They leave you with zero resources for pain relief and talk to you like your a felon if you have a low pain tolerance. Very disappointed in this place.

However, after meeting Dr. Lopez and talking to him he put all my concerns to rest. His bedside manners are second to none. After my consolidation, the ladies in the office called before my surgery to check in with me, to review my procedure again and make sure I didn't have any additional questions. The day of the surgery Dr. Lopez did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable. He came out behind the receptionist desk when I was in the waiting room and asked if I was ready and starting making jokes. He knew that I was terrified of needles like a little kid so he made me completely forget about the needle. I mentioned that laying back helps me when it comes to needles, so before he started the IV he reclined my seat all the way back in a full relax mood, he had one of his assistants hold my hand. (Don't laugh - I have a sever issue with needles) After the surgery no pain, no extra bleeding. I seriously was up Friday like nothing had happen - other then a small amount of swelling. My only suggestion is never ask someone who had their wisdom teeth pulled 30 years ago about the process, they will all give you horror stories.

When having my second implant done, Dr Kim incorrectly inserted my IV causing pain all down my arm and keeping me from going to sleep. When I tried to alert him to this he told me to "shut up" or I would "ruin his good work." leaving me awake and in pain for the remainder of the procedure. The only saving grace was the nurse who put the gas mask on me every chance she got, leading to me telling myself I was just a car at the mechanic so the drilling into my face was standard procedure. I am still traumatised by this experience, leaving me shaking and crying for even the most basic dental cleanings. I have sat on this review of his horrible bedside manor wanting to believe he had at least been successful with a difficult case of an implant but now that I am having to spend time, money, and revisit trauma to have it removed it is more clear than ever Dr Kim cares more about his ego than his patients. They were very cold and not personable after surgery either. The days that followed were terrible.. I called a few times to inquire about some recovery questions and was met with disrespect like I was an inconvenience to the staff. I also had to wait over an hour or more for my post op appts, and spent MAYBE 10 mins with Dr. Koo when he finally came in. The surgical site is still not the best. Overall, He was very dismissive and seemed very distant after surgery, I'm not sure if he even desires to provide good care or just wants you in and out.. I did not return for the implant and will not. Always do your due diligence when looking for any kind of healthcare professional, it will save you a lot of mistreatment.

Then, when we got here, they wouldn't even take her to the back until the remaining $1,500 was paid -- not a single word of kindness, not even a simple "hello" or "good morning." Just, "sign her in and pay." No care, no compassion -- just cash. My mother has two abscessed teeth that desperately need to be removed. Her dentist even said she should never have been sent home from the ER. But apparently, Dr. Dieter J. Moya and Dr. Blake D. Maida have a "standard policy" that even emergency, life-threatening situations must be paid in full before the patient is even allowed through the door. I asked multiple times if she could at least go to the back while I handled the payment -- they refused, every single time. They didn't offer to explain how long the procedure would take, where I should wait, or what to expect for recovery. I had to ask for every single detail. Then they told me I wasn't even allowed to leave the building! This staff and this office are cold, unprofessional, and completely heartless. The only thing they care about is money -- not patients, not compassion, not human decency. I wouldn't recommend these dental surgeons or this office to anyone -- not a person, not a pet, not even an insect. The staff provided educational videos about the procedure and conducted an exam to plan the best approach. Dr. Mahmood kindly explained each step of the process to ensure I understood everything. I chose to proceed with local anesthesia and opted out of the Exparel injection at the end of the surgery. I scheduled my surgery for two weeks later and received thorough instructions beforehand. On the day of the procedure, it lasted about 30 minutes; one wisdom tooth was more complex and took a bit longer. The recovery was smooth, with no significant pain or swelling, thanks to careful adherence to the medication schedule. Five days post-surgery, I noticed only a small hematoma in a facial area. I am very grateful to Dr. Mahmood, the assistants, and the entire staff for their excellent care and support throughout this process.

The office is very COVID safe: not allowing guests in waiting rooms, monitoring temperatures, staff wearing face shields. For the procedure, I chose to go under and it was a very quick procedure (less than an hour). I only had to clamp down on the gauze for 1 hour afterwards and the bleeding disappeared. I didn't have any pain afterwards and didnt need any pain medication! I was back to eating solid food within 5 days. The office provides you with a specific syringe that you can spray into the holes left behind by the teeth to clean out any food debris stuck in the holes which was very helpful! The staff also call on you to check up and are very responsive to any questions. Dr. Mahmood is also very personable. Honestly, the most seamless experience ever, I couldn't rate any higher.
