I came here on a Wednesday morning so it was relatively quiet and empty. The staff was very welcoming and the theatre was clean. They validated parking so that was a plus for me! They missed the mark with the food!!!! It was terrible. I ordered chicken tenders and fries which I did not like. The fries were a a bit cold and salty and the chicken was unseasoned. I guess they call it balance (lol) but I did not appreciate that. Since that is my only complaint, I would visit again but I'd probably eat before I go --which ruins the experience of going to a "dine in theatre," but if the food is going to be expensive and taste like that, I'll pass. read more

IPIC is literally the ultimate experience. Can we quickly address how they provide the vibes and luxury at a reasonable cost? YESSSS! I love this for us! Its the seat warmers, the full recline, the complimentary blankets, the chair side lamp, the menus conveniently located. I love the theater rooms aren't huge. Its the server that make the experience elevated. The upstairs has a little lounge area for you while you wait for your movie, you can also order drinks from the bar. The bartender are super efficient because they carter to you will serving up the patrons already in a viewing. I ordered the a small popcorn which was $5 and a shaker, granted the shaker was $39 I got 4 drinks out of it so a win is a WIN in my book. I love the location, it is ideal! if you don't see anything on the menu you like there is a variety awaiting you right downstairs. I was interested in seeing Morbius and wanted to dine in a clean and local theatre and heard good things about the theatre at Colony Square. I was surprised to find out I was the only one in the theater watching this new movie on a Thursday at 4:30pm in April, I think it was the perfect time to avoid the crowds. You can purchase your ticket online and select your seat or purchase at the theatre. Theatre still looks brand new, very modern, has a sophisticated vibe to eat and love the décor.   Movie was 18.50 which is pretty high but it's so true you get what you pay for. It was very clean, comfy seats, and waiter service is provided and there is a full bar and foods menu with a good selection. The bathrooms are something you would find at a five-star hotel. The employees were super nice and very helpful, I had a little trouble figuring out the ordering process and selecting my seat.   I ordered their mule that was on the menu for $12, it wasn't the best, not a fan! I did finish it because I paid $12 for it but I would stick to something simple next time. To eat I ordered a small popcorn $4 and calamari $16.50; popcorn was good quality movie popcorn and not too buttery, calamari was the winner, seasoned well and paired with this really good, sweet spicy sauce. My server also brought me a glass of water which was much appreciated.   Movie sound and picture quality was good, seat was comfy and allowed for social distancing, only thing missing was heated seats.   I enjoyed my time here and would visit again. Came for date night to see Sinners. Everyone talks about how great IPIC is because the private little pods that reclines and the infamous IPIC blankets, lol, so we came to test it out. We arrived everyone seemed nice, we entered the theater where they was leftover popcorn in the seats but we didn't make a big deal about it. We also didn't have the infamous blankets, when asked the staff stated they may have ran out and to ask our waiter when we got a chance. So that was a little disappointing. We were told parking would be $3 for 4 hours with the validation, once we were leaving the parking garage parking ended up being $30 with no explanation. There wasn't even a sign stating how much parking is per hour or anything, so all we knew was that is was suppose to be $3. I called IPIC trying to get a understanding and see if we did something wrong on our part. The young lady on the phone was kind of dismissive and no help. She told me I would need to reach out to corporate via some form on the website, she did try and assist me with navigating that, however the form was no where to be found. I love this movie theater! Perfect for dates since seating is sectioned in pairs. The recliners are adjustable and comfortable. Blankets are available per request. The server was attentive, and food came out quick. My favorite thing on the menu are the mini ice cream sandwiches, huge portion! Their fries are also really good, very crunchy and soft on the inside! The theater validates parking as well, another plus. The bathrooms are the only thing I don't like. My first trip to IPIC was on Christmas Day so my experience may be a little different. First, this is a beautiful theater. I know that may not matter to anyone but it was visual eye candy looking at all the art from the entrance into the theater. The seats in the theater is really comfortable and the way they have it set up makes it feel like you're in your own private area. The seats are almost like a booth with the small table in between. Because it was Christmas Day and there was no one else in thale theater, service was really fast. I ordered the burger and sweet potato fries. The food was okay, not bad but nothing spectacular. Overall, the experience was pretty good and if you're trying to watch a movie but still feel like you have your privacy and not be right next to strangers, this theater works. read more

