The pedicure was less than ok. The "nail tech" was VERY PUSHY! Some of the files that were used were NOT NEW and packaged. After she used it on me she placed it in her drawer. GROSS When I tried to use a gift card they told me it was expired. Nowhere on the the card is there an expiration date. The manager said it was on the receipt when the gift card was bought. I tried explaining it was a gift and I never received the receipt. The only solution he had was he would give a 20% discount. Woo hoo thanks for nothing. We were visiting the area as we are thinking of moving here, we made appointments for 3pm, walked in around 2:55 took us right away. At about 3:15pm, the lady doing my husband abruptly got up with her things and said she is going to go over and do someone else that walk in. I'm like what just happened. My girl is like oh someone else will come to do him. I'm like but why? She was like someone will be right over, there had been no issue as my husband was sitting right next to me. Anyhow, we said we didn't feel comfortable right now and we were leaving mid pedicure. They begged us to stay and I'm like sorry I'm not even sure what just happened but I'm leaving as no one ever explained to us why she was leaving and no one else had come over to do his pedicure. Do not recommend. First off they told us a 30 minute wait so we said okay they took our names and we came back. We sat and waited to be taken for another 20 minutes. My nails are streaky, he filed them horribly, and there are places on the side of my nails that are missing paint. Finally I have found my new nail place!! I got a deluxe spa pedicure and it lasted at least an hour. My legs and feet were left soft and smooth and not overly moisturized and greasy. I would have given 3.5 stars just because I had a few bad experiences with them, but the reason I gave them a 4 is because they made up for the bad experiences. They are the closest nail salon to my house that I like. The first time I went I was happy and I made an appointment and brought my mom back. The second time I went there for my appointment I had a new technician, and it took her an hour and a half to do an acrylic fill, not only did she waste my time the outcome was TERRIBLE. I paid and went home very upset and just furious, my nails looked terrible. But the next day I called and spoke to Tim the manager, he was so sweet and so nice and told me to come in and that they will fix it. I re did my nails with Jackie and fell in love with her after the first time. She did my nails at a timely fashion and they looked soooo good. There was of course no charge. The next day Tim called to check up on me, and he thanked me for giving them a second chance. I have been going there for months now and Jackie does my nails. She is super sweet and nice and does my nails to my liking every time. She is fast, precise, and awesome!. They will get to know you after some time and treat you like a great customer. I'm not one to typically write reviews, but in this case I felt I needed to. I have been going to this nail salon about 2x a month for the past 6 months or so, and I have recently become quite disappointed in their inattentiveness to the customer, as well as, their work. A week and a half ago, I came in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure, and not only did it take over two hours to complete (with only about 5 customers in the salon), but the pedicure was the absolute worst pedicure I've ever had. The polish was sloppy (not fully covering the nail with a striped appearance) and the nail tech used a pink base coat as the top coat. This was quite noticeable considering the polish was a cream color. However, since I've been coming to this salon for a while and had never had a truly negative experience, I chalked it up to being a one time thing. I returned today (just a little over a week later) to have the gel taken off of my hands, and upon entering was asked what I needed done. I told them I only needed the gel taken off and they directed me to sit. I sat there for 30 minutes with out any indication of how much longer I would be waiting. Meanwhile, other customers had come in and were directed to technicians or seated. Upon realizing this, and instead of waiting the entire rest of the afternoon, I let them know that I would be leaving and I would just take the gel off at home. Only then did the nail technician in the front disingenuously apologize for making me wait. I understand that nail salons can become busy places, and that they are not going to move at sonic speed; however, I know most people don't have 2 hours to dedicate to getting their nails done, nor do they want to spend $80 on sub par work. Needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Nail salons are a dime a dozen around here. I would suggest to InStyle that they take a closer look at the treatment of their customers (especially loyal customers), their protocol for accepting customers or informing them of the expected wait, as well as, the quality of their work, before they start losing more customers. read more

Typically will visit for pedicures. Bo takes her time and does a nice job. The new owner is pleasant however I was put off when I learned I paid a extra fee because they used the razor on my heels. This was brought to my attention when I noticed others were paying less for their pedicure than what I had paid....hhhmm that didn't sit well with me I will not be back. read more

