We had the best time at Inspired Art Wine's 10th anniversary. Our instructor Shelly was so kind, welcoming, and made the process feel doable. She has a wealth of knowledge and expertise that really enhanced the experience, plus, she is incredibly positive, too! Karen, the business owner and additional teacher at Inspired Art Wine is such a delight. She makes every person feel so welcomed in her space. You feel like you're in some small town sweet spot in Gilmore Girls or Ginny and Georgie hehe. The space is so welcoming and accommodates all levels (as you can tell by my painting lol). Also! For non-drinkers they have non-alcoholic beer, sodas, etc! Thank you Shelly, Karen and Karen's partner. We can't wait to come back!

I attended a work-related event here and can honestly say it was the best one I've ever had with the group. Karen, the owner, personally led our group with confidence, humor, talent, kindness, creativity... Our group painted wine bottles and even those of us with no artistic ability created wonderful keepsakes. Karen and her team are the epitome of grace and joy. I will be back with family and friends. I may grab someone off the street to join us as the time spent at Inspired brings people together in a special way everyone should experience.

Inspired Art Wine is the perfect place to learn how to paint while sipping on some delicious wine! I'm not sure what's better, the wine or the art. The owner Karen was a fun Instructure! Leading us step by step in how to paint using acrylic. She was fun, upbeat and personable. 2.5 hours flew by! Did I mention the wine? Karen is also an expert in wine selection. You will not disappoint. This art studio is clean, organized and easy to get around. The bar is located toward the back of the studio with breaks every :30 minutes to get your wine glass filled up. Wine and beer is for purchase. You can even order a cheese plate ahead of time to much while you sip and paint. We did the holiday beach painting this time. Great place to hang with a few friends and connect. Become an artist for a day at Inspire Art Wine. I will be recommend this place to everyone I know.

Had a great time at the wine bottle painting class with Karen. Lots of laughs and she provided detailed instruction and was super patient. I have such little artistic talent but with her help, I'm happy with my painting. Bring some friends and come and enjoy!

I left this class feeling scammed and disrespected. I've taken five paint-and-sip classes, and this was by far the worst experience. If Karen didn't feel up to hosting a small class, she should've just cancelled. The owner, Karen, did not lead the class herself. Instead, she had a friend or boyfriend run the session while she worked on a separate personal project. She even joked he wasn't an employee; which wouldn't have been an issue if he had demonstrated "master artist" skills as indicated on the booking. He frequently referred to the reference painting on the screen to decide what to do next, which made the instruction feel disorganized and unprofessional. He repeatedly described the piece as "whimsical," but it felt more like a way to justify the fact that his version didn't resemble the painting that was advertised when I booked the class. By the end, the paintings produced in class, including the instructor's, looked very different from the example shown on the screen and on the website. This is where it became evident for me we'd been scammed since we signed up expecting to create something similar to the advertised image. Our version of the painting was very elementary. Very little shading instruction was offered so our paintings look very one dimensional. We even received contradicting instructions from the instructor and Karen. Overall, this class did not meet expectations in terms of instruction, professionalism, or accuracy to what was advertised. I would not recommend it based on my experience.

I attended a team building event for work with co-workers where we did wine tasting. We received some education about each type of wine that we tasted and we scored the wines based on our preferences. We also got to experiment with pairings as we had many snacks to pair with, meats, cheeses, crackers and chocolates. After the tasting and scoring, we were able to create our own bottle with choosing the bottle color, foil color, designed our own label and created a formula for our own blended wine based on our scoring of the wine tasting. This was a fun experience and was first for me. This place is highly rated on Yelp and we had a great experience with Karen. Five stars!

Such a fun experience! The atmosphere was welcoming, relaxed, and full of great energy. The instructor was fantastic--super energetic, encouraging, and made the whole class feel easy. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun and creative outing.

Came here with a group of us and oh my gosh I didn't know this place existed but it is so cool! The art teacher (I believe her name was Kathy) has so many cool stories about her career and is so knowledgeable and is great at showing exactly what we're doing when, which I appreciated. I love that they have a bar inside where you can order mocktails, cocktails, wine, etc. This made it so unique! Everyone is really friendly, personable, and fun... and it was nice to meet the owner, too! They play music, converse with you, teach you things, give you breaks to socialize and refill.. it is open and spacious.. I only have great things to say. This would be great for girls night, date night, groups, birthdays, etc etc.

Inspired art wine is a fun activity for couples, friends, and even coworkers. The class we went to was a guided beach sunset class. Our teacher, who so happens yo be the owner was very helpful in giving tips and helping everyone bring their artistic side out. We opted for the reisling and it paired well with the cheese board. Although the cheeses were good, I wished the board had more crackers or fruits to balance the taste. This studio offers classes for different levels of painters so if you're more advanced, I definitely suggest you looking into one of their oil painting or portraits classes.

