A bunch of us were having a…read moregreat time at the wedding - laughing, taking photos in the photo booth, etc. We took a lot of group photos in the booth and when the size of the group got too big, we accidentally shifted the photo booth back an inch. The attendant literally SCREAMED at our group and said, "GET OUT! GET OUT!! GET OUTTT NOW!!!!!!" Big-eyed and bewildered, we immediately exited the photo booth feeling like we were children getting reprimanded by our parent. I understand he had an obligation to make sure the photo booth stayed in tact, but there is absolutely no need to SCREAM at a group of adults in their mid-30s and completely damper the mood of the wedding. The bride was also in the photo booth at the time, so to have one of her vendors demean her in front of her guests is unacceptable.You are in the service industry. You service people. Have a little more dignity in the way you speak to your customers. Their booth is also so small that any group with more than five people is considered "large." My husband who is 6'2" stood as far back in the booth as possible, and the photos still cut off his entire forehead and eyebrows. Ridiculous. This could be easily fixed if they just got a better lens. Last, the photo booth only prints ONE sheet of photos and the attendant cuts them in to two strips. The attendant REFUSED to print additional prints. For all the other weddings I've attended (including my own), attendants print as many copies as the guests request. That's called customer service. If Booth 4 wants to compete in an already saturated market, they will need to step up their game.

With just about a week before the party, I was so happy to hear that they still had an opening for our event date. We were also able to purchase 3-hrs for roughly $430 with tax. It was a steal! From the initial communication with Vanessa, she was responsive and thorough. I had quite a bit of questions, and she answered all of them in a timely manner. I'm sure Vanessa is quite busy. I had better luck reaching out via email, but I always received a response fairly quickly. Prior to the event, they have you fill out a questionnaire to customize the pictures according to your event. Unfortunately, I failed to do it. Whoops! I received an email with some templates. All of them looked great, but we wanted to go with the Hawaiian theme. I emailed Hello Smiley for Hawaiian samples. I received three amazing ones that fit perfectly with our theme. You can see which one we picked in my pictures. On the day of our party, I emailed Vanessa to see if they wanted to arrive 15-minutes prior to their initial arrival time to minimize foot traffic at the start of the event. Vanessa responded within minutes, and they had everything setup and ready to go in a timely manner. Vanessa and George (I think) were great! Super friendly and patient with all our guests as we're known to get a little rowdy. I also received the link for the soft copies of all the pictures taken within a day or two. They were great hosts, and we would definitely recommend their services!! On a side note: You receive 3 pictures per session. You get 5-seconds in between the pics, so be prepared with all your props. Loads of fun!

Vanessa, the main contact that I would email back-and-forth assisted me all the way to the night of the event with quick, thorough responses, and a warm smile (hence the name of the company!) :) She was such a delight, and the price was definitely right, that we are using Hello Smiley again for our party this year! 2016: We booked the standard enclosed photo booth package for 4 hours for about $500. This package came with unlimited photos, props, as well as a photo tech (Dee) that assisted us during the event. We even received a USB with all our pics that were taken throughout the night! Sweet! The classic enclosed booth was intimate, and could fit probably 3-4 people comfortably. 2018: We booked the "open-air" photo booth this year in the standard package for 4 hours. This cost about the same at the year before and will include the same things as the standard package. Due to Vanessa's quick responses, I was able to book their services within 20 minutes online. Dee, the photo tech we had in 2016, helped us out again the day-of. She was sweet and extremely helpful during our party! The open air booth was much more spacious, and we were able to fit over 6 or 7 people in the booth for silly pictures and fun memories! Definitely recommend it if you got big groups!
