Had a squeaking belt, issue was quickly identified and repairs made. Very friendly and great conversation, very fair price as well.

I went in last week to get my muffler bracket fixed. I was told it needed a weld and was 25 bucks so approximately 1 week later it is broke again I am told they don't guarantee "minor" repairs!?!? WHAT? I asked for the bracket to be fixed no one said it was going to be a minor repair. Wouldn't recommend, extremely disappointing. read more

Have used them a few times with the same issue replacing the Catalytic Converter on my 2009 Hyundai. Each time Riley calmly and carefully checked out the converter to give me a diagnosis. He replaced the converter and only charged labor because the aftermarket converter was still under warranty. It happened again less than 2 years later and Riley honored his work and changed the converter with only labor costs which was very reasonable. His words were "we want to make this right". So hopefully this will be the last converter I have to replace but have heard aftermarket converters even with a warranty have issues. I highly recommend these guys and will use them again with any other exhaust issues. I live in Evergreen so it is a distance to travel but worth it. My car's A/C fan broke and punctured my radiator around midday yesterday, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. Fortunately, I found Intermountain Radiator & Muffler only about a block away. The manager walked to my car, diagnosed the problem, and said they could have it fixed by the end of the day. They kept their promise even though they had to work late to get it done, and they did it for a very reasonable price. I'm very thankful and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Pulled in to the shop to see why I have a check engine on, a very calm and polite man behind the counter took the keys and brought car in. After few minutes I was informed that the problem is in a unit that they unfortunately don't work on (old British car), but was glad to give some referrals who could possibly fix that as well as made a call to another mechanic on my behalf. Had an issue with my radiator, radiator fan, and thermostat. Big issue actually...the radiator popped while i was driving and my car stopped working. Bad day. Anyway my insurance company's roadside gave me a free tow - to their preferred place...Pepboys. They wanted way to much for both parts and labor so i did a little research before finding Intermountain. The place is amazing. Great, fair prices along with outstanding knowledge of what they are doing. Fixed it in one day and showed me all the parts they swapped out and what was wrong with them. I felt like I took a free auto course by the time I left. By far the place in Denver to go to for anything exhaust or radiator related. Saved about 600 dollars vs pepboys and feel like the quality of the work was far superior given the overflowing knowledge base that the staff has. read more

FAST, FRIENDLY, and BEST PRICES! I was looking for a muffler for my Jeep. I called around the Denver area to get a feel for prices. Riley quoted me WAY BELOW any of the other shops in Denver. Riley was awesome! I had my car parked outside of a coffee shop right by his place and when I went to start it, it wouldn't start. I wandered around looking for jumper cables and found him, in his office on his day off, luckily. He came and tried to jump my car but it wouldn't jump. After trying and trying we finally rolled my car to his parking lot so I could get it out of 2 hour parking. He charged my battery over night, but that didn't seem to be the problem. He and his mechanic looked at it and figured out it was the starter and they replaced it and it works now! He was very very generous and helpful and nice. He even offered to give me a loaner car to drive home in. Great guy and business! read more

Took my car in after the radiator had overflowed for no apparent reason. Had another mechanic "look" at it and tell me all of the things it could be (which I knew it wasn't) and send me on my way with a "keep an eye on it". These guys got me in right away, checked the pressure, and found out it was the cap. Only took them a few minutes when everyone else said it was going to take hours to diagnose. This is an incredible place to come and get your car serviced. The shop does not take appointments, so it is first come first serve at the time of arrival. They gave me a quote over the phone that was fairly close to the final bill. Riley, the owner is an incredibly nice guy and since there was problems with the internet lines, he was willing for me to leave and go get cash without leaving behind my wallet or credit card. They stated it would take an hour to work on the car and they were done one time. Now the car runs great. I would go back there again. read more

Can't recommend this shop enough. In a time when it seems like you need a second mortgage just to have a mechanic look at your car let alone fix it, I lucked into Intermountain Radiator & Muffler. My regular mechanic had tried to diagnose a loss of power issue with my truck when towing my camper uphill and was confident that it was clogged catalytic converters that should be replaced. Based on their proximity to my home and positive Yelp reviews I brought my truck in to Intermountain to have the work done. After explaining the symptoms the truck was having and my mechanic's suggestion to replace the cats, the owner Riley told me he would run some diagnostics and check things out first before having me spend money on new cats which may not be necessary. In less than 30 minutes he had things tested and it looked like the cats were fine. He only charged me a minimal diagnostic fee when he could have easily just done the work I had requested and banked the full price I was already expecting.
