We spent like $140 for 2 ppl for drinks, food, and tickets but it was worth it. Wow, what an experience. From the second you walk into this theatre you realize that this place is special. There are a couple restaurants and a bar/nightclub. The place is just amazing-looking with tree roots from ceiling to floor surrounds some tables. They have scented candles all over that really adds to the ambiance. Once you make a couple of turns you find the check-in desk (yes, for a movie theatre!). They are very classy & professional and tell you what they offer and what makes this place so special. We bought our tickets on Tuesday night for the Saturday show and it was a pleasure showing up 10 minutes prior to the start without waiting in any long lines. There were probably less than 40 people in the whole theatre (they offer 2 different types of seating; Premium & Premium-Plus) Once we went up the escalator to our theatre we were seated in our assigned reclining cooshie seats...EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE! These were so comfortable that my 9 year old son fell asleep during Captain America. They give you a pillow, blanket, unlimited free popcorn and free refills on all fountain drinks (and ice tea). There is a server that is assigned to your seats who brings you anything that you need. We ordered a few different types of food including a 4 cheese flatbread ($13) which was amazing, a BBQ Chicken Flatbread ($14) which gave us tastebud overload. They were both big enough for 2 people to eat. My son also had the Big Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich ($10) which he devoured all by himself after he was unsuccessful in his mediocre attempt on waking up his brother from his drool-filled sleep. Going to see an iPic movie is not cheap but it would make for an excellent & impressive date night. I love being pampered and I love going to the movies, so you can imagine how excited I was to learn about the new iPic Theater in Boca. We decided to try the theater out on its 2nd day by booking our tickets online and reserving our premium plus seats for $18/$24 each. When we arrived at the theater we were greeted by the friendly staff, given our tickets, and showed to the escalator where someone was waiting for us to escort us to our theater and our seats. Our seats were comfortable oversized leather seats that recline, come with comfortable blankets, and pillows. The seats also come with waiter service and popcorn! Our waiter immediately came over and introduced himself to us and went over the menu options. Since we had plans to go out to dinner after the movie, we only ordered drinks, but the menu items sounded yummy and I plan to eat there the next time we go! The seats also had a button to call our waiter in case there was anything we needed at any time throughout the movie. That came in handy! I would recommend the premium experience to anyone. I've always enjoyed the premiere experience at Muvico in Boca, but this far surpasses that. Once you attend a theater like this, every single regular theaters looks and feels like crap. I refuse to go to any other movie theater than this one. (What can I say, they spoiled me). The service is always great, very attentive servers and super nice. Make sure you sit at the premium seats that's where you get service and a blanky and pillow! WOOT! It feels like you're sitting in your own living room and cuddled up with a blanket and pillow and in super comfortable chairs that recline to your comfort. The food is amazing, they have this $22 meal deal where you get an appetizer, an entree and dessert. It's always the way to go. Their nachos are my favorite! If not, I strongly suggest you indulge yourself in what is likely to be the most extravagant movie-going experience of your life. From the moment you pass through the lobby and restaurant and take the escalator upstairs to a separate bar and food counter, you can tell this is going to be a first class experience. It goes without saying, if you want to fly first class you will pay extra for your ticket, but an ordinary movie night will certainly turn into something more special here. You can order drinks or food from your premiere seats. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. Our server offered to bring out a small sample of one of their specialty margaritas when we asked about it. The menu features great sandwiches, burgers and salads. A small popcorn is on the house. The big comfortable chairs recline and come with a soft pillow and blanket. There isn't a bad premiere view in the small house of about 70 seats, although the less expensive front row seats are fairly close to the screen and don't recline. You get to select your reserved seat...so no need to arrive early or be anxious about where you'll be sitting. Right now there are only nine iPic theaters in the entire country that are up and running. The closest one to Boca is over 1000 miles from here. More theaters are on the way. I strongly recommend you pamper yourself to something most people in America won't get a chance to experience for a few more years. read more

