I have been here several times and tried to give the owner the benefit of the doubt. His work is overpriced and mediocre at best. With those two factors in mind, he certainly has no business being rude, arrogant and just plain nasty. I refuse to deal with store owners like that. He needs to wise up or he will be out. read more

Shabby Work and Rude: This shoe repair store ruined my shoes and the merchants of the store are rude. The repair was to glue a portion of the sole back onto the shoe. The side of the shoe was covered in thick glue which wouldn't come off. When I brought this to their attention, they started to speak a foreign language excluding me from the conversation, threw their arms up in the air and dismissed me by walking to the back of the store. I paid full price and ended up with ruined shoes. I would never use this shoe repair store again! read more

While I was initially surprised that a shoe shine cost 5 dollars, the location was convenient. However, he ruined my shoes by adding some paint type spray to the shine and claims that my leather shoes were bad quality and that was the reason they are ruined. Taking out the fact that they are not cheap by any means and are a well know name brand with high quality leather, his inability to do his job without ruining the shoes seems like a pretty fundamental problem for a shoe repair shop. read more

Like the other reviews I would give zero stars if I could. I put a pair of boots in to be stretched 1/2 size up. When I came to get them they were smaller than when I brought them in. The gentleman said he would fix it and to come back again. When I returned a few days later they could not find them but finally did but they were still not right and the gentleman was very rude. I just paid and took the boots but I will not be returning. He expects to be paid for awful work and rude customer service. I too am shocked this place is still in business. Awful service! If I could assign "zero" stars I would. My first and last visit! I walked in, no friendly greeting, man came out from back area looking like I was interrupting him and he was obviously annoyed, barely spoke, didn't even pick up my shoe (expensive pair of leather heels). So, I asked for repair on slight tear in leather. He said no, no and then walked away, into the back, leaving me just standing there at the counter. Needless to say,I was flabbergasted! Terrible and Mean person at the counter,owner, I walked in today to get my heel replaced on my daughter's boots, not only he was condescending with his remark he was just very angry. I only asked if it can be done and he didn't even want to explain, he was just extremely rude. I had a terrible experience earlier today in this shop. I had been there a few times prior and most recently used them to fix a pair of sandals. After the sandals were repaired they subsequently broke again. When I went in today to explain what happened, the gentleman insinuated I did not have shoes repaired at his shop in the first place. He said something to the effect that he marks his glue spot and he would charge me yet again. I was completely puzzled. He was rude and this was a complete lie. While I have been to this shop a few times, I will never return. read more

I do not like the quality of his work. I've repaired many high heels here and my shoes do not always look better after it has been repaired here and the prices are not reasonable. I'd rather just invest the money and buy new shoes. The attention to detail is not there. I do not recommend coming here. read more

So I brought my "commuter bag" in. It was washed out/white. Asked if he could restore it. It was my husbands first gift to me, now 30 years old. We conversed about the color three times, and twice I told him I did not want it "shiny/new" He said ok twice. I picked up the bag and it was deep brown, almost black, not even on the radar of colors. He had also put a waterproof that made it shiny. The leather does not even look like leather. It looks vinyl/plastic. I took it back to him and non confrontationally told him I was not happy and asked if he could "reverse the curse" He argued with me about the color and had nothing to say about the shiny/new slash very rough feel. I brought a 1 yr old pair of cole haan lunar grands to get refurbished. I asked them to get the shoe to look as new as possible; he simple sprayed the shoe and in the process got brown overspray all over the blue sole. They also didn't take the extra 2 minutes to takes the laces out when they sprayed. Luckily I experimented and paint thinner got the overspray off the sole. It was under 10$ but but I very unimpressed w the attention to detail given. This was my first time going here. read more

I brought a pair of dress shoes in to be repaired, as the shoe leather had separated from the sole on the side of the shoe. For some reason, in addition to making the repair, he wanted to replace the heels on both shoes. There was nothing wrong with the heels on either shoe. When I asked him why, he just said, "Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.". In other words, "I can't fix your shoe unless you let me replace both heels and charge you for that as well". He did the same thing when I brought a pair of my girlfriend's suede boots in to be cleaned. That time, I let it go, but in hindsight, the heels really did not need to be replaced. If you go here, be prepared to get the "the heels need to be replaced" upcharge. Need something cleaned? New heels. Need something repaired, even if it's not shoes? New heels. Need directions to the highway? New heels. I will NEVER go to this guy again. read more

I don't know how this place stays in business. I brought the strap from a handbag in to be stitched (very simple) it held decorative chain in place. No customers in the shop and the man was sitting watching TV. When I showed him the chain that needed to be stitched he shoved it back at me and said it was too much work and walked away. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

When I brought my high heels in to get a new base on worn down heels he said they were six dollars per heel and I said wow I could just buy a new pair of shoes and he said well then I guess you should go buy a new pair shoes. I brought a pair of Manolo Blahnik pumps to this place because the sole and the tip of the shoes peeled away on a rainy night. First, he wanted to put a black rubber sole on the shoe..gross. Then I said, isn't there any other way? The owner said to me.." I don't need your $30, it's change to me!" Then he told me to get out of his store!! He is one of the rudest jerks I've ever seen. I just left this place after trying to have the heels of 3 pairs of shoes fixed. The owner was absolutely terrible!. Very disrespectful when I asked about the price. In order to justify the price, he began yelling and was extremely unprofessional. I cannot speak for the quality of the work, but they have the worst customer service that I have ever seen.