I recently brought my team from work to Inspired Art Wine as a teambuilding, and it was amazing!! What made Inspired Art Wine stand out was how dedicated Karen and her entire team were to giving us a holistic team-bonding experience. The flow of the event was great - starting off with some fun wines, moving into the more structured painting time, and then finishing up the paintings. Karen did a great job guiding us (mostly rookies) and keeping the energy high! This was the secret sauce and why I would strongly recommend Inspired: the team was there to facilitate your enjoyment! The instructions were great - Karen knew that we didn't have much experience, and she did an excellent blend of giving us instructions, moving us along, and keeping us encouraged. The Swiss Alps paining was phenomenal and so much fun colors! Even though my team of engineers was apprehensive about painting, by the end they absolutely loved it and are still talking about it around the office! All in all an awesome experience, and I'm super glad we did it. Thank you so much Karen and team! read more

I came to Inspired Art Wine for a private work party and it was so much fun! We were allowed to eat beforehand and bring our own food. The space is very open and feels welcoming to all. The instructor was awesome and gave great tips while painting. The owner also joined us and was very friendly and could carry a conversation :) the paint we got was a standard paint, not the good kind, but it works really well for the group instruction. Met the owner, Karen, and had the instructor, Shellly, they were both super great! I loved the class. It was super engaging and lots of fun. Everyone was able to interact with each other and there were the perfect amount of breaks. I would recommend to anyone who would be interested in trying a painting class for fun! I came to Inspired Art Wine yesterday with a group of friends for a wine bottle painting sesh. The entire staff was super friendly and attentive with us. We were given samples of great wines and we ended up sharing a bottle amongst us. The entire vibe at the studio super fun and energetic. Even though I'm not the very least artistic, I had a great time. My friends all enjoyed there time here too and we are making plans to come again soon. I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone. You'll have a great time here no doubt. read more

Everybody knows this" His attitude was completely unnecessary and incredibly disrespectful. He also appeared to have been drinking himself, which made his behavior even more uncomfortable. It's one thing to enforce a policy it's another to treat paying customers like they're being kicked out of the place. A simple heads-up when we arrived would have prevented the entire situation. My bf spends hundreds $$$ at this place. This was such a bad experience!!! I am very disappointed.

I told them it was our anniversary. My wife was distraught, and I pleaded with them and tried to reason with them. They turned us away anyway. We weren't asking anyone to slow the class down or stay late -- we would have caught up on our own. My wife left humiliated on the day she had planned as a gift. I get it -- you have to run a business, and you have to start on time. But she was there inside the window you gave us and you wouldn't seat her. It came down to one minute and two people standing in front of you, and you chose the minute. The class started without us. So did the last impression I'll have of this place.

My credit card was kept to open a tab tonight. When closing out, I was asked to wait till the end to close out with my group. Then upon group close out, my card was lost by the person taking payment's. She apologized and said I wouldn't be charged for my drinks tonight but this does not help the hassle that follows a lost/stolen credit card. I now have to update all of my monthly bills and payment's due to your employee carelessness and lack of organization. Very poor customer customer service. Very sad attempt to 'make it right' saying "you won't be charged for your drinks" and telling me to leave. No duh. You can't charge me for my drinks because you lost my credit card. Pathetic. Please follow up with me. The same employee continued to urge me and my group of ten out the door due to their own personal prior obligations to attend a show of some sort. Very poor experience. This place sucks. Update since original review. Employee mentioned above is Karen. She has replied staying that it was rude of me to not tip her and her staff. It is sad how unbelievably poor their customer service is. read more

A friend of mine told me about Inspired a few weeks and was raving about how much fun she and her husband had so I had to try it out! I brought my mother with me and we painted a winter landscape. Wow, from the owner to the staff, the atmosphere made the entire experience so fun the 3 hours flew by. What I really like about this place is that you can sample the wines before buying (free wine tasting! Woohoo!). The "Instructor-Tainer" totally met my expectations. He was fun, energetic, engaging while staying extremely patient and helpful walking us through the process. We even painted using a palette knife! I was so amazed how the painting turned out especially since it was the most advanced painting they offer. I'm totally coming back and bringing more friends with me! I found a fun and safe place to get out of the house and be creative and Inspired Art Wine is that place. Not only did the owner Karen keep us safe and follow all the local and county guidelines with social distancing and wearing mask, she made it fun! She not only is the owner but she was the painting instructor too. I was able to enjoy painting, relax, de-stress and meet people. What a great activity. What a great place to have our annual business party. We had food from Hole Mole next door brought over, and then sat down to paint. None of us were really artists but after a couple sips and brush strokes we had some amazing paintings. It was really to cool see how everyone had a slightly different take on the same instruction. She was incredibly flexible with scheduling and working with me on the event planning. The location was easy to get to in Newport and the studio itself had the perfect amount of space for my group of 7 people. Be aware that you will have to pay for parking, but it's relatively inexpensive and done via app. During the event itself, Jeniece was patient and made jokes which we were very grateful for given that many of us hadn't painted or attempted visual art since high school. She provided the final product options and we voted on which we'd all complete. She was very attentive in the lesson -- she both demonstrated and walked around the class to see how we were progressing. She was incredibly positive with her feedback. I would recommend Jeniece and Art + Soul to anyone doing a work team event. Her flexibility and positivity were exactly what we needed!

