Amy is a fantastic dentist! I've never thought that about a dentist before. Here's why: - she's fast! With regular cleanings, I'm usually waiting in the lobby for LESS THAN A MINUTE (for 7am appointments though) and out of the office within 35 minutes. And I don't feel like she compromises her quality at all. - she's so nice and personable! I mentioned going home for the holidays during my second appointment (which was four months after my first) and she even remembered where home was! Best New Dental Office in Dallas!!! I worked my way through undergrad and grad school as a dental assistant so even though I'm an executive for a non-profit now, I know a little bit about the world of teeth and gums. I'm new to Dallas and have been looking for a dentist ever since my first trip to a dentist here sent me running for the door. So this week I found myself sitting in a different dentist's office. I have to say, I have pretty high standards having worked for a high end dental practice that focused on cosmetic care. We had state of the art everything, outstanding customer care, and having had them care for my teeth for years I can say: There is nothing I would change about my smile. That said, I was impressed with Dr. Amy Rigby and her office. Her office is paperless. You'll fill out your initial patient health history, it'll be scanned in and that's the extent of your paper footprint. This is a plus for all of us trying to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Intown Dental also offers fully digital x-rays. The amount of radiation required for a digital x-ray is significantly less than traditional films. For someone who is not pregnant yet but is definitely trying, I can appreciate going to the dentist and not worrying about whether or not to have x-rays taken. Dr. Amy has been practicing for over five years and this year opened Intown Dental. I needed to find a new dentist and have an appointment ASAP. I contacted Intown and was set up for an appointment the same day. I filled out all the necessary paperwork and waited no more than 5-10 min and I was in the seat. I had the full work up on my teeth with X-rays, gum measurements and general probing and I could not be more pleased with Dr. Rigby and her staff. They made me feel at home and answered any question I had. I never felt any pressure that I could be doing better in maintaining my teeth or that I use tobacco. I thought more work would come out of our initial appointment but I was surprised to find out that my teeth were in great shape.
