Got the blackwater canyon Texas brown vinyl plank. It fit together so well. Very well made. No issues in install. We'll see how well it holds up over time. So far, no visible scratches when we put our furniture back and our 60 lb dog has run around a bit. I called their California customer support about whether I need a moisture barrier in the main level in Texas. The gal was very knowledgeable and helpful. So far, happy with this floor. I love the color. My installer should have spent a bit more time looking for concrete floor imperfections before he put the planks on. But that's not the planks' fault. read more

Then he started weaving around traffic like he was racing an F1 but in reality he's in a slow Nissan van. Do better and please retrain this person on how to drive. They are a bunch of crooks thieves. Rotem the owner would steal from his mom if he could. They do wholesale and retail pretend to be strictly wholesale. They cheat on their laminate flooring. At least for the last five years and their vinyl. It only costs seven hundred dollars to do the test actually a little less... yet this company goes around in bad mouth every other band which is why they've been sued numerous times and are in constant lawsuits... please do your homework before considering purchase of this brand... i know their original owner and he's a nice guy.However you too is not allowed in the country due to fraud. Take your business elsewhere and invest in a good quality floor that would actually last and isn't manufactured in China using cheap plastics. The previous owner of our home had this garbage installed and we wanted to replace a couple planks- turns out, it was a discontinued color. So the solution is to get rid of everything and spend a couple extra grand just because a few planks chipped! What a genius way to siphon money from the general public. There are no words to describe how rude the customer service and the manager Anna is here too. They seem to not know anything about the product they sell or have any accountability. If you expect customers to spend thousands of dollars on you, you can at least treat them like humans, actually know what you're selling and not have such a condescending tone. I am a general contractor that purchased republic floors ultra vinyl plank flooring. It began separating and lifting becoming unsafe for the occupants (in their 80's and 90's) republics rep refused to come out and look at the problem and refused to stand behind an obviously faulty product , offering no help whatsoever. I ended up replacing it my self at a cost to me of$9262 I am now filing small claims court papers trying to get only $6250 which is the most a business can sue for in small claims court. Floor buckled after a year with moisture barrier. they called an inspector to see if it was an installation problem or quality of the product. it ended up being there trash product. 3 years later will not replace my customers floor. They have a manager named Edgar who never got to me or refuses to send my floor...and still wants to charge for freight. read more

We had the Republic Design Pro Series Lion Creek LVP installed by professionals 4 years ago. About 1 years ago I started noticing lifting on the edges, not I have about 30 planks that have splinted on the edge. They started small, 2-3 inches long, but have now reached 8.5" long. It looked beautiful until this started happening. When we walk on it, it makes cracking noises in some areas. Been dealing with the installer byt now turning my attention to the company. We thought this would be a durable product but unfortunately it has not been. We love the look of the Great Oregon Oak but with two little kids and a dog - I'm not sure this floor will hold up for more than a few years. It scratches super easy! I would not recommend this for anyone with pets or with yochildren. read more

We used Republic SPC flooring for our kitchen, entry way and a bathroom and really do love the look and the fact that all you need is water to clean it. If you run into a problem a few drops of DAWN dish detergent is all you need to clean it good as new. This addition to our home along with new carpeting has really updated our home We used a local retailer for this flooring; Rostock Furniture here is Caldwell, Idaho. I like doing business with people who are here in my community and I can have face time with the owner who has always been more than helpful when the need arises. read more

I wish I was able to do 0 star. I'm not a negative person and as you can see per my reviews, I always see the best of everything but this company is something else. I just read all the reviews and regretted why I didn't do before my purchase. I bought their product and use for my flooring. Before even I finish my upstairs I start cleaning as it goes. I noticed the almost any stain or drop, hardly come off. (I understand the glue that they use for flooring if harder ti clean but I'm not talking about just glue) Even if I drop a pice of fruit and not clean right away it makes almost permanent stain. I call the company and they send their representative Albert. He told me that I have to clean right away otherwise I would stay. I'm a working mom and work over 10 hr a day . I can't keep running after kids with a mop all they long. And their response was really rude. Pls avoid this company and the product. read more

