So disappointed. They rush their pedicures even if there is no one waiting. Horrible service and expensive!

I went there today to get pink and white refil. My wait was thirty mins long. And the women who I got only started to fill my pink. When I told her I wanted the white filled she told me no and that I did not need it done. I said I still wanted the white filled and she seemed very annoyed. After 2 and a half hours of sitting in the chair, I was not happy with the look of my nails, they looked sloppy. I also left w/out her finishing them bc i could no lomger sit there. Even though I left w.out them being completed, she stil charged me full price! Do NOT go here!!!!!! read more

I have enjoyed nail services here in the past, but had a surprisingly painful experience today with a pedicure. The technician cut the corner of a toe nail after digging into the skin, then proceeded to keep anchoring the foot down by pressing her fingernail into the raw patch of skin from under where she had earlier snipped. The leg massage portion that is usually relaxing involved lots of hard pinching this time, as did the arm massage while seated to dry the pedicure. Hot stone use usually feels wonderful; however, this specific technician's technique was to press the warmed stones hard into the bony parts of the feet versus the padded areas. Ouch! Similarly to the painful leg "massage", repeatedly pinching hard down a client's triceps was uncomfortable. The technician seemed sweet, but oblivious to the discomfort. Spa pedicures are the best. They only have two people experienced to give good pedicures which is why I see ladies frustrated with the long wait. When I get a pedicure I want to relax and enjoy the experience. This is the only nail salon that interrupts your pedicure by insisting on doing your nails at the same time. It is extremely annoying stretching your across your lap so the nail tech can do your nails. Needless to say when you are getting a refill and a pedicure at the same time your nails or feet will suffer. My nails look like crap!!!! They were not buffed down so they are all lumpy and filed crooked. The polish is so uneven. I paid $113.00, left a $30.00 tip and my nails are terrible and the polish on my toes are a mess. The owner Tea is a professional and very good, but I never get her. My daughter always gets her to do her nail designs so I know she is good. Tea's mother is super sweet but cannot do nails well. If you want to get your nails done request Tea. Pedicures only if you are not getting your nails done too. Get your nails one week and your pedicure the following week. The nails salon is nice but I don't like loud rap music when I'm trying to relax, come on it's a spa......Play soft and relaxing music. And I don't like when mother's bring babies and small children into a nail spa. People are trying to enjoy their experience and crying babies or children running wild really stresses me out!!!! The owner should put up a sign, "NO CHILDREN UNDER 5" this is not a daycare of child friendly. read more

I have been going to Iris Spa for 10 years. Originally a customer at her Trooper location but when she moved to Lansdale I went along. It is worth the drive to get the kind of customer service I receive. The facility is welcoming and nicely decorated but most important it is clean. I have read some of the reviews about the language barrier with some of the girls....we need to be more tolerant and patient. I have found that they appreciate the effort of inclusion and they want to do the best job they can. When they speak to each other in Koren I never feel like they are talking about me but about business. I have never been disappointed in any of the services (and I have tried the all). It is a wonderful place....it is my little getaway where I can relax and just do something for myself. read more

I honestly don't understand these negative reviews! I have been to many nail salons in the past, and Iris is by far my most favorite. It is the nly one I'll go to. Great mani's and pedi's, as you wait for your nails to dry they come over and give you a great shoulder rub (my favorite part!). They always do a great job with my eyebrows! And, as a special trat one day I brought my 4 year old, and they were so kind and sweet to her! Over the top! They did her finger and toe nails for a great price and even gave her a little massage while she waited for her nails to dry, too, so she'd be just like mom. Everyone in the shop came over to tell her how nice her nails looked. She was RAVING about it for days and has asked to go back. Iris has a great rewards program that I've never seen at other places. And they are CLEAN! I can't tell you how many places I've gone where either I can visibly see the dust/ food laying around, or have gotten an infection on a nail. This has NEVER happened in the many years Ive been going to Iris. The people are all genuinely nice and kind. I really enjoy going to Iris and recommend you check it out too. This nail salon is very unprofessional. I came in on the first day of my vacation, as a treat. I rarely get manicures anymore and was very excited, also very excited to find a place in the town which I live. The lady who checked me in was not friendly and she didn't even tell me to take a seat. The seating is very confusing because there is not a designated waiting area. I waited for over 25 minutes, during this time no one came up to me to tell me they would be with me soon or anything! After I sat and read a magazine for another 7 minutes or so, I was rudely interrupted by my nail technician saying "excuse me! ok". She never said hello, rushed the entire service, massaged my hands rough and sloppily and for about 10 seconds! She quickly wanted to collect her payment though, and turns out I couldn't use my debit card there. After my 1 minute poorly done back massage, she thanked me and went over to her seat and started filing her own nails. No one else here was friendly either. And in my opinion, being in the industry myself, some of the younger staff here oughta put on some clothes that fit, it is not professional to almost see your butt cheeks. I wouldn't waste your money. I'll be returning to my previous nail salon, it's worth the longer drive! read more
