So recently when my wife and I decided to have our carpeted floors replaced with vinyl flooring, the first place we went to was Hernandez Wholesale Flooring. We met with Steven, who did a great job explaining the process. Steven is extremely knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful and patient, and he helped us select the proper flooring for what we were looking for. Steven then put us in contact with Kenny, who helped install our new flooring and oversaw the project. Kenny came to our house the same day we first spoke over the phone and he provided us with a cost estimate and timeline for how many days it would take to complete the project. Once everything was in place, the work began. Kenny and his team did an OUTSTANDING job installing the flooring. His team showed up on time every day, they were extremely friendly, professional and very skilled. They also stayed within the timeframe of how long the job would take, which isn't always the case with this kind of work. After the project was completed, Kenny did a final walkthrough to ensure we were happy with the work he and his team had done. To say that my wife and I are happy with how our floors turned out is an understatement. The final product FAR EXCEEDED our expectations! We are so happy we chose Hernandez Wholesale Flooring and we're so grateful for the outstanding customer service provided by Steven, Kenny and the rest of their team. We highly recommend Hernandez Wholesale Flooring to anyone looking to upgrade their floors at a very competitive price.

For my parents' water-damaged floors in the El Monte area, I contacted at least a dozen flooring…read morecontractors. Some came out. A few sent estimates. Roberto was the only one who arrived the very next day and followed up promptly with a detailed, insurance-ready estimate. This wasn't just a standard flooring job. It involved water damage, asbestos abatement clearance, and insurance coordination. As the daughter trying to manage logistics while keeping my elderly parents calm and reassured, responsiveness mattered more than anything. Roberto consistently communicated clearly and answered questions without hesitation. His team installed over 900 square feet of vinyl plank flooring throughout the home -- bedrooms, hallway, kitchen, and living areas. The finished floors are beautiful. The installation is clean, level, and professionally trimmed. You can tell care was taken. What I appreciated most was the sense of steadiness. There were no surprise charges, no shifting scope, no last-minute complications. His pricing aligned with the insurance scope, and once abatement was complete, the project moved forward smoothly and finished within the expected timeframe. When you're helping aging parents navigate repairs, you're not just hiring a flooring contractor -- you're looking for someone reliable and communicative who won't add stress to an already stressful situation. Roberto delivered on that. I'm very grateful, and I would confidently recommend American Imperial Flooring to anyone in El Monte needing vinyl plank flooring installation or insurance-related repairs.

Friendly customer service through the phone when I asked about availability/quantity of corrugated roofing panels. Then at the store the staff would help find the appropriate wood screws. Whereas in the past I remembered older folks staffing the store, now it's mostly younger guys and gals though knowledgeable all the same. The customer service at this store has been very disappointing. While the prices may be lower, the…read morelevel of service is unacceptable. Very few employees speak Spanish, which makes communication difficult for many customers. It is important to have staff who can assist customers in both English and Spanish. In addition, getting help from an employee takes an extremely long time. During my visit, I asked a cashier to hold an item for me while I continued shopping and planned to purchase it. Later, I discovered that the item had been sold to someone else. I found this very frustrating and unprofessional. What was even more disappointing was that the manager did not seem concerned about resolving the situation or addressing my complaint. I do not enjoy shopping here because of the poor customer service. Many of my construction employees and coworkers have shared similar experiences and have told me they avoid this store because of the service. Management and ownership should understand that customer service is just as important as pricing. If customers do not feel valued and respected, they will choose to spend their money elsewhere.

We decided to support local woman owned small business and loved that they have stellar reviews on…read moregoogle. However, after dealing with this business, I'm beginning to think some of the Google reviews are fake. We are not happy with their return policy. We will not be doing business with them in the future nor do we recommend doing business directly with them. I know they are a Costco vendor. We suggest going through the Costco route if you want to proceed (with caution). If something happens and you're not happy, you can always complain to Costco (which values your business more than these people). Buyer beware : 1. We bought 2 containers of roll cote ($375 each, which was $125 more than floor&Decor. Floor&dedor has it for $250 each) when we went to return one unused bucket, they refused to take it stating that the outside of the bucket is too dirty to take in. I didn't think it was too dirty bc when we received them, it was not spotless either. The container was sealed. 2. We bought mohawk lvp planks from them, and double checked to make sure they're returnable. They confirmed that they are. However, when my husband went to return a pack we didn't use, they said they cannot accept anything less than 250 sqft. They also state any special orders are not returnable. This information was not communicated with me prior. BOTTOM LINE: do business with big names like Costco or Home Depot if you like no hassle return policy.

Pedro was very polite and smiled the whole time. He was also very respectful! Omar was also nice and professional, who directed the install. And then went to another site. Within the first 6 months I noticed all the defects of the chips and cracks again, without anything dropping or dragging on it. I got the BUCKTHORN 10MM 59 1/2"X 9 1/3" OAK PLAINS. I would go with a company who will back its "durability and quality" claims. I was so excited too, as I loved the overall look and feel, but constantly dread seeing newly chipped areas. I submitted a claim, and no response. Regardless of replacement, there's a cost to labor, and who will handle that? Buyer beware. I regret not having done more research. I really relied on the shop that sold this and claimed it was a good company. Major buyer's remorse here. ;(
