FIRST TAKE: Excellent service from the time I called, to working with sales person, Andrew H. Great…read morecar, and they gave me a great price! Looking forward to picking it up! EDIT: I must change my review, reluctantly, due to my experience actually BUYING the car. Once you are sold on it, it seems the sales courtship honeymoon fades quickly. I was a assured a 3 yr 36K mile bumper to bumper warranty on this certified vehicle, only to have this company reneg and try to sell me a Honda plan 10% of the negotiated price. This statement was made in front of a witness. Andrew H, when questioned on this, seemingly went into a rehearsed rebuttal of never making that claim. As a limited income person, I didnt have the luxury of fighting at that moment. It was apparently fruitless with cronyism abound. Commonplace unethical sales: bait and switch. I am either naive or the world is just so untrustworthy you need to record every encounter when money is involved. Went through with the sale because I needed the car, planning on seeking a righteous conclusion to the sales persons blatant lie, only to, so far, have recieved a topped off gas tank "to make up for the misunderstanding." The tank holds $20 in fuel. It was another slap in the face. I will retract this if it is made right by the dealer, or will seek out help from Consumer Protections. Balls in their court. I am a fair person. This is compounded by: * $140 charge for a spare key * Loose indicator light, front driver's side, that was "going to be looked into," only to recieve the answer at the time of purchase that, "it would raise the cost of the vehicle." * Claim that an oil change was performed upon them recieving the car, only to find that it had 70% oil life left in a car requiring an oil change every 7K miles. * Despite notification of me picking the car up and asking for the car to be ready, I came with cash in hand, and it was not ready. After a long wait, they presented to me the car with a rushed detail job, and two missing floor mats. While I do like the car, what I was ACTAULLY given at time of purchase was NOT what the sales person or dealership sold me. * If I would have brought a cashier's check from US Bank, not some obscure institution, I would have had to wait to pick up my vehicle, per thier "financial office." This forced me to withdraw a LARGE sum of cash requiring "security assistance" from a friend with a CCW license to ensure I transported the money safely.

All and all it was a pretty crappy experience; especially if you're not from Sheboygan Area. (And…read moreI'm not from this area!) They made me pay in full for a replacement key fob, with the key insert, then after holding my car for 9 hours (without any status call, I had to drive up to ask bc they wouldn't return calls or texts), said they didn't have the insert. They promised to send it by mail with a tracking number. They lied about that too. I now have to dispute my credit card to get reimbruses. I absolutely have to have the emergency key. Service was awful. There's no on-site manager. Very dysfunctional staff. I'm going back to Sommers even thoug it's 46 minutes away.

Our trusty little 2008 Honda Civic gave us 190,000 trouble free miles; but it was time to get…read moresomething new. We researched cars till we were blue in the face. We decided we wanted a Subaru Forester. My brother in law told us there was no way a dealership would let us take out a new car in this day and age. My wife called International Subaru to make an appointment for a test drive. At our arrival we were greeted by Sage, who had everything set up. You know that show House Hunters, well we felt kind of like that. We had first looked at another Civic, just for old times sake. It was affordable, but didn't quite have the features we were looking for. Our first test that day was a 2020 Forester. It was a very nice car. Pretty much everything we could hope for. Then we tried a 2021 Outback. Oh, my beating heart. This was it! Time to negotiate. My wife had the idea to fix up the dings on the Honda and sell it. Then came Joe, the manager to dicker. Got our trade in up another thousand dollars. That made fixing up our old car a moot point. Buying a new car is up there with going to the dentist to put one in a mood. But Sage was very nice and handled all our questions and concerns. We overspent our budget by 10%; but we got a really nice car. Did we need a moon roof, a 11.5 inch computer screen, navigation, and the other bells and whistles. No, we did not; but they're really really nice. My wife, who tends to anthromorphize inanimate objects got really sad leaving "Bossy" on the lot. But now she loves "XenaLucy" (I got to name my Sportster; but not the cars). Not too long after we got our new car, we got a call for a touch screen upgrade. The service guy had a problem with communicating with woman. But that's his problem. At 6,000 miles, we went in for our first oil change and tire rotation. This time the guy we dealt with was super nice. In and out in 20 minutes. I know shopping for a new car can be a pain in the you-know-what. But our experience at International was pleasant enough. We ended up with a very nice and super safe automobile that will go anywhere we want it to. Sweet!
