Although I originally asked for just washing windows and two skylights, I ended up having him pressure wash the entire exterior, squeegee the windows and skylights, as well as clean the interior of the garage. He showed up on time and was very professional, and he clearly took pride in his work. He went above and beyond, clearing off the front and back hardscape and redwood deck in addition to getting all the cobwebs from under the eaves and other places I couldn't ever reach. The walls and windows were spotless, and he even cleaned out the edges of the casement windows and the grimy sliding door and window tracks. In the garage, he did a fantastic job on cleaning the wooden rafters. He had to sweep the floor to clean up all the leaves, dust and random pieces of junk that had accumulated over the years, then he pressure washed it. It's just that we wanted weeding and trimming which the previous company didn't do. They only did mowing and edging. The agreement in writing with Las Palmas was to mow, edge, weed and trim all lower bushes/plants. The lawn care was good, the weeding and trimming was almost nonexistant. I figured each week they'd probably get to it, but didn't. I caught the worker while he was here today and pointed out what wasn't getting done. He said ok, but then left. I called Marcos, the owner, and asked that he come by so I could show him. His first response was to say he wanted to quit because he couldn't satisfy me. I'm thinking WTF? This is the first time I've said anything to them and I was just asking him to do what he had contracted to do. I told him I didn't want him to quit, just to do the weeding,etc. He said he'd rather quit. I'm kind of shocked by his response to be honest.