HUGELY important addition to midtown Atlanta and I'm a fan. Visited with my son to see "Sing 2" and I went in verrrry skeptical since other food-serving theatres have been, shall we say, a bit dicey. Our service was bang-on throughout. Food was tasty, especially the fried-cheese wedges which are to die for. Seats were amazingly comfy and we felt like we were at home. Whomever designed the space kept it mid-century-mod throughout, which is eye-popping and fancy AF. IPIC also mandates mask-wearing while not eating although I wish they would go the extra mile and require proof of vaccines. My one quibble is that this location doesn't make it clear that they validate parking down to $3; we had to pay $18 without knowing (I didn't do my homework so that's on me). But overall we will go back as soon as another kiddie movie pops up. read more

The food came out quickly but popcorn was COLD and Stucky (Churro flavor), then sent it back to get truffle requested the popcorn hot or warm but it was also cold. They charge an automatic 18% for gratuity. They validate your parking so you only pay $3 for 4.5 hours which is a steal in Atlanta. I would recommend this theater. read more

If you like the Dine-In concept Theatres, iPic is the BEST. This was my 1st time visiting the Atlanta location but it's similar to the others and the one I visited twice before in River Oaks. I do believe they have a location in Miami and another in DC. Seating is individualized sections with 1 large oval table, and very small blue light next to the QR Code for the menu. On the side of each wall are 2 buttons to control your seat. Seats are very plush and comfortable, and blankets are on request. The menu is really good and offers a lot of options! Food portions are BIG as well so be mindful. You can order multiple items and share them and leave stuffed! Only cons are lighting and making the table bigger or offer a smaller side table. My sister and I ordered Steak Nachos, Wings and Fried Chicken with fries and had no space left on the table. I opted to keep a bowl in my lap. Just a heads up! Parking is in the Colony Square Garage and allows $3 parking after validation. Without validation I believe it's $15. Total for the movie and all the items ordered + parking was $78. I have officially tried 3 Dine-in theaters in Atlanta and the IPIC is hands down my favorite thus far! I love that they offer garage parking that can be validated after the movie! Once we got inside, it was beautiful! I loved the long upscale escalator that we took up to the second floor to the theater rooms. There was a bar on the second floor that was nice to have! I also noticed the bathrooms were extremely clean and well tended too. Once in the theater to see CREED III, we were able to quickly order a variety of things from the menu while enjoying the movie. One of my favorite details of this theater were the cupholders being attached the seat instead of taking up table space. I really enjoyed my movie night at this location and I can't wait to return! read more

IPIC was not my pick this time around. My first issue was the online checkout prices. There are discrepancies in the price online and on the app. Additionally, my total and the amount charged to my card was different. Unfortunately, I was not able to verify the amount because there is not a receipt issued via email or print to screen. I inquired with customer service, but haven't heard anything back. The parking and movie check in was very easy. The attendant validated my parking, so parking was only 3 dollars. Although, I've been to this theatre many times, this was the first time I've been told no free refills. This isn't practical. The drinks come in a pint size and with ice included - it's only a few ounces. Meaning another drink would be 6 additional dollars. The other movie snacks were wonderful definitely worth the hype. I read reviews about the parking situation before coming and I hope you're reading them too...otherwise, parking is going to be confusing. I put "Colony Square Parking Garage" in my GPS and it took me right to it. It'll look like you can't turn in (because there is some construction currently), but once you do - you'll see the garage entrance. It's located in a cute plaza with areas to relax, talk, or take pictures in. Inside, the front desk attendants weren't very welcoming and it was confusing whether we needed to see them or not since we bought tix online. But they check you in and validate parking so yes, you need to see them. By the way, make sure you take your parking ticket. Parking is $3 with validation and $22 without!! The pods inside the theater are really nice and I definitely suggest date night here. They have blankets , but they are $15. Just bring your own lol. I loved the pod style seats. They recline and they feel very separate from the others. The food/drinks are pricy for what you get, but that's to be expected for midtown Atlanta AND at a movie theater. I was able to try the popcorn, pretzels, fried mozzarella, buttermilk chicken (which is tenders by the way), fries, el corazon drink (tiny), and the bartender's special - "Say it with your chest." The bartender's special was supposed to be a strong Jack drink, but it wasn't that strong. The el corazon was much stronger. I enjoyed all the food and the experience as a whole. Food was 4.5 stars, ambiance 5 stars, SERVICE 1.5 stars. I guess when you get an automatic gratuity, it's easy to not cater to your guests. They provided the basic service of taking your order. That's all. The food was delivered by food runners, not the "SERVErs". I also asked for a blanket and she said that she would see if they had any... and never returned. Not even to say no. As a first time visitor and being the FIRST movie showing of the day at 11am, I'm not sure why they wouldn't have any available. They put an automatic $75 hold on your card. They don't check on you and they tip themselves through their "service charge". I would've been more than happy to give not only the service charge but an additional tip if they actually provided service beyond simply taking an order. They're not real servers. They don't make suggestions, they don't give you time to inquire about the menu while they're standing next to you. It's simply transactional. They take the food order, they ask if you want to close out now or leave the tab open. Then they leave. For upscale prices, they need upscale servers. I enjoyed my first visit. Parking: there is a parking deck nearby and valet parking is available. (Valet parking was $35 in a Saturday and that didn't include the tip!) Location: Wasn't too easy to find but valet directed us where to go. Drinks: Alcohol drinks are also available. U can walk up to the bar when u arrive or they can deliver to your seat. I had multiple drinks. The lavender drink was my favorite. The strawberry fields was good too. I didn't like that my friend had to hand the waitress their card so they could put their card on file to order food. The theaters are smaller than the normal sized theaters. Not as many ppl to occupy Just an fyi. Chairs: the chairs reclined and each chair comes with a blanket. Ordering food: there is a button. On the table in front of u that's lit up. Push that button when u want to order food or drinks. The waitress will come directly to your table. Food: the food was really good. I'm still trying to find lemon pepper wings that are as good as the ones I had here. I also had fajita fries. Those were very good. My family and I first visited on Christmas day, for our usual family movie night, but we had to return because of THE SEATS! We do not go to theaters often and when we do, we enjoy a quality dining experience. The staff here were very attentive, and got our food out quickly (while the movie was playing) The cocktails were okay. I ordered an old-fashioned one, but it wasn't made the best so I didn't order more than one. The food was tasty and presented very well. I was impressed with my spicy tuna with crispy rice. My kid enjoyed everything she ordered. The only downside of the seats are paired off, which makes it great for couples, or even double dates; however, we were a party of 3, so one of us had to sit next to an empty seat (which wasn't a bad experience but something you should know.) Pro Tip: Arrive early so that the staff can take your order before the movie starts. They do a great job of not trying to interrupt the movie experience and aren't in the way, however, it makes the overall experience even more enjoyable. read more