I have been to this iPic twice now. I can honestly say there is no other place like it. The atmosphere is amazing. Very relaxed and chill place even tho the decor is upscale. Downstairs is the restaurant Tanzy and theater upstairs. I didn't get to try any of the drinks but they definitely looked very good. The ticker for a premium seat is 24 dollars which is a bit much at first but for what your are getting is totally worth it. The seats were extremely comfortable. They are big comfy recliners. The servers come to your seat to take your order, I had the Garden Salad with grilled chicken. I also ordered the truffle fries, the fries were excellent perfect amount of truffle oil. The meal didn't come cheap tho it was a total of 30 dollars. The room felt very intimate and private. The staff was 5 star all the way, fast service with a smile. Drove up to Boca from Weston today to catch a glimpse of the new iPic I've been hearing all about. I stopped in at the new Italio just down the road for dinner because I didn't trust getting dinner at a movie theater, but the food seemed to look pretty decent. At least, it was very nice looking. To be able to watch a movie while being fully reclined, with a blanket and pillow is THE way to watch a movie. I have a chronically bad back so I don't go to the movies much, but this was pretty easy for me. Absolutely excellent experience today at iPic Theaters. I saw the Revenant and iPic's service, food and comfort nearly stole the show over the epic movie. The venue: The theaters are filled with large, comfortable reclining seats and each seat is adorned with a pillow (similar to an airplane pillow) and an amazing blanket. Like where the fuck are they getting these throw blankets from? They're fantastic. The service: Best service I've ever had. Kind, attentive, fast, eager to please and appropriately cautious considering there's a movie playing. The food: Excellent food. I ordered spicy tuna over crispy rice and it was absolutely delicious. They also provide free popcorn and for my diabetic Father they were more than happy to provide unsalted, butter free popcorn. Overall: iPic is pricey at $28 a seat. On top of that, the food isn't cheap. For example, my tuna appetizer cost $16 so, this isn't the kind of place I can afford to come to consistently to watch movies. Beware of your seat. Reserved online due to my unbelievably hectic schedule of 75 hrs this work week. It was date night with my girl and we rushed our dinner to make the early show. I made reservations online for our very first highly overrated visit to Ipic. Upon arrival we were quite impressed with staff friendliness and atmosphere. Unfortunately, that's where the good impressions ended. We got lost upstairs and finally found our theater. Then, apparently the staff was too busy with higher paying customers than our $14 seats to help. So we wondered around until we located our seats in the first (front) row. A1/A2. Oh boy. Picture yourself sitting on the floor in front of your TV, but off to the left and below the screen. Immediately we knew we couldn't see the screen and enjoy our movie. I left and located a manager outside in the snack area. She offered a refund, or tickets to a 3 hr later showing. No thank you, I made plans and my time is very valuable. We decided to give it a try. MISTAKE!!!! Don't buy these tickets!!! We missed 1/2 the movie, literally (the right half). And when we left, our necks were sore from strain. I decided to complain. Not my normal style, but just felt motivated. The front desk girl said if we had asked for a refund within 15 minutes, we could have received our $ back. Seriously ?!?! Then she proceeded to insult my intelligence by stating that premium seating was available only 2 rows back. Ok......... Had I known how SH!++y these seats were, I might have opted for the better seating........ If it wasn't sold out!!!!!! So the manager was called, who was the same manager who I spoke with originally, who was clearly not concerned about our frustration. She did offer a full refund. Thank you. But you can't pay me to get back a date night we've planned for a month. Keep your money and buy training on how to treat customers. We left with an offer for a refund, or tickets to use in the future, but only in the next 90 days (no thanks). After stating at least 3 times, to just disclose the poor visibility of the seats we were sold, I still don't think they got the point. My time is worth 10X the money they offered as a compensation for seats that should never be sold. Probably will not return until they start selling A1/A2 and similar seats for 1/2 price and disclosing the limited view, which we will not buy!!! Buyer beware!! Just go to another theater or pay for premium plus extra special seating. If you don't know the name, don't worry, staff will correct you sternly if you say the wrong thing. read more