I was really looking forward to getting a quick fill and one nail fixed. The manicurist was mildly pleasant initially and then became pushy. First, she asked if I wanted my nails filed down, I said no. She asked three more times as she stated she felt they were too long. After reconsidering, I said ok. Really wasn't a huge deal but if I wanted them filed I'd of said so in the first place. Then to the acrylic powder. She naturally grabs the white powder, I said no this is all pink acrylic and the tips are white acrylic, not gel or polish. So she gets the pink. It's a pretty bright pink, I ask her if she is sure it is not going to be too pink especially with the new nail. She very confidently says yea and shirks off my concern. Well, guess who is right? The customer. Not only is it bright pink, when she tries to dull it with the white acrylic, because, oops now she realizes she screwed up, it still looks dumb. And the ridiculousness continues. She realizes she can't fix the color so now she wants to put gel color over it to "try" to fix it AND she paints my whole nail...I could go on. Let's just say she'd never make it in Cali. I looked up this place based off of positive reviews and of course I get the dunce who is too cocky for her own good. Not impressed. Ah well, new set when I get back home to California. read more

This is the best nail salon in Leesburg. I've been going to this salon since it opened 5-6 years ago and have always gotten great service. When the salon was sold a few months ago, I noticed the new owner, Anna, was always so personable and conversational every time I went in. She had a genuine smile and was so welcoming each time I went in. Like she was glad to see me and she always remembered my name :) Thankfully, my nail tech, Tracy (the best in town, BTW), stayed, so I was happy. I can't believe clients would leave to follow the previous owner to the new place. Really. You can get a good manicure/pedicure anywhere. I think it's a decision between giving your business to a salon that truly appreciates your patronage and one that's just looking to get numbers. Last week, Tracy went home to Vietnam to visit her family and celebrate the Chinese New Year. She told me to book my appointments with the new owner, Anna, in her absence. So, I did. Over the last couple of months, I'd spoken to Anna a few times and knew her son worked there sometimes, too. During my last appointment, I got to know them better. What wonderful people to have in our community. Genuinely kind and appreciative of their clients and a great mani/pedi every single time. I LOVE this place. read more

Love this spot. They are by far the best Nail Salon and Spa in the area. I live in Brambleton and drive here just for the atmosphere, customer service and massage. Everyone is friendly and takes their time with you. I have been to many salons where they rush you out of the chair but they like to get to know you here. Drinks are offered (non-alchoholic)of course. If you are looking for a change, come here and you will not be disappointed. I give them 5 stars because they deserve it. read more

Tried this salon for the first time this past weekend for a girls day and loved it. By far the best one in Leesburg. It is clean and has a great atmosphere. Biggest plus is there paraffin treatment...no sticking your feet in that burning hot stuff...they put it in a bag and put it on your feet!! read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. I went in to get an acrylic french tip set on Saturday the 30th for a business convention I was going to be attending the next day. I was content with the work that day. Nothing to rave about. Well, my right pointer finger nail broke on Monday! I was disappointed, and went back in. They were un phased and fixed my nail. Then, on Wednesday my right ring finger nail came COMPLETELY OFF! Clean off! The whole thing! I was so dismayed. I went in today (Thursday the 4th) and told them I just wanted them to take them off completely, I didn't want to deal with it anymore. They rudely pointed to a chair for me to sit in and a gentleman took them off for me. I expressed that I was so disappointed in the quality of my nails. As I was walking out of the door, the gentleman told me I had to pay $10 for them taking off THEIR terrible quality nails. I objected because I didn't feel I had to pay for their mistakes! Nails should last 3-4 weeks! Not 1! I wasted $50 on the worst nail job I've ever had. We argued and I finally paid the $10. They didn't apologize or anything! THE WORST NAIL SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!! IF YOU WANT QUALITY DO NOT GO HERE! THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH INSTYLE. SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND HEADACHES AND AVOID THIS SALON! I have been a customer for quite some time. Always have a great mani and pedi. I especially appreciate that they allow you to check in on yelp and redeem 10% off your service. I've used this more then once when I've visited. However when I visited today the woman who did my pedicure and checked me out told me that I couldn't use it because it was only for new customers. This is not true. I told her this. Nowhere does it say only for new customers. And I've used the discount more then once before with no problems. This was very disappointing. Something simple they offer customers for checking in and reviewing them on yelp shouldn't be denied. So I checked in and am now updating my review. Not sure I will return now. Customer service is important and clearly that wasn't important today. There are plenty of other nail salons who give good mani and pedis around here so I will take my business somewhere else. read more
