From the first phone call, to checking in, meeting with the Dr. Grey BEFORE he even examined me, to the exam, to meeting with the financial coordinator to actually scheduling the procedure (3 root canals and 3 crowns+ a cleaning), I left the office feeling already so confident in them and nothing had even been done yet!! Three weeks ago I had my sedated procedure and yesterday I had my permanent crowns put on! What an amazing experience!! I felt barely a touch when he put the needle in my mouth. The second time I was terrified because I didn't take percocet first and I thought it was going to hurt this time. It did NOT! He is so gentle and so aware of causing any pain. There were some moments when I jumped a bit when he was working on the cavity but nothing I couldn't handle. My big thing has always been that needle in my mouth and now I have nothing to fear anymore. Besides being a fantastic dentist, his staff is top notch! I had lost several front teeth and needed implants, and Dr. Wachtel handled the whole process with such warmth and compassion that it made an overwhelming situation feel manageable. She clearly cared about getting the outcome right -- not just functionally, but in a way that restored my confidence. Dr. Wachtel has since moved on, and the staff from my time there has likely turned over completely -- but what impressed me recently is that the current team was just as wonderful. When I reached out years later needing help obtaining my old records for an ongoing medical case, they were responsive, helpful, and went out of their way to assist me without hesitation.
