They got some bad news from the code enforcement officer that they actually had to put some money into the building, and instead of fixing the building and saving the jobs of all the employees, they decided to fire them and not even give them a full weeks notice or a severance package, Mccarthy prize itself I'll be family, owned and caring about their employees , but actions speak louder than words. as a small business owner myself, I could not imagine doing that to any of our employees. Desi even knew exactly how to get the warning light off the dashboard and had his assistant re-set the lugnuts after a brief test drive around the block. Great value, great service. I wish I lived nearby as I would never use anyone else for service if these were my local people. P. S. They even directed me to a fabulous local bakery for the 45 minutes that all the work took. Came back at 4:30 not done and I'm still sitting in parking lot at 6:30 as they finish up a quick tire swap and skipped alignment. As I had grocery's in the trunk with frozen and dairy items. Thanks to the Mavis Team and great customer service with white lies the milk was no good trashed it, and ice cream melted. But my bar s hot dogs were still good so I won on that I guess. I have bought tires here last year spent around $1800 for my truck tires and they were over inflated and wore out the tires because they were over inflated. The manager said that's common with Ram's. I called BS on that it's the unskilled tech that put them on I bet. How many ram owners have overinflated tire issues on rams? Feel free to answer that one. So here I made an appointment with some tires I scored with 800 miles on them because I was hoping to get 2 years out of a set of $1800 tires and alignment I had done last year. Was told a couple white lies while I waited. I'm sure they kept pushing my truck to the bottom because the sale ticket wasn't $1000 or more. I guess it's time to go back to Firestone in scotia or maybe try Monro or Walmart down the street. Seeing how I have bought lots of tires from this facility over the years and they couldn't do my truck as was scheduled by Austin. Very Poor customer service and poor craftsmanship because this set of tires is under inflated. It's such a shame at the lack of good customer service with someone with an appointment. Now if I bought tires there I would have been in and out within an hour or so. But why would I do that? The set I bought last year wore out from being overinflated for 6 months before I realized it. Also do not get the hazard warranty because that's a scam too. I had a nail in my wife's car tire I paid over $1300 for from this place. They said they couldn't plug it the tires had some serious tread life on them. He prorated the tire he said couldn't plug. Tires were $240 dollar tires. My warranty cover like $25 of the tire. Then they got it back with warranty on the new tire. Lol!!!! If that isn't a scam then I don't know what is. Also the receipt I got wasn't the normal Mavis receipt it looked like a printed receipt and the second page had holiday pizza code on the back. If I could give ZERO stars, I would! This place has been an absolute disaster and has cost me more…read morethan $3,919.61 due to their unwillingness to provide appropriate, honest documentation. My vehicle (a 2022 Acadia Denali) was at this facility several times (four times to be exact) beginning March 2023 for the same unresolved issues until September 2023. Considering my vehicle was my only form of transportation, I required a rental car while it was being worked on. GMC has been excellent and willing to reimburse me for the dates my vehicle was at this facility. However, the service department is unwilling to provide accurate documentation of the time my vehicle was there! In one instance, my vehicle was towed to the facility on 7-7 (I have the documentation from the roadside assistance confirming the date of drop off and address) and returned to me on 8-24. The work order given to me during pick-up was wholly incorrect and dated from 8/07 to 8/18! GMC can only reimburse me for the dates on the work order and has requested that the facility provide ACCURATE documentation outlining the entire dates my vehicle was at the facility. GMC customer service has reached out several times in the last months. I have personally reached out as well, and they are entirely UNWILLING to provide accurate documentation despite acknowledging my vehicle was there from 7-7 to 8-24! I have called the facility multiple times and spoken with the service manager, but I have yet to get anywhere. Not only does the service manager state he will 'work on it' and does not, but he has yet to call me back once. The service manager will rush me off the phone and dismiss me. I have had to call multiple times only to get him on the phone to say he will 'look into it' or 'talk to someone,' etc.. yet there has yet to be a callback. Additionally, he responds that although he spoke to Joel, who agreed and acknowledged that the vehicle was there for those dates, there is 'nothing he can do.' The total amount I had to pay out of pocket in rental fees was $6,797.45, while the service department could not fix the vehicle several times. My rental cost for the dates my vehicle was at the facility (7-7 to 8-24) that the facility refuses to acknowledge total $3,919.61. Because the service department refuses to supply the proper and TRUTHFUL documentation confirming the dates my vehicle was there, I cannot collect my owed rental reimbursements from GMC. Again, GMC is more than willing to reimburse me for the cost of my rental; the only issue is the service department's unwillingness to provide accurate and appropriate documentation. I am beyond disgusted with this place.

Within minutes someone is helping you and offering you A place to sit while you wait or a cup of coffee and including you in what is happening with your vehicle! Kudos to Paul at the window and Doug answering the phone in the service department answering my many questions with patience! The owner walks by gives you a smile you can see it is a dealership where people care and family environment ! Although I am not sure that the issue is fixed with my vehicle I get a sense that it is an open door return as needed no problem to call back dealership! The guys are fun to joke with and there is plenty of laughing as you conduct your business with gable auto! I am pleasantly surprised because many people said not to shop at gable but instead travel the hour to go into Albany, but I really wanted to give a local business my support!
