as the others who work for/with them. They aren't a large shop with lots of employees, so you may have to wait a minute, but the service is great! I love that they have been putting fun stickers on their cups and even using fun straws. It really elevates the experience. If you are in the area, pull in. You won't regret it! read more

So happy I finally got to try out The Dapper Bean!! I've been eyeing their menu forever, and I finally made it a point to check out their fall menu. One of their signature fall drinks really caught my eye - the Golden Harvest! A blend of white mocha, salted caramel, brown butter toffee and maple! It was so good! She asked me what sweetness level I wanted and I went medium, so it was just right. I could still taste the flavors, but it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. I love the branded cups and with it being spooky season, they put cute little Halloween themed stickers on the cups too! I wanted to try one of their regular menu signature creations too. I asked what her top 3 were, and while they all sounded amazing, I can't resist anything Biscoff cookie butter! I went medium sweet on this one too, and it was delightful! It has real cookie butter, not just a syrup. Also super happy that they had decaf espresso! Last but not least - the lady working, who happens to be the owner, was SO sweet! She guided me through the ordering process and made sure I had my milk preference and sweetness levels customized to my liking. Everything here was just a great experience, I can't wait to go back and tackle some more of their menu! Make sure to follow them on social media to keep up with where they'll be parked! Continuing our tour of coffee shops in the area we decided to check out The Dapper Bean last Sunday morning. Their typical spot is in the same location as Twin City Sweets but we learned after our visit they post their weekly schedule on both Instagram and Facebook weekly which is helpful. We arrived about 11am and there was a small line of customers. The coffee trailer itself is very nice and decorated cute. We knew from a bit of research the couple preparing the coffees are a husband and wife duo which is pretty cool. We were immediately greeted and she was able to tell this was our first time ordering there and walked us through their sugar free latte options which we appreciated. We ultimately both decided to try the sugar free S'mores latte, both in the 20 oz size. Our orders were prepared in a few minutes and since we had asked for them to be prepared extra sweet she wanted to be sure they were sweet enough for us. The lattes were hot and delicious and really hit the spot. We thought their prices were reasonable and we will be back. Great local business that we are happy to support! read more

The couple that runs the Dapper Bean are the nicest people! We always seek them out on Sundays if we're in the Stratford area. The coffee is consistently really good with a large variety of options for a food truck. The service is quick and very kind and that logo with the dog with monocle is epic. The Dapper Bean is such a great coffee spot in Winston! We've visited them at Clemmonsville Rd and seen them at community events like Southern Charm at the Farm. Each time, they're always friendly and working hard to fill orders. I especially love their hot chocolate and my partner is a fan of their cold brew. This is a great truck to visit with friends from out of town to show them a true gem the locals love. read more

If 10 stars was an option, I'd give it! I only recently discovered this gem, and I'm so glad I did! Not only is the woman that owns (with her husband, I think but am not sure) it very sweet, but every single thing I've tried has been so good! I've tried 4 different things now and haven't had a single miss. Today I tried a Salty Bean which is a tasty salted caramel concoction and my disappointment was that I didn't get 2! Seriously, if you haven't tried it out, go immediately! read more

We've stopped here a couple of times and it has been really good both times. Their coffee was very good and doesn't leave that sour taste that some other places have. I had the hickory smoked pumpkin spice latte iced and my wife a iced vanilla late. My drink was made perfectly, the barista actually placed my coffee under a dome and drew in the smoke from a torched stick of hickory to give it just the right amount of smokiness. The Dapper Bean is a mobile coffee shop (think food truck) and are based out of Mocksville. Most weekends you can find them at the corner of Clemmonsville Rd and Stratford Rd where Twin City Sweets is located. They are there from 7:30ish - 3pm. While it is an outdoor venue, masks are should be worn at all times to ensure the safety of the employees and yourself. I ordered an iced caramel latte and a chocolate chip cookie (because who can refuse a cookie...lol). They encourage you to taste your drink so if you need a little more caramel (in my case), they will provide you more so you can "doctor it" to your taste. I enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie but wouldn't necessarily get one again as it is (in my opinion) on the standard side. They also have cinnamon rolls and muffins to choose from. The owners are wonderful and are a wealth of knowledge on the science of making a fabulous latte. Will definitely be back! read more