I've been to my fair share of great movie theaters in New York City, Seattle, Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C., all over New Jersey, etc. And let me tell you, the iPic theater in Boca Raton is hands down the most incredible one I've had the pleasure of visiting. Sure, tickets are on the pricey side ($14 for non-reclining seats and $24 for reclining ones.) But let's face it - Boca Raton's Mizner Park is a great upscale area. I like that there's ($6 + tip) valet parking right out front of Tanzy. In fact, you have to go through Tanzy in order to get on the escalator that brings you to iPic. I appreciate the fact that we didn't have to drive around searching for a parking spot for 15 minutes... The desk concierge is very pleasant and friendly. The salon itself is as clean as you can imagine. Each guest gets a pillow and a soft blanket, in case he gets cold. The chairs are extremely comfortable. You also get free popcorn. Everything we tried on the menu was exquisite. I had some ham & cheddar cheese biscuits with sweet butter... simply incredible! We also ordered a chicken Caesar salad (delicious and served in a very interesting way), grilled chicken skewers (simply seasoned cooked to perfection), grilled asparagus (fresh and crispy), tater tots (served with bacon ketchup - yum!) Our servers were both very welcoming and courteous. I completely agree with Andrew V.'s comment: "Once you go, you'll never want to see a movie anywhere else." I've been spoiled! I had a great experience here. I came with my boyfriend for a mid-day movie date and it was just the kind of outing we needed. They have two levels of seating, premium and premium plus. We paid for the premium ($14 a ticket). The premium plus is I believe an additional $10. The premium seats are very very close to the screen, so keep that in mind. The premium plus seats are electric recline chairs, and they give you a blanket and pillow to use. The premium plus seats also provide you with waiter service. If you are in the premium seats, as we were, you order your food at the counter first and then bring it in yourself. We had gone on a slow day, so the gentleman behind the counter brought us our food into the theater. The movie was also empty. There was only one other couple in the entire theater, so we asked the guy if we could move and he gave us no problem. Movie theaters are always cold, so I loved the fact that you were provided with a blanket. Now for the food... It's all prepared by Tanzy, which is an upper scale italian restaurant. The trio burger sliders were really good. They were made with a better quality meat. The parmesan truffle fries were on point, not too much grease, just enough parmesan. We also shared the four cheese flatbread. It was pretty big actually and tasted good as well. The food cost $36 on top of the $28 for the movie tickets, and we also tipped the guy for bringing our food, and giving us two huge plastic cups of water. The entire date was $70, not terrible and we enjoyed lounging and eating while watching a movie. It's definitely pricer than just going to a regular movie, but makes a great date night! read more

We visited IPIC last on July 4th to celebrate our anniversary. I was our first time there. We had trouble finding it as we drove down the main road at Mizner Park and were aggravated by the time we figured out where it was finally as the direction signs are lacking. Walking in we said we would never come back even if it was great because we were so irritated with trying to find it.... well that threat we made to ourselves went away the moment we stepped in and were sweetly greeted by 3 nice young ladies who got us our tickets and sent us on our way. Once in the theatre we were escorted to our VIP seats and were handed off to our server. She was a sweet and attentive blonde - Don't recall her name but she gave us a run down on what to expect and how everything worked. We ordered augus sliders, truffle fries and drinks which came out pretty quickly and found the food to be AMAZING!!! OMG 5 star quality!! Just as we were polishing off our meal we were each handed a nice hot bag of fresh popcorn! YUM so good and so much fun! The Movie TAMMY was cute and made even more enjoyable by the comfy reclining chairs and snuggly blankets and TOP SHELF service. What an experience!! So, my coworkers wouldn't shut up about this place when it opened- and their enthusiasm was contagious. Determined to investigate the "fanciest theater EVER", I dragged a friend to Brave. Loved every bit of it! It puts the Fancy in Fancy Schmancy. Beautiful decor, great staff- very friendly- and the whole place makes you want to dress to the nines and have a full out date night there. We did not try Tanzy though I hear nice things about the restaurant too. The seats were more comfortable than my lazy-boys at home. Microfiber blankets, pillows, reclining seats, an attendant button like an airplane to summon a valet, as well as a much smaller, intimate theater setting really gave this place a nice posh feel. The audio and visual quality were also good, and the gourmet snacks delicious. I am now a die-hard Ipic Fangirl and will be going to most of my movies there! Our amazing experience all started with the valet parking...you get out, hand over your keys to the very friendly staff and THEN...WOW, as you enter the theater...not only is it the most impressive entrance for a theater you will ever see, everyone was so friendly from the moment we walked in. I love that you sit two by two. They give you a very nice blanket and pillow...might not be a place to come to if you are tired, just way too comfortable, could be easy to fall asleep if at a late night show. I ordered the cheesy flat bread of which was outstanding and a glass of wine...all timely, served right