Kimchi fried rice with Spam and an egg on top. Pretty good but it didn't hit the taste I was after.

Came in for what I was hoping was going to be a kimchi stir fry with chicken dish. Unfortunately this was not on the menu. They just have the basic kimchi stir fry and I think it had spam in. It. Really didn't hit the spot. I was hoping it would hit but it was good. I will say that it was an awful lot of food which I could only get down 2/3 of it and hated to waste it a whole third but there we are. The free appetizer selections were good and plentiful and they kept bringing them until we told them no more

I first checked out Ireh back in 2023 right when they opened, and I finally made it back again recently. It's located right below Azure Condominiums, making it a super convenient spot to grab a bite. I ordered kimchi fried rice again on this visit, and it was just as good as I remembered it. It is loaded with savory pieces of spam. My husband decided to try the seafood kalguksu this time around. The restaurant is clean and the service was quick. It's great to see that they've maintained their quality and friendly service over the years!

Finally got my fix! Been craving this and it was exactly what I wanted. Would have wanted more ramen with it but overall it had great taste and I love everything added inside!

Been here a few times already. The Kimchi Stew is my go to dish. They give free side of kimchi and radish- and they will offer refill. Clean restaurant, average prices. Good service. Definitely a good place to keep in you rotation of dinner spots.

I came here 3 years ago when they first opened and didn't have a yelp page. I returned here and was glad to see them still here. This restaurant is attached to Azure condominiums. They serve classic Korean food with simplicity. The service is always quick and friendly. I tried the seafood kalguksu. It wasn't the best I had, but after eating hawaiian food for a week, it really hit the spot and fulfilled my korean food craving. The restaurant is small and has many takeout orders. Very close to Ala Moana mall.

We love ireh! They have different dishes from other Korean like Kong guksu! I had their mul naengmyeon which was so refreshing with the plentiful serving of daikon and cucumbers. My husband had their green noodle and he enjoyed it with the vinegar and mustard. My son had their mochi & mandoo soup

Parking is available in the Azure Building on Keeaumoku St. We wanted to try someplace new to us. We've been on a hunt for places that are small and intimate that are not too pretentious. Ireh Restaurant is very welcoming and warm. We were shown a table near the window and were told away from the air conditioning. The menu is simple and enough choices to make it difficult for us to choose. We decided on a soup and rice plate and chose Yukgaejang aka Hangover soup and Bulgogi Bibimbap. The soup was good and the Bibimbap was good. My dining partner asked where the beef was? I agree, they could have used a bit more. Overall we enjoyed our meal and will return.

This type of restaurant is my jam! Very casual with good selection of tasty Korean comfort foods at around $20 each entree! Wasn't crowded at around 8pm on a Wednesday night. Also, BYOB. Staff was very cool and chill, too. Definitely would go back!

Ireh chicken was Korean fried chicken with hot chili sauce. $22.95 Meat Jun was flavorful. $23.95 Cold bean noodles had a simple taste. If you want to eat something without spices, you might enjoy it. $20.95 Yukgaejang was not spicy and had a lot of vegetables. $22.95

Amazing service & food!! We were greeted and seated right away! We ordered the Kimchi Seafood Pancake, Cold Buckwheat Noodles with side Kalbi, and Yukgaejang. It came with banchan (kimchi & onions/daikon). We honestly ordered way more than we could eat, but that just meant leftovers for another day. The kalbi was worth it to add on! The Kimchi Seafood Pancake was delicious and the sauce was a little salty so I didn't put too much on it and it was so good! We'll definitely be back!

Me and a friend got to Ireh around 4:30 pm and was seated right away. We decided to order friend mandoo, meat jun, and LA Kalbi. We received the fried mandoo for our appetizer and it was piping hot, full of filling, and delicious. Not too long after our meat jun and Kalbi arrived. Both the meat jun and Kalbi was flavorful and soft. The service and food was amazing! Can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu.

Really love the rice cake and mandoo soup. It's a bit of a small place but there's hardly any people there. The service was great. They gave us some tea and water when we first walked in. The food came out fast and was delicious. Another great Korean restaurant to go to in Hawaii

This got me worried that no one will see us when we raise our hands but thankfully our server was helpful towards us. My brother and I ordered the prix fixe (prime beef 9 course meal), and some parts of it got me confused as the cost is per person but there were certain selections (such as choosing between corn cheese and steamed egg) that you only get to choose one for the TABLE instead of per PERSON. It was unfortunately not indicated on the menu. The meat quality was good, and some of the banchans were great (kimchi and potato salad). I also liked their corn cheese as it helped balance the flavor of the meats. However, for the price of $77 per person, I am not certain if the experience was worth the price tag. Maybe next time I'll try their Lunch Specials as it may have better value for money.

The food was really good, and I would definitely recommend the bossam if you're with a group. The meat is super soft and flavorful, and even the half order was a generous portion. The restaurant gives off Korean pub vibes, decently sized, and best suited for smaller groups. We ordered a variety of food: chicken combo, kimbap, bulgogi, bossam, and spicy rice cakes. The chicken was okay, but not something I'd order again. The spicy sauce was drenched all over the chicken and was very spicy. The regular crispy chicken didn't have enough salt for me and was overcooked.

We were told the waiter was the owner, must be under a new owner and if that's true, his behavior was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend eating somewhere where you're made to feel like an inconvenience. My soon do bu tofu soup was literally thrown onto the table, causing some of it to spilt over on the side. We were not given enough chopsticks, and when we asked for straws because the ones we had broke, his attitude became even worse. He started slamming things around, and when we tried to get his attention, he clearly heard us, laughed, said something under his breath and walked away. Thankfully, the other person working with him came over and helped us. At that point, I couldn't even enjoy my food because of how uncomfortable and unwelcome we felt. I ended up asking for my food to be packed to go. The overall atmosphere felt extremely toxic, rude, and unwelcoming. What made it even more disappointing was that we were there during a time when it wasn't even busy. I will not be returning, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.