Let's all go to the moviesssss, let's all go see a showwww! I'm a huge movie fan and love nothing more than to pop up and see a show. I'm an unlimited subscriber at another chain of movies, so I rarely venture beyond their chain but realized recently that I've never been to an iPic! Although I've known about iPic forever, I'm not sure how or why I'd never ventured there to see a movie. It's right up my alley! Movies + comfort + food and drinks right at your seat? Yes please! For weeks now, I've been saying I wanted to head to iPic but it just hadn't worked out. For one, this location is not 7 days a week and weekday movies aren't shown until the evenings, so it didn't always align properly but I was dead set on checking them out. So the other day when my boyfriend had a day off, we decided to make a night of it and opted for a 6:15pm showing of Bullet Train. Purchasing tickets online was so easy! The website was super user-friendly and picking our seats was a breeze. The tickets were actually much cheaper than I expected and we paid about $41 for two tickets. Not bad for the experience! I love that iPic is located near Politan Row, giving you a great options of bars, restaurants and spots to enjoy before or after your movie. We decided to grab drinks and a quick appetizer inside of the food hall prior to the movie and were able to walk right over just a few minutes after. Walking in, the lobby was beautiful! With a beautifully painted accent wall, incredibly high ceilings and an escalator reaching heights you couldn't even see from the first floor, it was a great first impression. Because we bought our tickets online, we walked right up the escalator, assuming that someone would be up there to scan them. Super wrong, lol. The team at the bar was kind enough to explain that we needed to redeem our online vouchers at the entry desk downstairs that we somehow casually walked past - oops, lol. After another trip up and down the escalator, our tickets were scanned and we headed to our seats. The entire place felt like we were by ourselves and saw more staff than guests while there, which is absolutely not a complaint. When we walked into our theater, we were the only guests! Loved that! Speaking of the theater, I love how they're setup! The private pods are so perfect for a cuddly date night or a relaxing solo time at the movies, which are my two favorite reasons to enjoy the big screen. We got settled in our reclining seats and I took a moment to look around the pod. The little cubby at the bottom was perfect for my purse and the table was a good size without being obnoxious and I appreciated that we could move it around. It all fit so well and we didn't feel cramped in any way! Shoot, better than some flights! All they were missing was a charging port for our phones, lol. Once we took our seats, our amazing server named Eli greeted us. What an angel! He was soooo sweet and smiling every time we saw him, even in the dark lol. He gave me a nice fluffy blanket and we chatted a bit before the movie as he took our orders. I went for a small beer and cheddar popcorn, and my boyfriend opted for nachos and truffle popcorn. Pricing wasn't too crazy in my opinion but I'm one of those people that believes in movie concessions and so does my boyfriend so, swipe it up baby! Our drinks were quickly brought over to us and I was shocked that my small beer was so huge!! And the popcorn tubs were even bigger. Well worth the price. Eli was attentive the entire time and I almost wish we would have made that our dinner plan as well because he (and his coworkers BTS) made it all so smooth and positive. The design of the theater itself is very art deco and I loved that it felt like a luxurious theater down to the beautiful mirrors located between the bathrooms. Drinks at the bar before our theater opened, awesome artwork, ambient atmosphere. I have to say that I am extremely pleased with the food. This theater was so cool to me, I think I even enjoyed this a little more then my kids lol. The theater was really easy to get to, parking was simple and the staff were very attentive. They explained everything so well, they took our orders and even gave recommendations of some of their favorite items on the menu. My food was sooooo good, and so were the drinks. The popcorn was fresh and I loved that they had different flavors. The sound was perfect in the theater and so was the picture. I really loved how the seats were like in pairs and secluded from the next pair. It definitely gives you a sense of privacy so you can relax. I left off one star due to cleanliness of the seats. Im not sure if the seating areas are suppose to be cleaned after each movie but they definitely should be. People are literarily eating whole meals and accidents do happen. My love of movies is endless and even more so my love for a good movie night out. I frequent IPIC frequently and have usually had pretty good experiences until this past Sunday. The service was ok. Food came to our seats cold and then we struggled to get utensils to eat as they are not provided at your seats anymore (just the black cloth napkin). Also no waters were ever brought to us while the beer arrived within 10 minutes of ordering, my old fashioned drink did not arrive until 49 minutes after we ordered. Mind you this is also after I had my service light on for a good 10 minutes with no response ever to the point that I turned it off and gave up. Only for my drink to finally show up some time later. Even with all this, although my experience was definitely not up to the expected standard I'd had many times before I am then presented with my bill shortly afterwards. The server stood there and waited for a few seconds. I continued to enjoy the movie. The server returned and asked had I finished with the receipt. I let her know not right then....she then huffed and stormed off. Well as I look at the receipt during the ending of the movie.... I see there is a new charge. There is now an added "Server charge $9.99" along with a TIP line. It would be nice to be notified of this new additional charge especially when the service is lacking. There was no manager available per the bar staff that night. Well needless to say I will be calling Corporate to discuss communications on this new charge that seems to now be standard but not necessarily deserving of all your servers. I never have a problem paying for great service, food, etc but in the midst of all the emails you send to solicit about new movies, menu items etc...... where was this communication??? Would love the chance to speak with a manager for some explanation of the nights events. read more

