My insurance does business with them. They told me my car was ready after a couple days. Had to go back twice for tire pressure issues and alignment. Spent too many hours on stuff that should've been taken care of before telling me that my car was ready. I get mistakes happen but making me wait on the back end is not okay. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received here. I have a scratch on my drivers side rear door that I needed repaired. I brought my car in to get an estimate of what it would cost to fix this, and they refused to look at it because they did not have an "assignment" from Geico. I contacted Geico, but could not get whatever I needed to get an estimate. Interstate refused to have someone even look at my car and take pictures to save me another trip to get the estimate. They also couldn't schedule me for an official appointment for at least a week to get an estimate. If it's this difficult just to get an estimate on what the repairs would cost, I can't imagine how tough it would be to actually get the repairs done. I've been to other body shops and gotten estimates easily. After reading the five star reviews I had higher expectations for customer service, but they just refused to be helpful. The service sucks never take your car there. My car was brought to them from my insurance company. Worst mistake agreeing. They have had my car for over a month had to have them redo it 3 separate times. Found out they used aftermarket parts hence why the parts were not fitting right. And they claimed they were done. And they gave me an estimated time when my car would be done and kept extending the completion of when my car would be ready. Horrible service do better honestly. In June of 2021, they did some body repair work on my car. They estimated when my car would be ready, the work and craftsmanship was detailed and of high quality. My car was at Interstate for almost two weeks. I called the morning that my car was supposed to be ready for pick up, an administrative employee answered and confirmed that my car would be ready by end of the day. Later in the afternoon, I got confirmation that everything was finished and I could get my car. I had to leave work early to get there before they closed. When I went to pick up my car, I paid my deductible, and the administrative employee came outside with me to look at the work that was done. Everything looked good at first (my bumper had to be replaced and the damage to the driver side of my rear was fixed), but then I remembered that my quote and finalized paperwork said that my rear driver wheel was being replaced. I saw that I still had the same wheel on my tire, so they effectively charged me and my insurance company for work that didn't get done by time of pick up and payment. I told this to the administrative employee and she said she would check in with the mechanic and see what happened. We confirmed with the documentation that they provided me that the wheel was supposed to have been replaced. After waiting, she said that "there was a communication error and they forgot to put it on." She said that I would either need to leave the car there for another day so they could finish the work the next day, or leave with the car that day, and come back tomorrow to drop it off and then come back to pick it up. That would have forced me to leave work two more times, and I couldn't afford to do that. So I had them keep my car for another night so that the work could be finished. I told her that if something relatively major wasn't completed when they confirmed that my car was completely fixed, that I now can't fully trust that they completed the work they charged me and my insurance for. My partner and I also had to take additional time from work to go back the next day to pick up my car. The "new" wheel they said they were putting on is a used wheel, so now I need to confirm with my insurance on whether the replacement wheel was supposed to be a new or used part. I also now need to have another mechanic look over Interstate's work to make sure that they weren't scamming me and my insurance company. It's fucked up that if I didn't notice the wheel, I would have driven away with something that was still damaged from an accident that wasn't my fault. And they would have pocketed the money and had a spare wheel for them to charge someone else for. I will do everything I can to not return to this location since that "communication error" has left a bad impression on the trustworthiness of this business. I'm also notifying my insurance company of what transpired so they are aware. Recommendation: ask for the mechanic to review the repair work with you. An administrative employee sealed the finalized paperwork in an envelope and escorted me to my car but was not able to fully explain the work that was completed. I had to open up the envelope, pull out the paper work, and show her that they stated my wheel was replaced. She then had to go confirm with the mechanic. If you are not savvy with cars, bring someone with you who is knowledgeable. read more

They never finished my daughter's car. Have continued to state they don't have the parts in......it has been almost a year!. The repair they did complete was satisfactory but once they received the insurance payment, they completely lost interest. I plan to purchase the remaining parts online (which are currently available) and finish it myself. Would never recommend their service. Very disappointing. read more

Today I had an appointment to get an estimate through Allstate insurance because a lady rear-ended my car. I had the appointment schedule today (July 30) at 11:00am. At 10:01am I received a text as a reminder of my appointment at 11:00am. I arrived at 10:40am for my appointment and was turned away because 1) I wasn't on the schedule when it fact I was and 2) there was a family emergency apparently and I was never informed via phone or text. I travelled 45 minutes to Interstate Auto Rebuilders for my estimate and another 45 minutes back home without an estimate. I wasted gas and my time before I was due for work later in the day. I am very upset and disappointed by my experience at Interstate Auto Rebuilders. I will not be a customer at this place nor will ever recommend this shop to anyone. Terrible experience. read more

This body shop is incredible. The friendliest staff- Luis in the world. I am out of state and my daughters car caught fire. We had to file a claim and speak to Luis almost daily for updates.
