My husband and I had Tom come give an estimate for a very large sliding driveway gate. We really couldn't afford a gate, but were in desperate need of one. Our gate, which separated our backyard and the alley (in Pacific Beach) broke, so we had no choice but replace it. Tom came and spent at least an hour going over several different gate options. He was willing to work with us and our budget. He provided lots of ways for us to save money- even though it probably made the job a little more frustrating for him! We were planning on getting several different estimates, but after meeting with him, both my husband and I agreed he was an honest and trustworthy guy and neither of us felt we would find a better price for the quality of work we had seen on his website. We were so happy with how our gate and fence turned out. The quality is outstanding and we have received so many positive comments from the neighbors. Tom was so easygoing and offered so many great ideas about not only the fence but other projects we have going on around the house. His attention to detail was incredible (because of our uneven concrete driveway he had to make the gate one inch taller on one side so that when shut the boards would align correctly) The pictures do not do it justice, but I wanted to at least post something with this review.
