You can check online to see what parts are in stock and this location often seems to always have what we're looking for. They have no problem with. Extra calls to confirm what they've got, peeking at parts before you buy them, returns...all the transactions are easy. Staff are great: friendly, helpful, kind. I like this spot.

I drove across town expecting a quick install, only to be told once I arrived that they don't install batteries on my vehicle's make and model. That would have been extremely helpful information to share during the phone call before I made the trip and purchased the battery. On top of that, they also wanted to charge an additional $40 just to register the battery after installation, which was never mentioned beforehand and honestly felt excessive. Between the website not working, the incorrect guidance over the phone, the wasted trip across town, and the surprise extra charge, the experience felt pretty disorganized and frustrating. I'd strongly recommend calling somewhere else first if you need a battery installed.

They put them on a charger for a week and told me I had maybe another year of service with them. I decided to replace them with new batteries. I feel I got a very fair price for two new batteries and am very happy with there service. I will be a customer any time I need batteries.

Wow has it been a while since I purchased wiper blades…read more The last time I did I swear they were $20 a pair. Now they are sold separately because driver and passenger blades are each different sizes. AND can range from $17 to $75 each. O'Reilly's had a convenient book in the wiper section for me to look up the size. Although it did take a few minutes to figure out the D and P after the serial numbers. Upon checking out the staff offered to help me install them. I appreciated the offer but said I needed to learn. Ya, 10 minutes later I went back in and took the help. The old ones were original and had been crusted on for 5 plus years and I Just couldn't get a grip tight enough to remove them. But sliding on the new ones was a breeze. Thanks to the staff for the assistance without any judging. See in another five years for another set.

While other mechanics said the lights shine direction were designed to not be changed, Gene did it! I ALWAYS get a text at some point after servicing or repairs that asks how things are going. I also have an '03 Silverado 2500 HD crew cab. Somehow, the electrical got screwed up when a battery died. No visible gauges, no power to windows, locks, or air. I could drive it carefully but had to hold the door open while driving because the blower was putting hot air inside on a warm day. I went to 3 mechanics, and not one could figure it out and wanted loads of $$$ to check things I knew were not the problem. It was horrible! Finally, I decided to just drop it off at GTM in Moundhouse and let them keep it for a couple days, as they were slammed at the moment. Gene spent several hours and figured it out. Whew! Truck runs great and it hasn't happened again. Gene takes care of our Hybrids (2), as well as my brother in law's trucks and their daughter's cars. His wife, Theresa, and he are really nice, down-to-earth people. I recommend them over any other place in Carson City.

Enter tonight's hero, Thomas. First, he walks to the other parking lot with us to load test the battery. He then walks back to the store and returns with a fully charged unit and installs it. We offered him a ride back. He refused. We offered him $20 (what we had on us atm). Again, he refused.
