I will not be returning to this nail salon. During my last appointment, I expressed my concern to Llewyann, the shop manager, about my nail technician being late for the second time in a row. However, I was disappointed by her response as she became defensive and made excuses for his behavior. She compared nail technicians to doctors and said that lateness is to be expected. To make matters worse, the gel nail polish that was applied during my appointment started to come off the very next day. When I went to another salon to have the polish changed/corrected, they informed me that it happened because the gel nail polish did not dry completely. After my conversation with Llewyann the vibe of the entire salon turned sour. It's unfortunate because I was beginning to like this salon. read more

Great salon! Everything is very clean and the people were nice. They are equipped with television, music playing and even a great sized aquarium like tank. I called to make an appointment and the woman I spoke with was very pleasant and even gave me directions in case I needed them. Walking in you see manicure stations and as you turn to the right, the pedicure chairs are there. I only got a pedicure but I loved it! I opted for the Organic Spa Pedicure which is their middle level basically. It was almost an hour long and very relaxing! She did a great job with the polish as well! When the client sitting next to you says she's had better service at the DMV, believe it! I gave this place three separate attempts to get it together. Basic pedicure was waaaay better than basic, so that's why I gave another appointment for a manicure with gel- but it yellowed inside 2 days. Finally, came in with already stiletto acrylic nails, standard polish. Got extra charges for shape, broken (it wasn't, the tech curved the tip "by accident"), chrome AND length--on top of a fill!! The prices are ok, but the work is substandard, the attitude level is high. Take yourself up 27 to another salon, save your money!! read more

I requested an eyebrow service only and I specified with the lady doing it I only wanted her to take a bit of my hair, she proceeded to do the complete opposite and gave my eyebrows form and made it them completely thin!!!! The owner usually does my eyebrows and she does an excellent job. I left quite upset because this is not the service I wanted and it was frustrating to see she did not understand when I told her " I DONT WANT MY EYEBROWS TO BE THIN". Unfortunately I will not be getting that service here again. But the nails are always a great service, just make sure they understand your directions when you ask about waxing. read more

I called for an appointment and was able to get in with less than an hour notice. I went around 11am on a Monday. Just like the last time the phone call was quick and professional. The salon was clean and relaxing. The music was playing softly in the background and my technician worked efficiently. I was very pleased with this experience. This time it took much less time but looked much better. I was happy I was able to sit for 10 minutes to allow for dry time and I didn't have to walk out with the spacers between my toes. The manager Tim checked on me to ensure everything was ok. I told him I was very happy with the service and the outcome. Although Tim invited me to contact him in advance after my last appointment and my review, I went in without letting him know until the end. So I'm only giving four stars because my nail broke off after only having them on for three days but overall I loved what I got versus what was shown. I went in for a full set & I wasn't expecting the exact design I showed them, I just told the nail tech to get as close as he could which he did a great job but then I get home on Sunday & realize my pinky nail just broke off without me even noticing. They said that up to 5 days of getting it done if your nail breaks they will fix it for free but they are closed on Sundays so I have to see if it will still hold true tomorrow which will either be considered my fourth or fifth day to them. I got a pedicure as well which was relaxing & just got regular French tips which looked fine. I really appreciated my tech because she realized I was super ticklish & opted on giving me a longer leg massage instead of using the purple scrub pad on the bottom of my feet because it couldn't quit jumping. read more

I recently moved in the area and after looking a multiple reviews I decided to give this place a try. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted. They have a convenient tablet check in system as well. I got a regular pedicure and dip nail polish. The pedicure was okay. While the area and chairs are very clean and luxurious, the tech didn't ask me if I wanted to cut my nails and I had to ask her to. The paint job and nail a SSA was okay, kind of sloppy ( I'm very picky with clean lines) The dip nail tech was different and did a great job! My only complaint is the consistency with the clean lines. Both were kind and welcoming and I might come back. I'm still going to try other nail salons in the meantime until I find THE ONE lol read more

I went to Florida for a wedding and had gotten my nails done in Utah the day before coming, but the lady did a terrible job. They were wide, square (supposed to be coffin, even though I told I asked her three times if she was going to fix it), the pink color and crystals she used (because it was the only thing she had) looked like it came out from a Barbie cartoon, so I decided to try InStyle Nails to have them fix them and get a pedicure. I am always apprehensive about going to nail salons when they are owned by Asians. In MY experience, they haven't been the most friendly or welcoming. They will speak to each other in their language (which I understand why, but think it kinda rude), seem pretty unhappy to be there, and sometimes don't even look at you. Many have done a great job though. The experience here was different!!!! The girl on the phone was super sweet with both me and my niece who also called later to schedule an appointment. My nail tech was a guy, and even though he did speak in his language with some of his coworkers, he didn't make me feel weird and was very polite, helpful, and listened to me. Having just moved to the Davenport area from South FL, I came across this salon on my Yelp search. I called ahead and asked for a rough estimate for what the prices were and was quoted "a little over $100" for a dip set and a gel pedicure. Not too bad of a price considering I paid $105-110 back home. I arrived and the staff were extremely friendly and the salon was clean and very updated looking. Now here was a negative (which to me, I couldn't look past), when paying for a dip set, I would expect that the cuticle removal and shaping is included in the $50-55 price. The gel pedicure is also $50-53 which to me is completely fine but the quality of this very simple nails, just isn't something I felt comfortable paying $115 for. Additionally, I don't believe an extra $15-20 for a 'manicure' should be charged when you're already getting a dip set which makes no sense to charge extra for cuticle removal and cutting/file to keep my already almond shape. Don't think it's the WORST spot around but I definitely won't be going back. read more