My Republic SPC floor was installed in July 2019. It started failing in mid- 2020. The tongue that connects the two pieces of flooring together Is VERY thin and breaks leaving a very sharp edge. I have used painter's tape to secure the two pieces together so as to not cut myself. The installer came out and replaced several failing floor tiles. Shortly thereafter more tiles exhibited the same failure. After many phone calls and two letters, a representative of Republic Flooring and the installer came out to evaluate the failure and tell me what my options were and be in contact with me. Sent a follow-up communication to them on their web page as well in July 2021. Haven't heard from anyone since. Meanwhile, I have blue tape in several areas of my house to keep me and my dogs from getting cut. Very POOR customer service and very POOR product. Karen B read more

Byer Beware! Their product is crap and they won't stand behind it. Purchased vinyl flooring from them and it chipped and cracked. The channel system is very difficult to work with. I was asked to send back 2 boxes so they could research the problem and got a video of a guy in his office putting 5 pieces together side by side. When I addressed his method and explained that they should be stagggered he supposedly did another video, which I never got. They offer to refund me $2500 dollars on $6000 dollars of product. An installer presented their flooring to us to use. I had some questions on the actual flooring - and their Triple Moisture Protection. I try to do online research, and begin to see all the negative reviews for customer service. I then call them ask to talk to someone regarding the Laminate flooring. By far the worst customer service ever! I ordered flooring from here and they tried giving me 2 different kinds because they didn't have enough in stock for the amount of sqft I needed. They had some here and some in their Hayward location and wanted to charge me the service fee to transfer the flooring down here after I already ordered the floor and was there picking it up! When I asked for them to void the transfer fee since I already ordered and here they basically laughed and told me NO! I Set up a new account with this company. They charged a deposit of $80.00 for samples. samples are not always available I had to go back a couple of times to secure a sample for my customer. I returned the sample and placed an order. I was quoted a lower price but was charged more. I was not given a breakdown of the charges and the applied credit I have. instead, I was given a packing slip. I later discovered the discrepancy through my banking and bookkeeping and called the company's accounting to verify. the accounting cooked the numbers and claimed a price increase took effect. I was NOT given an answer to why an invoice showing the charge breakdown was not given. I was warned about this company's unscrupulous accounting but did not think much of it since it was a small order. read more

Terrible service today. There was 2 girls in the front, one training and the other one who apparently didn't want to train her. I told the woman in customer service twice my order was emailed, it took Atovia 20 minutes to find it. At one point, Atovia stood there and took money out of her bra to give someone lunch money all the while I was standing there waiting for my order. She was very curt and rude with me. I was going to ask to speak to someone else, but I had a 3:00pm appt I had to be at.... I never had issues before with any of the other reps but this left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Would give zero stars if possible. Stay away from this company, customer service is so bad!! No one returns phone calls/messages/e-mails, you get absolutely nowhere. We have had problems with our floors from day one, they are making cracking sounds when we walk on it, and their allowance of 1/4in over 6 feet allows for movement/pockets between the flooring and the foundation which you feel when you walk on it. Albert came out to my house and said it was an install issue, then turned around and told the installer that "some floors just make noise" and of course that's all the installer needed to here to wipe his hands of us. It's a floating floor after all, its going to move. Albert never returned my calls, e-mails or messages, never kept me informed of what was going on in my case. He offered to give me a couple;e names of flooring inspectors to help figure out the problem, but I never heard from him again. I reached out to the company for help, talked to Ross, and got the exact same treatment. Ignored, never got any return call, e-mail nothing!! Found an inspector on my own and his findings were: because of the above-mentioned install allowance, (most are 1/8in, but not Republic) the interlocking pieces are rubbing on each other when we walk on it (the cracking sound) and will eventually break, causing us to replace the floor/pieces. I could go on and on, but Please stay away!! you'll be doing your self a huge favor!! read more

I wish I had stuck with what I used for my upstairs, which was Harmonics Camden Oak at a fraction of the cost with no issues what so ever! My installer talked me into Republic Flooring AC4, and right off it bubbled, chipped and scratched! It has been 3 years and I have had to be very careful not to drop anything on it or pull furniture on it. The transition had a water spill (dog bowl), and although I cleaned it up immediately, it ended up eventually breaking off in a 2 foot piece in the middle. Never mind that the installer from Thumbtack stuck me with 2 plus boxes. I don't think the damaged areas can be replaced because its tongue and groove, I believe, but I will try to see. Service is really bad seriously! Like last review, every order has problem. Sales reps are changing all the times without honoring the previous price which we have put onto the market. The price I confirmed twice yesterday with different people, was increased almost 5% when I placed the order this morning less than 24 hours without any reason.
