I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. We brought our BMW to Integrity 1st Automotive on Belmont in Lakewood because it was idling rough and showing drivetrain malfunction warnings after rodents had chewed some wiring (which had already been professionally repaired before we arrived). After dropping the car off, communication was very slow and we had to repeatedly call for updates. After a few days, we were told the vehicle needed spark plugs, an ignition coil, and an induction service. When that didn't fix the issue, we were told to replace the turbocharger boost sensor, then the mass air flow sensor. After spending $1,409, the car was still doing the exact same thing as when we brought it in. Near the end of the process, the shop found a hole in the intake tubing and wanted to charge $600 to repair it. While they did agree to split that cost, it added to our frustration because it felt like the real problem was never clearly diagnosed from the start. We were even told to "drive it through the weekend and see if it works," which did not inspire confidence. To make matters worse, when we picked the car up we discovered the windshield washer tubing had been broken off, something that worked fine before the visit. We also noticed new rattling/chattering noises under the hood as if it wasn't properly put back together. At this point, we are left with an unreliable vehicle, a large bill, and the original problem unresolved. This experience did not reflect the level of integrity the company name promises, and we felt frustrated and taken advantage of throughout the process. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and improve diagnostic practices, communication, and quality control so other customers don't have the same experience we did. Lastly, I received an email from the Vice President, Andrew Wheeler, checking in a week after we got our car back. Basically checking in to see how the car was running. I wrote him back a lengthy email listing all that had happened and asking for them to make it right. I never heard back. I also called and left a message. Never heard back. Think twice before taking your car to Integrity 1st in Lakewood. read more

Can't recommend this place enough. My wife's car battery died after we went to another place to have it installed and Integrity 1st Car Pros were nice enough to give her a jumpstart and inspect the battery (which was installed incorrectly by the other shop). Brought my car last minute to have a tire repaired and state inspection. They were able to help me and had me back on the road very quickly.

They take photos of everything they see when diagnosing your car. They suggest things on a level of priority. My check engine light was on, they replaced what they thought was needed-- after paying for the repairs and driving off the lot, that engine light came right back on. It turned out to be an additional coil that needed replacement. They were fair on pricing when it came to bringing it back in and even went the extra mile for me! read more

Integrity 1st stays true to their name! Service here could not be better. They offer a courtesy inspection to see what your vehicle needs, and then they let you know what they found without pressuring you or lying about the severity of issues. Don is extremely sweet and helpful, and he cares about safety and honesty for all his customers. He answered all my questions with kindness and knowledge. Lane seems like an amazing boss and takes care of his workers and clientele alike. This place will not cheat you or hide things. That's what I really appreciate, and that's why I highly recommend it, especially for people who don't know much about cars and are looking for someone to be upfront with them. Went in bc my trunk latch wasn't working. With only a glance, they told me it needed to be replaced and asked for over $500. Took it to another local auto shop, they tightened the bolts (all it ACTUALLY needed done) for just a mere $40. Comical this place has "integrity" in their name. read more

My second time visiting them and again best experience with any car mechanic troubles or help! Don at the front was very helpful and attentive for any questions I had. I got a email/txt of the issues I had and also in order from most critical to least! Also, what is really cool is that I could text Don at the front desk if I had any questions versus having to call which is harder sometimes when you work a lot. Which helps because my check engine light came on and my tire pressure light wouldn't stop turning on. They sent me then a quote for every service from the most critical to the least on the price which was very helpful. I'm so glad I came here again for Assistance with my car troubles. The price was very reasonable for what I needed. I plan on going back to get the other things that I need but the cost was high for those so I have to save up and take my time but the shocks are going to be next and the timing belt. This is the best place in the DFW area to take your car for anything and everything. I took my truck here to get the A/C fixed, my warranty said that Integrity 1st is one of the shops that worked with them. Reese was the one who took care of me and he had his crew search for anything wrong with my truck that could be covered by the warranty. They found a lot of things that could be a problem for me on a long road trip I am going to go on and they were able to get all that covered for me. They also helped me determine which repairs I needed to make for my road trip within my budget and didn't push anything extra or not needed on me. Reese kept me updated and was always in touch. Even when the warranty company tried to get out of paying for certain things, Reese went to bat for me and got them to cover everything needed. I had my car less than 2 months, and drove it 12p0 miles before the check engine light came on. The first shop I took it to didn't know their butthole from their elbow. Upon my first call to Integrity 1st, it was apparent they would not only listen to me, but that they knew what they were talking about. From the get go, they were honest, they were there to help me fix my car. They didn't complain about working with the warranty company and assured me they would do everything they could. They stayed with it, through hiccups with the warranty, diagnosed my car appropriately and did what they could. When additional issues were found, not only did they admit the manufacturers warranty was better, and recommend taking it where it would be covered without a deductible, advised me on the best way to make sure the manufacturer saw the process through.
