None the less we'd stay again given these lessons learned.

This is the best marina on Douglas Lake. The new owners have done so many renovations and the place…read morelooks amazing. The boat slips on Douglas lake are new, as well and so pretty. The campground has great camper spots and all the campers are so nice. I stayed in the cabins and they are also renovated with wonderful views of the lake. It is such a peaceful place away from the tourist traps of East Tennessee. OMG, did i mention they have boat rentals? We did kayaks one day and pontoon one day. It was fabulous and the staff were so eager to ensure we were taken care of. I would give it six stars if I could.

Guides are friendly and fun all while giving the sense of trust that they are looking out for your safety. Our group was 4 parents in one raft and 5 young adults in another (each raft can hold 6).