We stumbled upon this movie theatre as we were heading to the Colony Square food court for a quick bite. So happy we made the pivot! This theatre is beautiful and perfect for date night. The concierge was friendly and helped us select a movie based on our interests - we're not frequent movie goers so we didn't know any of the movies that were playing. After purchasing our tickets, we made our way upstairs to the waiting area and bar. The ambience was everything! Loved all of the plants and the modern decor. The actual theatre was sooooo nice! Now I've been to movie theaters with reclining seats, but these were super fancy! Every two seats were separated by dividers so we truly felt like we were in the theatre by ourselves in our own little pod. We were greeted by our server almost immediately and ordered calamari, steak fajita fried, and the biscuits. I highly recommend this theater because it was a great experience. However, I will say that the food we ordered was terrible which is why it did not get 5 stars. I loved the reclining chairs, and the service was great. I dont understand their method of assigning the seats when you purchase a ticket. They will give you two terrible choices but the theater was practically empty during that time of the day. However when I went back to the cashier she allowed me to change my seating preference. Now let's talk about the terrible uncooked chicken wings and dry burger, YUCK! The fries were good and the drinks were good. Next time I will stick to regular theater food. Finally the restrooms were very clean with many stalls. The parking was a bit confusing the first time around. That was so frustrating to me. Don't forget to get your parking ticket validated. The staff was nice and so was the theater. However, for three tickets they charged a $7 convenience fee and this was at the door. I didn't buy the tickets online to avoid the fees. I was not happy when I got there and was still charged for it. The churro popcorn and the white cheddar popcorn was delicious. The truffle popcorn not so much. I don't think I'll return to this location. There are a lot of theaters in Atlanta with this same concept, so I will go there. read more
