I had my iphone X screen replaced here about 6 months ago. First the positive: As other reviewers have said, it was quick and much easier than making an appointment at the Apple store. It was also cheaper. The new screen looked just like the original. Now the reason I didn't give 5 stars: While the screen looked good, the touch response wasn't the same. It felt a little sluggish, and force touch, where you push a little extra hard to for example open the camera from the lock screen, didn't really work anymore. I was a little bummed, but as I said it was cheaper than apple. 6 months later the screen stopped responding to touch. There was no visible damage, it just didn't respond. I brought it to best buy, which is an authorized repair place. It failed their diagnostics. They sold me a new screen, which now is just as responsive as the original. So in the end, I paid twice for the repair. On the other hand, my wife got her battery replaced here, and she was perfectly happy. Just know, there are risks in not using genuine parts. read more

It was a Friday afternoon and I dropped my iPhone on the street and broke my screen. I knew I needed a new front glass ASAP and luckily found the iPhone Repair Squad on a Google search. I can't recommend Roman at iPhone Repair Squad enough. I tried using a kit (from a different website) to replace my own phone battery and screen at home... it did not go well and took me HOURS, despite following the instructions carefully. When I finally got the phone connected again, it wouldn't turn on. Of course, this was at 9pm and no one was still open. I called Roman first thing in the morning, and he said he could fix it in 45 minutes- and he did! He used his own parts and showed me the difference in his genuine parts and the aftermarket ones that I was sent in the repair kit from the other company. He's got an eye for detail, as well- I noticed a small spot of discoloration on my screen after I left the store with my newly fixed phone, so I came right back and asked him if he could fix it. He had initially thought it was due to a bent component under that portion of the screen, but replaced the whole screen for no additional to make it right, and it fixed the issue. It turns out that the first screen had a small defect, and he was happy to fix me up properly. And my battery life is SO much better now. I've had my iPhone 8 Plus for about 5 years at this point, and I didn't realize just how bad it had gotten- now it lasts all day, multiple days, no problem. Don't waste your time going to anyone else. Roman was responsive right when I called. He told me about the possibilities of eve try scenario with my phone and found that the last repair guy left a sticker on the inside of my screen which led to it overheating a lot. Ramon is such a cool guy. It's nice to be treated with love and respect, as if we're homies. Ramon's caliber of customer service is rare and makes a huge difference in our every day interactions. I've come here a lot in the past couple years, not on the best of circumstances regarding my phone. Every time I come in with my cracked screen they get the job done and get it done fast. I wait no more than 20-25 minutes. Super friendly guy that works there (I don't know how to spell his name, something like Roman I think.) but he's great. I went in to fix my iPhone 12 Pro camera, and they quickly picked up my call and were able to take me in immediately and estimated about a 20 min service. Which is awesome as I saw other places estimating a few hours to fix and get my phone back. The only store that would try to repair my water-damaged iPhone8. Roman was meticulous and was able to ultimately identify the various root causes damaged by water and had the phone back and running within 48 hours. Great service and an easy-to-miss location as it is located within another store. Lucky for me the water damage was not from ocean water otherwise the salt probably would have damaged it irreversibly.
