Avoid this place like a disease! Dropped off a Mac book for a simple system restore. One month later no MacBook and I have to drive 40 minutes to pick it up from some guy's house. Called the guy who I am suppose to pick it up from and finally returned my call. He's in China and won't be back until March 8. That's over three months from the day I gave them my MacBook. They over promise and never deliver. It looks like I have to get my attorney involved which will cost more time and money, all because they lie. This place is beyond unprofessional. read more

About a month ago, I brought my shattered iPhone 5c to this place to have the screen replaced. They charged me $119.00 (which I thought was kind of high, but I was there so I went with it) and the service took about 30 mins. The new screen looked good so I was happy with the results. After I paid, I was given my receipt and told the screen had a 90 day warranty. About 2 weeks later I noticed that the screen was starting to lift off in the upper left corner and that a small crack developed in the screen in the same corner. It took me about a week before I was able to get back to the Glendale Galleria to have the screen looked at again, and by this time, the screen had spiderwebbed off the initial crack so that now there were about 5 cracks across the face of the screen, and almost the entire left side of the screen was lifted out of the side of the phone. When I went to the kiosk and showed the guy there what happened, and showed him my receipt to show that it was well within the 90 day warranty period, his response was "I'll offer you a good deal, I'll fix it for $95." me: "What?! But it's still under warranty." him: "The warranty doesn't cover physical damage." me: "But the physical damage was caused by the fact that the screen you put on is now popping off." him: "I can't help you, there is physical damage. Our warranty does not cover physical damage." me: 'Yes, but again, the physical damage was caused by the screen popping off." This went round and round for a few minutes, with him just repeating that the policy doesn't cover physical damage. He then implied that the phone was dropped, which caused the damage. (The phone was not dropped, and I have dropped iPhones plenty of times in the past and have NEVER had the screen pop off.) I realized I wasn't going to get anywhere, so I gave up arguing. But this is probably the worst customer service I have ever received, and for a business to not stand behind their work is appalling. Beware if you are thinking about going here. There are plenty of other phone fix-it places in the area, and I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. read more

Wait a minute. I left a good review before I left the store so I could get the discount on my screen. But I have to update it because I came home and charged my phone, only to discover the issues with the screen. It isn't working well! And the guy at the iProTech noticed the issues too- because we both tried to exit the Yelp page and it didn't work, but he shrugged it off without mentioning it. The top parts of my phone aren't swiping. Now I'm trying to text with someone and it's glitching, and then I made a call with 'voice' but couldn't 'end' the call due to the bottom part o the screen not working too. Do not go there! I actually was satisfied with the previous service getting my husbands iPhone fixed last year so I brought my iPhone and iPad to get the screens repaired today. Both my iPhone and iPad screens had dark gradients across after getting those repaired. When I asked the technician, he said those are not the original parts and that they do not give money backs. I even talked to the general manager located in San Francisco. He was even worse! He screamed and yelled at me. He told me that he'll just give someone else's broken screen back (because my screen was in trash elsewhere) and that I can put them back myself! He told me that my original screens already had the black gradients across prior to getting them fixed (complete lie!). COMPLETE FALSE ADVERTISEMENTS!!! They DO NOT USE the original parts, they DO NOT give warranties, they DO NOT provide 100% satisfaction guarantees! I was completely ripped off getting my iPad and iPhone fixed!!!!
