This job was contracted to be performed at my location and to commence the morning of 6-12. Mr. Staples did not show up nor return numerous calls. The contract was broken. After repeated attempts to contact Mr. Staples and leaving messages that went without response, he commenced the job on 6-26 two weeks late and without the materials needed. Neither the headliner nor seat panel materials were a match. There was no top, nor seat belts. At that time I was informed he would not be fixing the seat belts nor the run channel. No proof of any parts having been ordered was provided. The locally sourced headliner material was gray instead of the light tan needed. The seat panel was also not a match. The Despite the mismatched material, I allowed the seat panel work to be done. It was unsatisfactory and will have to be redone. Red thread instead of grey was used and is visible. The material used is stained and appears to have been an old used scrap. The damages he made corrected. The seams, seat bottom adjoining side panels are now obviously wrinkled due to a botched job of sewing with edges showing and what were bolstered areas flattened and misshapen. Mr. Staples offered to fix this by stuffing old rags under the material. When Mr. Staples removed a sun visor on the Jaguar he damaged one part and lost another. Days of searching have confirmed both parts are no longer produced nor available. Michael Andre Staples created more damage in both vehicles than existed on 6-10 and now refuses to return my money or even calls. He appears to have closed his Facebook shop.
