Classy entrance
Gary D.

Randomly found this shop listed as installers for my simpletires order. Having driven by this location numerous times before I was a bit perplexed as the photos on google didn't match anything from my memories. The exterior is currently a very subdued gray with a neat pair of gold statues marking the garage entrance. The gentleman helping me and the owner were professional and friendly. The interior was clean and safe for a person semi-traumatized from putting on a donut to wander through. In short I was impressed with the place and at ease after talking with them. So I decided to also get an oil change too on top of the tire installation because at that point I wanted to double down on the outcome of the experience. Both the tires and the oil change were done within a couple hours and the car has been running great since! The cost for the install and the oil change were reasonable too. Glad I took a chance on the tire website as it made me find this shop. I will be back!

Mass air flow sensor Lee's Auto Clinic installed after being in two weeks

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH HOW DISAPPOINTED I AM with Lee's Auto Clinic. I encountered car troubles in Chicago on my way to care for my ill mother living in the northeast, and after a google search, I discovered Lee's and decided to have my SUV worked on there. After an analysis of the vehicle, they said they needed to replace the alternator, battery, and the mass air flow sensor. They said this work would take a full day so I had to pay to stay overnight in Chicago and almost $2000 for these repairs. About TWO weeks after the repairs, my SUV would not start. I had to have it towed to a repair shop where they informed me that it needed a NEW mass air flow sensor. I told them I just replaced this part in Chicago, and they said from the looks of the nails and part, it didn't even look like it had been replaced! They also informed me that it was a "no name" part, as opposed to the Hitachi part they now put in for me. I was so upset by this that I contacted Lee's right away and the owner informed me that he was sorry that I was having car troubles and we could talk about it after the weekend. Monday rolled around and he never reached out to me until I reached out to him mid-day. He said I would have to ship him the old mass air flow sensor to POTENTIALLY refund me for the part. He never told me on Friday while I was at the repair shop to hold onto the mass air flow sensor to send BACK TO HIM. I'm a 32 year old woman so to say I feel taken advantage of is an understatement and for someone who sure liked to talk about how successful he was, to not refund me for a part that didn't work nearly two weeks after being installed is terrible customer service and also displays poor character. The part was $315.52 in Chicago and the install was $100. Two weeks later, the part was $301.68 and the install was $77.50. So altogether I spent $794.70 in a TWO WEEK SPAN on a mass air flow sensor! I would not recommend this auto shop to anyone. They don't care about their customers and you will end up paying more in the long run. AVOID! *Pictures show mass air flow sensor installed in Chicago by Lee's Auto Clinic vs mass air flow sensor installed in MA. Also attached receipt from Lee's*

If you're thinking of going here just go anywhere else. I suggest everyone check their recipes and make sure your mechanic people actually explain their work and put code that relate to what the problem is. They fabricate problem and give you false solutions. In other words don't trust mechanics. If you catch them lying don't pay just walk out

A friend recommended Moe and I couldn't be happier with my experience! As a women, car maintenance spots usually over charge you, or talk to you like a toddler. Moe took me through the services, to confirm what I wanted done, without talking down or taking advantage of me. Despite being short staffed, they were able to detail the body/rims/tires, and fix the damage to the body, within a week. I got 3+ quotes and they were the most reasonably priced for the repair AND detail. I would highly recommend this spot! I wish I took a before and after photo! Years of driving on construction, the tar buildup was awful! I still can't believe they were able to get it all out!

I can't say enough great things about Avondale Auto Repair, Nathan, Rick and their staff…read more As a first-time customer, I came in with what I thought was a simple issue--my 2017 Toyota RAV4 key fob suddenly stopped working. I'd replaced the battery before, so I tried that again... nothing. My (very mechanically inclined) husband tried too--still nothing. That kicked off the search for a replacement, and wow--what a frustrating experience. The dealership quoted me $600 to replace and program a new key. Automotive locksmiths were all over the place--$180, $250--and the whole process felt vague and transactional, like you couldn't get a straight answer without jumping through hoops. Then I found Avondale Auto Repair through the Costco Auto Program--and everything changed. Rick answered the phone, and within seconds I felt reassured. He was straightforward, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest. Instead of trying to sell me something, he explained the pros and cons--how aftermarket keys often don't last, and how they source directly from the dealer but can usually save customers about $100. No pressure. Just real, helpful information. When I came in, that same feeling continued. The shop itself is clean, bright, and welcoming--nothing like the typical auto repair environment. Nathan (Rick's brother-in-law) was at the front desk and immediately made us feel comfortable. Friendly, genuine, and incredibly helpful. Before recommending anything, he opened up my key and inspected it to confirm it wasn't just a battery issue. That alone told me everything--I wasn't being upsold. They were actually trying to help. Then Rick came back from lunch and did the same thing again, just to double check. I paid a deposit and they said they'd call once they got the key from the dealership. It took a few days. Even though they were short-staffed they week of my FOB order, Nathan handled everything with professionalism and kindness. He called three different dealerships to track down my key (since it was out of stock everywhere), coordinated the order, and made the whole process seamless. When I came back to drop off my car, even the staff helping me park were warm and courteous--it's those small touches that really stand out. We used to have a go-to repair shop nearby, but after a change in ownership, it just hasn't been the same. Now, we've found our new place. Avondale Auto Repair didn't just fix a problem--they earned our trust. And that's everything. That's how you do it, Nathan and Rick!