I took the first of a new type of class and way of painting. The studio lighting was low with candles on the stations next to our easels. The class was a contemporary painting that included new to me techniques and was inspired with a guided meditation. First we traced "Sacred Geometry" or a flower of life on the blank canvas for healing and transformation. Then a base color for grounding and next a guided meditation (my mom came through) then we to painted blind folded. It was a great experience. Timree is a genius and intentional without being stuffy or strict. I'm a long term paint club member it's great value and this class was priceless for me.

From the moment I reached out to Jeniece to inquire about booking a party, I had a great experience. Booking was clear and easy, and Jeniece invited me to submit the art subject my daughter wanted to do for her party. The studio is absolutely adorable with a fun, artsy, clean, chic, boho-style vibe. The front of the studio has a comfortable place for guests to sit, relax and mingle, and a play space with some building toys for the kids to occupy themselves while waiting for all guests to arrive and painting to start. When we arrived 30 min early for party set-up, Jeniece was so welcoming, accommodating, helpful and friendly. Party prep was a breeze. Since the studio is already tastefully designed, all I had to do was put up a cute backdrop, set out the plates, napkins, cupcakes, pizza and waters, and BOOM! Party done for this mom (high five!!). Jeniece set up an inviting and fun art table, with perfectly curated and perfectly supplied stations for each girl. Jeniece did a fabulous job instructing the girls with step-by-step guidance in a fun, informative, helpful and orderly manner. Like clockwork, the girls had finished their paintings (I was so impressed with how she timed out the painting to have it end right at the 1.5hr mark). We served up the pizza, sang "Happy Birthday," enjoyed cupcakes, snapped some pics, and then said our "good byes" with each girl taking home their "masterpiece." Everyone had a fantastic time. If you're a mom looking for a perfect place to have your child's next Bday or other celebration, and want to hit the "easy button" while wowing everyone, this is where you want to be! THANK YOU!!

When we checked during the camp, she was on the couch on cell phone. At the end my granddaughter spent a lot of time made a beautiful bracelet for Xmas, asked Marlow to tie it, she said she could not do it cuz of her long nails. I tried it not knowing what to do, all the beads came off all over the floor! My granddaughter was in disbelief and tears in her eyes. I felt very bad, but it was pick up time no time for her to make another one. For the 5 year old to leave with broken heart was not nice at all. The 7 year old tied his own bracelet but it all came apart in the car. For $99 per kid I paid almost $200, definitely was not cheap. Why can the teacher help the younger ones tying the bracelets? The beautiful long nails maybe more useful as a receptionist or secretary. I was more than disappointed!

At $140 for a month--three hours a day, once a week--I thought it was a great, budget-friendly hobby to enjoy.From the very first class, our instructor, Sam, taught us pottery in great detail. Sam majored in pottery and was incredibly kind, thorough, and helpful. Now that I've finished my first month, I've decided to sign up for another month! I truly believe this place is an excellent option for anyone looking for a hobby. The studio owners are also wonderfully nice, and the atmosphere is so friendly that everyone can easily become friends.If you need some healing from your busy daily routine, you should definitely give it a try! Parking can be a bit challenging, but it's not impossible since you can just park on the street and walk over.

Here's why I continue to…read morechoose this place over others: - Along with a 2 hour guided session once a week, you get to come in during non-class hours to practice and make unlimited items throughout the month (which makes this studio's monthly class cost an AMAZING DEAL) - They provide all the clay and tools needed to succeed. No need to purchase anything unless you want to upgrade your game. - I've only taken classes with Emma and Tim (who are both stellar instructors), but I heard everyone else is great too. - As long as you provide a 48 hour notice, you can switch your class to another day of the week. - There's always parking available! - You can purchase tools and materials directly from the shop and pick it up on the shelf the next time you come in. Overall, this place is 10/10. The only "downside" is that it's a cone 10 reduction studio, but to some it might not matter!
