Dragon Court is kind of hidden at the end of a shopping plaza near the University of Central Florida on the corner of McCulloch Road and Alafaya Trail. I was in the mood for Chinese food and whole consulting Yelp for restaurant options, I realize that I had never tried this place before and as an added bonus, they were offering a free appetizer with the purchase of an entree. This honestly was one of the deciding factors for me, especially considering that their lo meins were about two or three dollars more than the average price of lo mein at Chinese restaurants on the eastside of Orlando. Anyway, when placing the order, the lady on the phone said that that was for dine-in only and if I read the fine print I would see that. I went to my phone, opened up the offer and there was nothing about this offer being only for dining in. Anyway, she said she would look at it when I got there. So, I ordered the broccoli lo mein and a Thai pork lo mein (I requested that the Thai pork lo mein be extremely hot and spicy). Both lo meins were about ten dollars each. For the appetizer, I went with the pork and ginger dumplings (normal price was about nine dollars). When I got to the restaurant, it was a bit shocking to see the place was relatively empty. In fact, only one table had people and this was on a Saturday night, prime time for dinner (about 6:30 at night). I mentioned that I had a takeout order and she mentioned both the lo meins, but omitted the free appetizer. I reminded here and brought it up on my phone. With a sigh, the woman at the counter went and brought out an order of the pork and ginger dumplings. Oh, if it matters to you. The woman at the counter was not wearing a mask. For me, it is not an issue, but I know that some are concerned with this so I wanted to mention it. When I got home, I tore into the bags. It has been awhile since I had Chinese food, but the takeout containers looked a bit small. While definitely not pint sized, I don't think that they were quart sized, either. I have to say that they certainly did not seem to be priced appropriately, especially at about ten dollars each. So, how was the food? Well, if you noticed the one star rating, this is where the experience really crumbled. The pork and ginger dumplings were cold for starters. It is obvious that they just threw some of the pre-made dumplings in a box. They also tasted like something that I woukd get from the frozen section of a supermarket. My Thai pork lo mein was also kind of skimpy on the pork and had little flavor. It definitely could have been hotter, but I don't begrudge that part because rarely do they make it hot enough. I asked how the broccoli lo mein was and they were not overly enthusiastic about it either, though they said that they had a decent amount of broccoli. I cannot see returning here. The whole experience was pretty dismal.

Supposed to be fried orange pork. I think it came from a dead human corpse with maggots.

I honestly have to save that this is one of the worse meals that has ever been served to me and my wife. This is scary bad. It's supposed to be orange fried pork but it wasn't fried at all and most certainly not orange. We took one small bite and 2 hours later we still feel like we're going to puke. It literally looks like it came from a dead human corpse covered with maggots. Check the picture. Ladies and gentleman, good luck with survival if you go there. Yuk!!!!

They use egg noodles instead of chow mein for Hong Kong Pan Fried noodles. Huge mistake.

If your palate appreciates Panda Express, this is your spot. If you're in a frat or sorority, this is your spot. If you fancy the Chinese section in Golden Corral, this is your spot. Otherwise stick to Little Saigon for anything Asian.

Was really in the mood for Chinese Buffett and this spot was marketed as a buffet on Yelp. Sadly, wrong. No Buffett. But we said hey, let's stay. They start off with crispy wontons (I believe that's what they were) as complimentary. It arrives with a duck sauce and a wasabi mustard. No flavor at all. Lunch specials were decently priced. We ordered dumplings to start ($6.50). Again, mediocre. I ordered the General TSO chicken meal which came with a wonton soup. Wonton soup was tasteless. The chicken dish came with fried rice, lightly breaded chicken, an egg roll and broccoli. Rice was nothing to rave about at all... and on top of that.. my chicken was undercooked.. yes, parts of my chicken were raw. Server took my meal off the bill as compensation, and it's not that any of this was her fault, it's just.. the quality of food was no good at all. I personally won't be back but hey, other people have had better experiences so to each their own :)

I had a decent experience dining at Dragon Court. The food is average but the service is quick and convenient, the portions are plentiful (enough for most people to take home leftovers and have a second meal), the prices are decent, and the food is better than typical Chinese take out. I received a free appetizer checking in with the Yelp App. I chose the Dumplings which were soft and filled with ground pork. The appetizer was enjoyable but the ground pork could have had more flavor. The Cashew Chicken was a mountain of chicken pieces mixed with mushrooms, peas, carrots, water chestnuts, and cashews. The flavors were ok but didn't pop out as much as I expected them to. Most of the vegetables tasted as if they were previously frozen or canned.

Your typical American-Chinese restaurant. The food tasted good and you can't beat it for only a 20-minute wait for take-out. And you can use Order Up if you really don't want to leave the house. I got all the staples of American-Chinese food. General Tso's chicken, pork fried rice, and fried dumplings. It is exactly what I wanted and hit so many spots. Plus you get 10% off with a student ID.

This place doesn't change. Still good Chinese food for a decent price. It's been at this location for decades and is consistent and yummy.

Long-standing Chinese restaurant located in a shopping plaza…read more It is a convenient location and bring in a shopping plaza, parking is not an issue. The service was friendly enough and the place has a pleasant enough ambiance. I went with the lo mein and overall, it was good. If you are in the area, I would recommend here.

Then we…read morewere seated at a table by a woman obviously in a bad mood who just threw our menus on the table and then we just saw her back as she walked away. HMMMM We waited 10 minutes for someone to come and take our order and we finally had to call back to the woman who was at the back cash register to please come and take our order.( a different more pleasant woman) The Food was great. We had Ginger Pork and Chicken LoMein and a soup for 2. What made the meal go south was we asked for some napkins, more than the two that we originally had because the soup bowl was sweating on the table and it got wet. We waited about 10 minutes for two extra napkins to be delivered. Having used all 4 napkins we needed more. We asked for a few more and she told us she would get them but 15 minutes later we still didn't have them so we figured they're not going to give us any more napkins. As we continued eating our lovely meal, we asked for refills on our sodas and they took 15 minutes in an empty restaurant. Service really SU/,$ed. We won't be back. But if you don't care about service, definitely go for the food