The absolute cutest coffee truck! The couple that owns and runs the truck is so kind. We typically stop by on Sundays-the location is so easy! I love all their various options. I ordered a lavender latte this last visit. When we arrived there was a few people waiting-only the husband was working and he handled the "pressure" with such ease! He even offered to bring them to our car because it was so cold out. Also MUST TRY-their "smoked coffees" with their Old Fashion smoke box. Not syrup sweet, a natural sweet added to enhance coffee experience. Highly recommend to anyone that has personal ask or like to try new things. Just started really drinking coffee 5 weeks ago (I have a 5 week old at home, coincidence? Haha) and was looking to try out a new local spot this weekend to get my fix and stumbled upon this place and I'm so glad I did! It's basically a mobile coffee shop with drinks and treats! I ordered a 12oz black coffee for my husband and then got myself a 12oz "shallow mallow" which I LOVED! This is basically a coffee shop food truck, love the concept! When I got there I told (who I assume is the owner?) them that I was new to coffee and explained what I'd been drinking at home and kind of what I was looking for. He made a recommendation for the shallow mallow after I told him my preferences and it was spot on to what I was interested in trying! The Shallow Mallow was a latte made with oat milk, sugar free s'mores syrup and topped with marshmallows which he toasted up. The drink was delicious and not overly sweet. Delicious drinks with wonderful customer service, we will definitely be back! read more

I was driving and in need of a pick me up. That is when I saw The Dapper Bean truck on the corner of Stratford and Clemmonsville. They have a great menu and the owners are super nice. I had the pumpkin spice latte. It was amazing and very refreshing. I appreciate that they don't up charge for non-dairy milk. This was one of the best iced pumpkin spice latte as I have ever had. We have been visiting this coffee truck since the first weekend they opened down the street from our home. The owners are a husband and wife duo who work amazingly hard to please their customers. They will custom order drinks to your specifications, especially if you have dietary needs. They're extremely friendly, their coffee is phenomenal, their drink combinations are extremely delicious. Such a cute mobile coffee shop! My brother and I finally got a chance to stop by (after passing by the area they were typically at many times) and grab a cup of coffee on a Sunday afternoon before studying and the sweetest couple greeted us! Their drinks specials are so unique and DELICIOUS! I highly recommend looking at that menu only when getting your coffee from them as they really show their creativity and novelty. I got a hot cup of the Shallow Mallow with an extra shot of espresso (grad school life!) and, oh my goodness, the torched marshmallows are EXCEPTIONAL additions. They want you to try the drink before you leave since they want to ensure every customer loves their drink. I absolutely loved it. Super grateful that cup kept me up as I studied all day! I am not a huge espresso drinker but the folks at The Dapper Bean have made me a believer. I appreciate the fact that they truly care about the product that they deliver and always make sure your drink is to your liking before you leave. If you don't see something on the menu board that you like, they will do their best to create the perfect beverage just for you. On occasion they'll even slip in a few shots of espresso on the house, which makes for a nice boost if you're into that sort of thing. The young folks working here are always polite and quick, and they've never gotten one of my orders wrong. Their location isn't hard to find, but there isn't much room to navigate from their order window back through the driveway they share with a neighboring business and then onto Lewisville-Clemmons. The site layout simply isn't great, so be prepared to contend with that.

Swung by to grab my caffeine fix and wouldn't you know it, the person ahead of me ordered some fancy looking drink. So, when it was finally my turn, I just had to inquire about that intriguing green and pink concoction. Rachel, the young lady behind the counter, informed me that it was a cold matcha with strawberry cold foam. She then asked if I was a fan of matcha, to which I confessed that I had never tried it before. Without hesitation, she whipped one up for me. And let me tell you, it was love at first sip. They are located directly across from Brookstown Inn within a quaint shopping center. They have parking on front and the shop is huge. They offer baked goods, pastries, waffles, smoothies, matcha, and coffee/espresso. Ms. Abby & her staff are kind and know the regulars. They roast their coffee beans on site and also sell bags of coffee (beans & ground). They have creative drinks and give back to the community. I met with community leaders regularly at this shop and many had never been before and were happy to revisit. My favorite drinks are anything mocha and they never disappoint. You will find many of my favorites pictured. I recommend them all the time. Give them a try.
