I was in the area picking up my car from the shop and figured it was a good afternoon to explore! I opted for the red flight (though the white flight was intriguing as well!) My first pour was the 2022 Sangiovese. It was a lighter, fun glass that I very much enjoyed. This is the glass I'd spend an evening on my balcony, feet up, book in hand on a cool/comfortable evening. 2023 Barbera was my next pour- on the nose reminded me of red hots (don't judge me... my nose/palate takes on a unique form of "No Hopes" in the Cork Dork world. ;-) Also another really enjoyable red. I then moved to the 2023 Vino Rosso, which was a beautiblend of Italian varietals and an aromatic burst of cherries on the nose. 2023 Montepulciano would go nicely with meatballs and a hearty red sauce)... I haven't had dinner yet! (Or even a sausage pizza if it's not a cooking evening but still want to class it up!) I finished with the 2020 Petite Sirah and I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying the white flight. Definitely would recommend checking out Intercoastal. Rachele was great! Super friendly, had a ton going on but didn't rush providing you knowledge of your pours. See you again soon!

My best friend and I love to go wine tasting every few months, we both absolutely love sparkling wines! However finding wineries in Lodi who offer one or dare I say more is a challenge. We had Intercoastal Vineyards on our list, but once we found out one of our favorite vintners was now here, we knew it was the next one up. The winery has a fun feel with plenty of seating outside as well as inside, a small area towards the front selling a wide variety of items (dog friendly toys, seasonal knickknacks, wine accessories and some home decor), with lots of fun & unique award winning wines ready to pour onsite or take home. My best friend and I both tried the Sparkling Blanc De Noirs and Sparkling Rose, Méthode Traditionnelle vs Metodo Italiano! Both contain pinot noir which is my favorite, but both were so different. Flavorful, complex and fun! We got a bottle of Sparkling Blanc De Noirs to enjoy on the patio under the warm sun on an autumn day. It was fun to catch-up and learn some more facts from the vintner, we got to meet the owners of the winery; who are absolutely delightful, and all of the staff was so welcoming. I enjoyed the Blanc De Noirs so much I got another bottle to take home to the family for our Christmas party. My only tip; and I wish I knew this sooner, they have a charcuterie board that you can order! We will for sure be back to check that out for another fun day under the sun, sipping bubbles and making memories

This was my most favorite of all the wineries !! The flight was wonderful, and the Sommelier was so knowledgeable! I bought two bottles of wine! Try it all, you won't be disappointed!

You guys. I'm local. I belong to four wine clubs in lodi alone. I'm not a sommelier or anything. But EVERY WINE at intercoastal smells delicious and holds up to that scent in the taste. I first tried it at the visitor center and eventually I stopped by to try other wines (I love a Malbec and I liked theirs). I became a member immediately. I'm a red girl and today I had their white cinsault I bought a bottle. It is so delicious. Rachele knows what she's doing and everything is so effing delicious. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You will not be disappointed.

This was our last stop on a full wine tasting day- Owner was there & answered tons of questions, obviously really passionate about their wines, farms & production. Spacious areas to sit outside, a few spots inside near a faux fire heater which was nice after sunset. Everything was super clean. Wines were good & we bought some whites for home. Prices in Lodi are so good for wine! There's a big grassy area w cornhole - unfortunately there were some families being disruptive, kicking a soccer ball & kids running into parking lot or near main road. owner apologized to other guests profusely & asked the parents to please manage their children multiple times. So anyways for now it's a lovely place to taste wine, bring picnic food, kids & dogs. If kids ever get banned you'll know why! Anyways we can see why our local friends enjoy this. Worth return visit in the future to taste more variety

Amazing day to spend outside in Lodi wine country. Went here for the Maine Lonster Rolls but also enjoyed their wine. We will definitely return to this gem. The service was above, and beyond so friendly and helpful.

Canned wine, which is delicious! The bubbly rose was so good.

It's always a wonderful time here. First you're greeted from the staff and if the weather permits, it's always nice to enjoy their outdoor seating. We are regulars here for a reason.

Thank you Amy for the customer service and checking on us to see if we wanted to try anything else... The wine maker, Mitch made home made chili that paired nicely with his Merlot!

Enjoying great wine & great company. Sparkling rosé for the win!

No more gatekeeping this gem! Intercoastal was my first winery membership after moving to the Central Valley and for good reason. The wine (most important), the service (2nd most important), the venue, the events and the people they attract. If you have not been here, please add it to your itinerary. You will not be disappointed!

We were quickly greeted by the friendly female hostess who offered us either indoor or outdoor seating. We chose to sit indoors to enjoy our tastings of both whites & reds . Normally I prefer reds however in the summer I enjoy a crisp Sauvangion Blanc or even a nice Rose. If you purchase a bottle your tasting fee is waived which is always a great deal. We enjoyed ourselves so much we returned for the Alpine Block party event which included tastings at Stonum Vineyards and two other nearby wineries. This fun filled evening included live music, food trucks, and the Lodi Wine trolley shuttling you back & forth between the wineries. Definitely a good time! I highly recommend Stonum Vineyards & Tasting Room for great wine, friendly service and well coordinated, entertaining events.

I had driven by many times and it seemed like an appointment only place but I guess now they have enough staffing to open up the hours and days of the week. First, their reputation has always been very good. They've had some recognition from some reputable wine sources so I had very high expectations for the wine. In, short, the wines were very good. They had a nice selection from rose to the more Lodi styled red wines. I really did enjoy all the wines and the price point seems fair. I guess I was kinda hoping to meet the winemaker, learn more about their vineyards and purpose for growing certain varietals. When you get wine with a story it makes the experience that much more enjoyable. I really like this place and I'm hoping to make a stronger connection with the business since I consider myself an advocate for Lodi wines since my hobby is to compare our wines with the best out in the other regions of CA. Pretty heavy competition but so far Lodi is more than able to compete with certain types of wines aka Zinfandel, Tempranillo, Syrah and occasionally Cabernet.

She's welcoming, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable, but never overwhelming. Instead, she creates a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer and come back again. What really sets her apart is her consistency. It's not just one great visit--every time we've been there, she's gone above and beyond with the same positive energy and attention to detail. Because of her, this winery has become our go-to spot. I even celebrated my 50th birthday here, and it was such a memorable experience. All of my guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing Rachelle was--everyone felt taken care of, comfortable, and truly impressed with the service. The winery itself is beautiful, accommodating, and perfect for gatherings, which made the celebration even better. On top of that, the entire team at Calivirgin is fantastic. Everyone we've interacted with has been friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience. The wine is excellent, the setting is great, and the people are what truly make this place stand out for us. We'll absolutely keep coming back, and a big reason for that is Rachelle.

The grounds, buildings and tasting room are beautiful, a sophisticated rustic cabin appeal with manicured landscaping and a craftsman style main building. We stood at the main tasting bar to try four wines. The Chardonnay and especially fhe old vine Zinfandel stood out as excellent to us and we ended up getting some bottles. As there weren't many folks doing a tasting on a weekday we got VIP treatment and had a deljghtful conversation, and education about the wines, from the person pouring for us. We really enjoyed our stay and the surroundings made it extra nice. Compared to the hype of Napa and Sonoma this winery and others in the Lodi area are down to earth and affordable in comparison, especially for tastings. This place very much is worth a visit.
