The cashier Angela, was very friendly however, the process of getting my phone was irritating and the result was not what I was expecting. I came in at 11:00 to drop off my phone and they said it would be done in 2 hours. I came at 1:45 to see if it was done but there was a sign at door saying that they would be back at 2:30; however, she didn't come till a little past 3:00. I saw groups of people come and go and I decided to call the store twice. No one picked up and when she arrived I noticed that there was someone in the back the entire time. They were still not finished with my phone so I had to wait a bit more. Finally, when I compared my screen to another iPhone, the screen was noticeably dimmer. read more

Got information ahead of time from Jeff, very informative. Went in about a half hour later to get my cracked screen fixed. Price was $59+tax (I was expecting at least $80). The girl at the desk was friendly and took a look at my phone. Went through a checklist to see what exactly was wrong with it (phone screen had cracked so bad that the touch screen was being wonky). She told me the pricing for a new screen. They had two different options, one cheaper one more expensive but not once was she pushy about selling me the more expensive one. She told me it would be ready in 40 minutes. Came back a little after 40 minutes and it was ready. She wanted to make sure everything worked well so she asked me to take a picture with camera and make a phone call. Everything worked well. I didn't feel rushed. Will definitely be coming back here if I have any issues with my phone. read more

He fixed my screen completely and even was able to bend my phone back a little bit (without breaking it). I called them on 10/8/19 Since they had repaired my iPad before I thought I would ask them if they can work on laptops and I told him what the problem was they told me bring it in. I took it in with no display, I took them 4 days to look at it. They ordered a motherboard from China, that was the only way they could get it. End result they told me on 11/12/29 that it was it could not be repaired. I would think it should not have taken we over 30 days for a end result. I think it is new people running the place, the other guy was much better and professional. read more

I took my 2017 iPad to another Whittier area iPhone and tablet repair shop and they charged me what I thought was a reasonable amount to replace my broken glass screen. Within a month of that screen replacement, I began to have "ghost" taps- apps closing/opening, screen zooming in/out, buttons in apps being activated... all by themselves. I took the iPad back a few months later when the ghost taps got worse and I could get anything done on the iPad. They kept it a few hours then called and said they had removed and reset the glass screen and charged $30. I took it home and with one day the ghost taps were back. I brought it to iRepair at Whittwood and for just a little more money than I spent on the original repair, they replaced the screen AND replaced a cracked screen on my iPad mini 1. They had it all done in just a few hours and I'm typing this review three days later on my iPad and happy to report the screen is working great! No ghost taps, no problems whatsoever for the past three days. I'm very happy with their work, and was informed when they removed the other screen from that other repair place in Whittier, that they had used regular glue to put it down instead of electronics components glue. Took in an iPad that had a piece of charger cable stuck in the port. I was told that they'd try to remove the piece from the port first. If that didn't work then the port would have to be replaced. The repair took less time than I'd been quoted, and the best part was that they'd been able to remove the piece rather than having to replace it, saving me $30. How many places try to save you money? Big thank you to Jeff the technician. I was frantic the night before knowing that my iPhone charging port was damaged. I did all the cleaning with a q-tip, paper clip, even the edge of a tooth pick. From all those the paper clip seemed to have got the dust bunny funk from the charging port. However still, battery dead! I gave them a call but no answer, I figured I should drive there since maybe they changed a number? Well I see a guy standing waiting for the store to open it would be the technician Jeff. I think the store owners were running late, so he asked if he can help. Told him my problem and told him I was sure it was the charging port since I switched charging cables etc, he said "let me take a look at it, I can clean it" I said I tried that already but I figured hey why not it's worth a shot he's the professional. He used his tweezer tool and I was amazed how much clumps of debris he was able to get out. I told him how much (store wasn't open yet mind you) he noticed my screen was cracked and said just come in and get your screen replaced. I went home to see if my phone could charge and 5mins later my phone comes alive! Went back got him a thank you lunch gift card for giving me peace a mind and got that new screen. There are still good and honest people out there that conduct great business. Will recommend to anyone having phone issues. Oh yeah, also reasonable-fair prices.
