Been going there for years, for truck and camp trailer batteries, so it was my first stop before going to a retail chain for a trolling motor battery. Josh listened to what my needs were, and set me up with a 12v that would do what I needed without overkill and would also serve as a backup trailer battery to extend my stays. Win-Win! We arrived to have our batteries checked. There was no one in the lobby, so walked in the warehouse where there were 4 guys doing nothing who then proceeded to tell us to get out of the warehouse when we were just trying to get helped. The guy who eventually helped us was cold, very unfriendly and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him.. even when there were no cars or anything being worked on in the whole place. I didn't feel good about buying anything from him so called a competitor that was much nicer and $40 less per auto battery with installation. read more

I went to Allstate Within 40 minutes, Josh tested the old battery , installed a new one, and I was on my way. I watched as he removed all the tricky littler clamps , nuts and bolts required for the change. On 2/28/19 I purchased a NOCO Genius G15000 battery charger at this store. As the salesman was showing me the various charger models, I noticed that one listed at $99.95 on the shelf label had a paper price tag showing "$90.00" attached to it. As the salesman was talking to me, he tried to scrape off the $90.00 price tag. The G15000 wasn't on display, so the salesman had to go out into the warehouse to find one for me. He told me the price was $189.95, but the package had a price tag showing $160.00 attached to it. When I asked about it, the salesman told me that the $160.00 price was from the home show the previous weekend, and that he couldn't honor it. If I didn't desperately need the charger, I would have left the store without it. At the very least, this is a case of sloppiness (i.e., someone forgot to scrape off the home show price tags), or at worst - dishonesty (the salesman knew he should sell it to me at the marked price, but didn't). The bottom line is that the salesman should have realized the mistake that was made by leaving the home show pricing on the battery charger packages, and honored the price. My wife called the store the same day regarding this issue. She left a message for the manager, who was not in. We never received a call back. She also called the Interstate corporate office - the person we talked to said she would relay a message to the owner of the store, but we never heard back from that contact either. I sent a letter to the store on 3/22/19, but again - not even the courtesy of a response. I know that this is somewhat of a one-off situation, but I was obviously hoping that the store would make this transaction right by charging me the home show price. In the end, not even a quick note or call to let me know that wasn't going to happen? Wow . . . pretty lame. This was a very disappointing customer service experience. We've purchased a few items from the Interstate store over the years, but we won't be back. read more

Interstate battery sold us an inappropriate replacement battery (we brought the old one in with us), and it turned out to be a defective battery as well. They were not willing to do anything to compensate us for All of the labor that we had to pay for an independent mechanic To diagnose the problem. We brought the battery back in three months after having purchased it because we were having trouble with it and they assured us it was not the battery problem. But it really was. read more

Last week my battery started failing and I knew I would have to replace it. So I went to my dealership first and the battery was $240. I called Costco and it was $190 but they dont install there. So yesterday i called interstate battery and the price was $225 installed. They had the battery in Grants Pass and said theyd have it to the Medford store in the morning. When I got there today it was packed- like 6 customers outside being waited on. I expected a wait, but I got service immediately. All the staff was super nice to me- he let me watch how to take the cowling off and which bolts Id have to remove to learn how to do it myself. The battery has a 6 year warranty and everything went smooth. My experience here was really good. I have bought batteries here before and have always had great service. I would come here again for any battery needs, big or small. read more

Needed a new battery, got one from the specialists - and right here in CP, too! Service was quick and professional, delivering the best value Hands Down! Only reason I didn't give em 5 stars is they open at 8am and close at 5pm, so us workin folk need to break away from work to get the work done. I didn't leave the negative cable losses on the install of nice interstate battery...wife is a traveling therapist...negative cable left loose..? Well it popped off and triggered all kinds of Waring lights..check engine..traction control..etc...New Bluetooth was set to loud I guess..stop yelling at me, Jason said...I'm not I explained...his attitude went sour on me. John was the person who helped us get the battery we needed and told us they would honor our warranty, despite the fact that we didn't get it there. I went there to have my car battery swapped out and walked away with a new battery for my quad, watch, and even a battery for my dogs bark collar!! Great staff.....
