cavewife ask neanderthal if he want to play in pool, and of course neanderthal say yes because it was hunnerd degrees outside. show up to international billiars for to play in pool, bathing suit and towel and everything, and not even any water haha. joke on me, thought meant swimming pool. internatchunal have probably 15 or 20 tables, and cost like 9 or 10 dollar per hour. but saw sign for happy hour during week that is much cheap. also sell beer. neanderthal love beer. and neanderthal love modern man pool. neanderthal love international billards. people who work here also very nice. crowd is interest mix of young people who not old enough to go to bars, and old people who want something different from bars, and everything in between. music was mix between staple kroq music (sublime, etc) and contemporarily hippo hop (kendrick llama, dr. drake, etc). very fun, neanderthal recommend, maybe you see me here next time and find out neanderthal is not just human but also shark! Very cool spot for playing pool and drinking on a budget. It's located right off the freeway, and there was plenty of parking (came on a Wednesday night). The lady that works there is very hospitable and there are a ton of tables. I saw some classic arcade games there as well, so if you go with a group of friends and there's someone in the group that isn't into pool, there are alternatives. This is definitely my go to place to play pool and the staff is pretty friendly. It can get a little packed on Fridays and the weekends but it was never really a problem with me. They play music but sometimes the songs get a little weird. This is a great place for a date since there's an in n out across from the street and also a bowling ally if you decide to dip on playong pool. read more

I love this place! If the pool hall on campus is closed, I always come here. I love that they're open late and it's very spacious in there. I love the owner, he is one of the sweetest people I've met and I've come so often that he remembers me now! His daughter and the workers here are all so friendly and I love the music they play. Cheap pool and a chill atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and I love getting the BBQ chicken wings to snack on while I'm hanging out with my friends here. Their beer selection is good too. Make sure that you check the rates before you play pool here! The sign says $3.50 but Billiards charges whatever they want. They also will hold your drivers license until you pay their exorbitant fees. This is a low life seedy establishment and are not upfront with their charges! read more

My boyfriend and I were driving around Westminster this afternoon when he suggested that we go shoot some pool at a place he knows called Family Billiards. I don't know how to play pool, so I wasn't really interested, but my boyfriend said he would teach me how, so I said okay. We found the place, which is actually called International Billiards. This place is pretty spacious and attracts both older and younger people (not very family-friendly environment, though - a little dark and not too clean). We were there during their 12-5 happy hour, during which beers are $2 and pool is $3.50/hr. That's a pretty good deal! My boyfriend got a beer, and we got a pool table. It wasn't too busy at that time, so I got to showcase my beginner pool skills in front of not too many other strangers. You know you obviously look lost when a random stranger comes over to give you tips on how to improve. This one older man gave me some additional instruction on top of what my boyfriend was already showing me. It was nice of him, but a little embarrassing for me. In the end, though, I got the hang of it! I'm definitely not any pool prodigy, but I was able to put a few balls in the holes! It was kind of fun playing pool here today :) read more

The place is rundown, sticks in dire need of replacement, tables decent but need work, and small beer selection. The beer prices are great though and they actually allow metal Hans to be played. They just got new balls and new felt on half their tables yesterday. It's so smooth! Some brand new house cues as well. Happy hour 12-5p is still the same price at $3.50/hr but night time price ranges from $7 to $9 I believe. read more

this place is ok...it's pretty laid back. they have a lot of tables which is good and the place doesn't get super packed. they play their own music which varies but they do have a jukebox if you feel like putting in your own music. the owner here is very welcoming. last time we were there, he came out and introduced himself and welcomed us. read more
