Went this morning and bought a ham & cheese jalapeño croissant and an old fashion donut. Charged me $8 and so ok, gave him a $10 and practically almost threw my change on the counter. That was rude but I thought oh well fine. Waited for my order then he put my donut in one bag and the ham and cheese jalapeño in the other and he also gave me a plastic bag and pushed it towards me on the counter "here you go" And so I grabbed the bag and asked him, am I supposed to bag this myself? He said yes and I just looked at him and then he changed his mind, he said I'll do it. I said never mind I'll do it but will never come back here again and his response is "sure" Forgot to mention, the donut looks old and the ham and jalapeño cheese didn't look good either. read more

A neighborhood donut shop cuz apparently there seems to only be 2 in this city which I need to do another search on as the one we normally go to was closed for the day. I like to support local businesses but I would not go background this place again. Husband is really nice but the lady works there is very unfriendly. I ordered 2 dz + 2 custard. They gave me 10 in one box and charged me separate for custard. I told her she has to give me 12 for 1 dz and charge me separate for 2 custard. She didn't understand simple math... I'm sad to say this place was super disappointing. An entire half of the display wasn't even stocked. There were only about 5 types of donuts to choose from and they were just the basic ones. Regular, a couple of glazed and sugars, and a few chocolates. That was literally all they had. There was barely enough for a half dozen, which is what we got. Then once we ate them we realized we made a huge mistake because they were old and tasteless. Even if they were just about to restock or a little behind that morning, the owner shouldn't have let us buy those old nasty donuts. This place was such a bummer I'm definitely not going back. These donuts are so good! I've been coming here for years....and by years, I mean over a decade! Tried other places near by, but am always drawn back. I usually stick to my favorite, the sugar twist, but have tried almost every donut available. The donuts here are super fluffy, soft, and chewy. My parents chat with the owners often and have told me how hard working they are, as many people are, even through the pandemic. Please stop by to support a mom and pop shop if you get the chance!
