Enter Lafayette Dental Excellence. Dr. Leo, Jane, Mary, and Barb are everything I'd hoped to find, but never thought I would. Dr. Leo excels in the traits I value most in a dentist: patience, attention to detail, and outstanding knowledge of the most up-to-date advances in dentistry - in addition to foundational knowledge from experience, of course. Oh and, of equal import, compassion for my terror of anything remotely related to dental issues. Dr. Leo's assistant, Jane, could not be more kind and efficient. Mary, the office manager, is incredibly knowledgeable as well, so kind (must be a prerequisite for the office), and just fun to talk to - even in the midst of a painful dental emergency. Finally, Barb, my very first introduction to the office when I called, is warm and engaging. She sold me on giving the office a try, and I am so glad I did. Highly recommend this team.

I was told that the best option would be to prep and crown every single tooth. Dr. Chae is truly remarkable. His craft and precision are SECOND TO NONE. This entire practice is elite. I know this because I'm a son of a dentist and I can confidently say that this practices the most elite practice that I've ever experienced in my long history of dental care. Dr. Chae crowned every tooth and my smile looks real to the extent that people have complimented me on my teeth not knowing that what they are seeing are actually crowns. I went from an eroded, shortened teeth due to grinding and ended up with a genuinely beautiful smile that sincerely looks 100% real. I have increased my dental hygiene to the extent that I have a water pick and toothbrush at work after I eat lunch. I am so happy with my smile that I want it to last as long as possible as I am 31 and presumably have a lot of life ahead of me. I feel confident in the longevity of the total mouth rehabilitation given the extreme detail that Dr. Chae practices (he redid what was supposed to be an original final crown because they were not exactly how he wanted them to be at no extra cost, but just because of his demanding of perfection to the extent that is possible). It was a long process, the full mouth rehabilitation took around 15 visits over 6 months of multiple sets of temporary crowns, each improving on the last. I would trust Dr. Chae with my mouth forever because I know that he simply demands perfection and I have responded to his enthusiasm by implementing a strict floss 2x daily, waterpick 3x daily, brush 3x daily because I want my mouth to look exactly how it does now for as long as possible. I am confident that this rehabilitation will last a very long time given my new dental hygiene routine. If anything were to change, I would only go to Dr. Chae and this practice. There are several prosthodontists and their performance I can tell is similarly detail oriented, and elite. But given the fact that Dr. Chae completely rehabilitated my mouth, I would go nowhere else. I supremely recommend this practice more than five stars. It is as top notch as you can get. I can confidently say that if I were a patient, I would trust Dr. Chae's treatment plan and work over anybody else. I am very grateful to the practice and I was extremely warmly received and I will never forget how good of an experience I had at this place.

I had a crown break and come off over the weekend. Searched the internet for dentists on Monday. Dr. Wallin had great reviews. I called and his office was closed until Tuesday. I was not in pain, so left a message expecting an appointment within a couple of weeks. Tuesday morning I receive a call from Dr. Wallin's office telling me they could fit me in at 11am that morning! When Dr. Wallin and his assistants examined by crown situation, he told me that they had a last minute cancellation and he would be able to fit me for a new crown right then!! Additionally, I explained that I was late for a cleaning. He checked with his Hygienist, and she said she would clean my teeth while I was there too! Less than 2 hours later I walked out following a full dental exam, complete set of new xrays, and a sonar teeth cleaning to boot. Dr. Wallin provided me with a full consultation about the condition of my teeth, gums and mouth. One of his nurses gave me an injection prior to preparing my new crown and I never felt even a pinch from the needle. The office manager fully explained all itemized costs prior to any procedures and what my insurance would cover. The prices were more than reasonable ( I have had plenty of dental work). I left the office feeling like I just met a bunch of new trustworthy friends who really cared about my health.
