This is the 3rd time trying Firehouse Subs and sadly I won't be returning. For the high price and low amount of food/meet it's not worth it. I was wanting more taste. My wife always only eats half of her food because she gets full easily and she easily finished her whole "medium" sandwhich in 5 minutes. I was done faster. Almost $30 for 2 sandwhiches with no drinks and no chips is a bit crazy. Then they ask you for a tip, and as well twice on the payment card machine. First time visiting and really enjoyed it! Placed my order in store and like the firehouse decorations - down to the Dalmatian print tables! Staff was friendly, wait was minimal, food tasted good. Took advantage of a BOGO incentive (great marketing to gain a new customer!) and ordered the new chicken parm meatball sandwhich. It was priced very well at under $10. I really enjoyed this sandwich. The flavor was great, although I wanted a tad bit more of that flavor coming from the sauce. It's rough though because more sauce would've led to a messy sandwhich with soggy bread. I appreciated it not being a sloppy eating experience but maybe just a tab more sauce. I'll definitely be back to try this sandwich again, as well as others. read more

I am loyal to Firehouse Subs. I've been using the app to order. This location is horrible when it comes to making your food timely. The last 4 times, they have kept me waiting for long periods of time. For example, my last visit, I used the app to order and it gave me a pickup time of 4:45pm, which gave them 15 minutes to prepare one sandwich. I arrived promptly at 4:45 and my one sandwich was not at the pickup spot. I asked a worker, and he simply said I'm working on it. I am one of 4 people in the entire place and the other 3 look annoyed with the wait. Finally, 20 minutes after the promised time, they don't say a word and put my sandwich in the pick up area. Definitely lives up to the hype. The staff was friendly and professional. Customer satisfied 100%. Takes a bit of time to make but definitely worth the wait. The restaurant was clean and very well lit. I ordered the Beef and Cheddar Brisket. The cheese melted with the mayo and BBQ sauce was the perfect amount when biting into it. Restrooms - out of seat covers, paper towels, and soap!! Walk out and see the napkin dispenser was completely empty. Order an Italian sandwich - I ordered a small. Had no idea it would be a micro mini sandwich only as big as a credit card for $7!!!! They call me to pick up my sandwich and ask them for napkins, since their dispenser is empty, and I get a dirty look from the employee who says, "is this enough?" Not sure if the owner knows that this place is run poorly. First off how is you only have 2 people working on a Saturday. The staff also takes 30 minutes to make one sandwich. Either the owner doesn't know or just doesn't care what kind of staff he hires. That or the manager in charge of this job is not present and does not train his staff. Not surprised this place has less than 3.5 stars, I placed an order on 11/23 at 435pm for 1 large sandwich, a small sandwich and a Mac n cheese. My husband gets there at 04:55pm, only 1 customer was there and the girl working said she didn't start our order yet. Our food was done 15-20 min later but they never gave us the Mac n cheese. We checked the bag right when he got back to the car, he goes back inside, they're getting it ready. Located in the same parking lot as Aldi and Chase bank, I have passed by this sandwich shop many times and never tried it. We finally had the chance to stop by this evening for a quick bite while running errands in the area. The front of the store was nice and clean, I placed my order and I liked that they had all the customizations for the sandwiches posted right next to the register so you don't have to keep looking up at the menu board to see what toppings they had. We ordered 3 medium Italian subs, but since there were only 2 workers in the front and they were very short handed so we waited a little for our food. However, my experience today was beyond disappointing and has left me questioning the service quality and the current tip culture that's becoming unreasonable. Today, I decided to order takeout instead of dining in. While paying, I opted not to leave a tip, as I believe tipping for a simple takeout order should be optional. Unfortunately, the staff's response was shocking and unprofessional. After placing my order, I waited patiently. To my dismay, I noticed "ALL" customers who ordered after me receiving their food promptly, while I was still waiting I was there . I finally approached the staff to ask about my order ( at this moment, no one in line and most ppl are gone) only to be met with indifference and a dismissive, "It's coming." When my food was handed over, it was clear it had been sitting out for a long time. The sandwich was cold, the ingredients were messily thrown together, and the presentation was appalling. The staff didn't even look at me or offer an apology. It felt as though my decision not to tip was taken personally and resulted in deliberate neglect. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and a poor reflection of the establishment's operation and staff professionalism. Customers should never feel punished or mistreated based on tipping preferences, especially for takeout orders. Additionally, the growing expectation to tip for every service, regardless of the effort or context, is becoming excessive and unfair. Tipping should reward excellent service--not act as a prerequisite for basic decency or promptness. I am sharing this experience to highlight not just the poor service I encountered but also to voice concerns about the unreasonable tipping culture that is affecting both businesses and customers. I ordered the medium meatball and I was asking the cashier if they could put extra extra banana peppers on it along with pepperonis.
