For our company Hilton is the preferred vendor, we had the luxury of valet parking. It was a good thing, too, because street parking was very limited and hard to find in the area. Although the hotel was about 30 minutes away from the airport, it was conveniently located near where I needed to be. Upon arriving, I was impressed with the cleanliness and security of the hotel. Access to the elevators was granted through the use of digital keys, adding an extra layer of protection. My room was located on the ninth floor and was a corner room that had a Peloton bike. I was pleasantly surprised by this feature, as it allowed me to work out without having to leave my room. It was a great way to start my day without having to interact with other guests in the fitness area. The hotel also had a full fitness center, which was nice to have as an option. Apple Fitness was connected to Peloton, making it even easier to work out. I highly recommend taking advantage of this amenity, as it was a great way to stay active during my stay. The hotel also had a nice running and walking path around the property, providing plenty of opportunities to get outside and enjoy some sunshine and fresh air. The restaurant located in the lobby, called Punch Bowl, was also a pleasant surprise. Check out my review on that for more information. It was hard to find accommodations that fit the budget I had for a recent work trip, and I was so relieved to find Longwood Inn. First, Longwood Inn is a Victorian mansion originally built in the early 1900's. It was later made into the inn, which means it has some eccentricities. For example, the bathroom for my room was actually across the hall yet still private. I had a separate key just for that bathroom. My room was small yet clean and comfortable. It was easy to relax each night, while watching TV or reading in bed. And while I passed a few other guests while coming and going, I never heard them when I was in my room. It was very quiet. There are several common areas, including the foyer, dining room and patios. The kitchen is free for guests to use. Check in and out was easy, and I was able to get early access to my room to store my luggage. Lastly, Longwood Inn is a picturesque two blocks from the T stop. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed one day in Hyatt in Waltham and it was a terrible experience so decided to move to Watertown Marriott in residential because it was more convenient for us. First night in Boston we visited the property and the front desk lady denied us because she couldn't find two rooms next to each other so we came back again next morning to talk to the management. The front desk supervisor Ms. Luana Fortes, helped us tremendously and she talked to her manager Korinne Robertson to give us a wonderful rate since we were staying a long period of time and also she managed to give us a free parking during our stay. I am very grateful for Luana's kindness and should mention that if it was not for her profession and motivation on her duties and job we would have taken our business elsewhere. General the hotel is very clean and good location. Very convenient walking distance for shopping. It's next to a huge Target and Arsenal mall which has a lot of options for dinning and shopping and movie theater... Breakfast was terrible! The breakfast team is very lazy and they take a lot of time to refill the food and tables in the morning were very dirty. My wife had to clean our table every morning for us to use it. Options are very limited and morning coffee was bad. The rest of the staff cleaning team inside the rooms were good and kind and did a good job. The room was so cozy and big, the bathroom was HUGE! I got a suite, so it had a kitchen, a room with a pull out couch and a pretty nice sized bedroom and a huge bathroom like I said. Upon entering we had a street view which I enjoyed and realized this place was so well put together. The vibes were just perfect. The bed was super comfy. I literally had no complaints at all. They helped us find parking, get our T passes and even went through the map with us. There is a T stop right outside their house so you can take it everywhere downtown! The hotel offered a medical discounted rate and was very clean, all the staff from the front desk to the cleaning service workers were so friendly and helpful! There are plenty of outlets, a mini fridge (no Freezer), microwave and a Keurig in the room. They supply face soap and a generic body wash and shampoo/conditioner combination in one (I always bring my own so I cannot tell you how it is, but it's there). The bathroom is separated into two parts with the sink outside the area the toilet and shower are allowing for privacy when using the actual toilet/showering. One nice thing is that you can get to the food court (McDonald, subways, Charlie's steak, dunking, coffee stand and some other ethnic foods), CVS and the Longwood bar and grill from the elevator in the hotel, so you never have to go outside! There is a beautiful green, quad areas a couple blocks away at Harvard medical school. There are Adirondack chairs, little tables, cornhole, and plenty of shady areas to relax and read in or play on the green space. It was great to have a place to hangout outside of the hotel room! Now outside of breakfast, the rooms aren't bad...but they need a lot of touch ups. Our toilet flushes...really slowly. The lid of the tank doesn't match the tank size so when you flush, the plug doesn't come up all the way so it takes much longer to flush. The shower water doesn't come up to temp easily either and our shower handle is so loose it can come off. Like it doesn't align to the proper temperature either so you have to guess approximately where it is. Also when we checked in, whoever did housekeeping forgot to give us a comforter. I ran with it the first night thinking maybe due to summer that it was just the sheets. But then I went to my parents room and my husband and I realized they had a comforter. So then we had to request for one from housekeeping... On top of it all, while they offer your usual toiletries, the bottles are so small they only last for three showers or so. In turn, yet again, I had to grab more from housekeeping. Honestly, I wish the previous company came back...cause the current one, really isn't cutting it as a three star hotel. This is starting to function like a 2.5 star hotel situation.