to your seat by the push of a button. The free popcorn is a plus! My husband ordered a burger of which he devoured as it was also so yummy. I needed to use the restroom during the show, but felt it was a bit far away to get in and out. The best place to watch movies! I totally recommend going here. It's not the cheapest place, but imo it's the best experience. The first few times I went, everything was 5-stars worthy, fantastic. Then I had one visit where things weren't quite right, but the management takes these things seriously, they've been in contact with me, and they made it right. So I'll happily keep going here whenever I want the best possibly movie-going experience. My tip, try the Floridian mojito. I can't sing enough praise, about iPic. I've been there about 4 times, and my only complaint, is that it's not closer to my house! The food is amazing, everything I have had, has been outstanding. The menu seems to constantly be changing, like at any good restaurant, so there has always been something new for me to try. The prices are about on par with a restaurant of this caliber. I was surprised when I read another review here, where the gentleman was complaining about paying $33 for a three course meal, and drink, with tip. Especially, considering you pay nearly $30 for a bucket of popcorn, drink, and box of M&Ms and any normal chain theater. I'll gladly pay an additional $3 for a three course meal, and a wait staff, thank you! The seats, specifically the premium plus seats, are extremely comfortable, more comfortable than anything I have, in my house. Which is depressing for me. It's like a big soft recliner. No worrying about who gets which armrest. They also provide you with a pillow, and blanket (yes they are very clean.) I don't use them myself, as I don't get cold too easily, but usually, my date does, and It's tough to get her to part with them, when we leave. The staff has all been great so far, friendly, attentive, haven't had a single bad experience with them. I strongly suggest, that you at least give it a shot. read more

I'm so obsessed with iPic Theaters that I drive over 50mi from downtown Miami just to go and refuse to go anywhere else. The prices are, though higher than a traditional cinema, very reasonable considering the comfort and world-class service throughout your experience. The food is delicious and the wine is soooo good that I accidentally had a little too much last time. Gone are the days of getting up to get yourself some popcorn, candy or soda (unless of course you enjoy that.. it's also an option).. if I need my glass topped up or I'm feeling peckish, all I do is press the blue service button between the seats and a waiter promptly comes over with a smile (be sure to request Chris - he's awesome!!). My only complaint, though obviously not deducting stars for it, is that they're sooo far.. they need one in Miami-Dade ASAP as that CinéBistro crap is no comparison. Aww writing this is making me think of how much I enjoy iPic.. I think I'm gonna go tonight! We have been to this theatre three times in the last month. It is an excellent experience. The only snag we hit was when we went to see Exodus, Gids and Kings ( not the best movie). The seats we had reserved were broken: one in the reclining position, and the other in the upright position. The problem was now that the movie was sold out. The theatre personnel did everything they could to effect a repair. We were given the option to come back to a different showing. We elected to stay. The manager was very pleasant and gave us two free passes for our inconvenience. I think the professionalism of the staff is worth noting. We went again on New Years to see Unbroken (very good movie). Again, a great experience. I then took a friend who had never been to an Ipic theatre before to see Into the Woods (good if you like Sondheim. I must say Meryl Streep is excellent as always, and Emily Blunt deserves an Oscar.). My friend was amazed at the theatre. He loved the upscale decor, the very pleasant staff, the comfortable seats, the pillow and blanket and the complimentary popcorn as well as the seat side service. He also thought the restrooms were even classy and beautiful as well as spotlessly maintained which is unique in a movie theatre I think my first time visitor sums up the Ipic experience very well when he says "It is a truly civilized theatre experience." I highly recommend this theatre. It is worth the travel from Fort Lauderdale and the price of admission. read more

iPic, its your premium theater. You can reserve your seats Online or on the app (sadly only on IOS at the moment). Your premium seat with the lounge seats/chairs will cost you around $28 each while the regular two front row seats will cost you $16 each. If you reserve any seat (even the front seats), you will be able to bring your food or even have your food delivered to your seat while you watch the movie. Whats different about this theater is that, the theater is located up stairs while the full wine/bar is located down stairs. If I didn't live far away from this theater, I would go to this theater every single time. Note: The front two rows/sections in which are not the premium lounge chairs/seats are close to the screen (but still comfortable).
