Pretty good place for a quick chair massage. Never had to wait, price is right and they do a decent job. Typically just get 20min. Only gripe would be that they do it in the back which gets a bunch of foot traffic, however I could care less. They do have a table massage, however it's not that kind of party; tried it once and wouldn't again. My wife really likes manicures and pedicures here. Location is hard to beat so consider this place a winner. Probably worth only 3 stars however giving 4 to offset crappy reviews from when they had different owners. read more

I was a regular customer and enjoyed going to this salon but unfortunately I was charged $22 to get my gel manicure removed today. This was extremely disappointing given I got my manicure / pedicure / waxing done there weeks before and go pretty regularly. As a business owner who normally doesn't write reviews, I feel the need to let people know this was outrageous and the business owner / staff did not even care to mitigate the situation and instead not only lose me as a returning customer but my sister in law and friends and now received a bad review. It would have been more worth it for them to reimburse me part of my bill than deal with this non-sense. Poor business etiquette! Do better! read more

I used to live near this nail salon for 6 years. I went at least once a week, and had good experiences. I moved a few towns over, so I had to find a new place--but still come to this one once in a while when I am in the area. I have also referred many people to this salon. They have a card system where you get a free manicure with every 10 visits. Since I don't live near here anymore, it took me about 2 years to get to 10 visits. When I went to give in my card for my free manicure, the owner told me that they don't accept services done more than two years ago. I asked him to point out where it said that--and he could not. He literally took white out and crossed out my manicures that were over two years old!! If I don't live near here, and don't spend money here often, why would you be so petty about a $10 manicure by literally crossing off services that I did pay for? Wouldn't you want to honor what I have earned to keep me coming back? It's not about the $10...it's the principle of standing in front of me crossing things out when there is no written policy about this "two year rule." Bad business. read more

I had a great experience at this nail salon today! All the staff is so sweet and kind and they are doing an excellent job following safety protocols for Covid-19, there is plexiglass and they are doing temperature checks and keeping a log/checklist of all employees and customers to make sure everyone is staying safe. I have been a loyal customer to Iris Nails for many years and I will definitely keep coming back! I was a little nervous to get my nails done but they were very clean and safe! I picked a nail polish color of a brand that they charge $5 more.  They did not tell me that beforehand.  There is no sign on the row of nail polishes that there is a premium of $5. I told them that they did not tell me beforehand that there was a $5 extra for using that particular nail color. One day, to wait out traffic, I went into this nail salon for a pedicure, something I RARELY do because I usually do my own mani and pedi. Fast forward to when I paid...the manicurist said she had to add $5 because she used paraffin wax on my heels and $4 extra because I picked a nail polish color of a brand that they charge $4 more. They did not tell me that beforehand. There is no sign on the row of nail polishes that they are at a premium of $4. I didn't want to argue at that point since I was tired after a long day of work, but to this date, I am still feeling like I was scammed. $4 extra for using that particular nail color? I know that brand of nail polish is $7 if I was to BUY a bottle....Still, I would have been okay with that if there was actually a sign there to say that those nail polishes are additional $4 more to use. I have been coming here for years and years and will continue coming back. The manager Richard is a great man, and always tried to make you happy and comfortable. All the ladies working there are so funny and professional and nice. My nails always come out excellent, they really try and make them perfect every time! Ok. Place needs a major upgrade. Not the cleanest. Massage chairs are cracked and dingy. Water in foot spa was lukewarm at best. But prices are the same as other places with decent equipment. Nothing special about pedicure. Did decent job on nails but massage was eh. People standing in the way. Kind of a dirty place. Guy in charge looked like he fell in some leaves before he came to work. My person who did my nails looked at me after I tipped her and reminded me how much the bill was and stood there waiting for more money. Wow. I said no that's it. Very rarely have to wait and they have a great selection of OPI and Essie colors. They give good attention to your pedicure and don't rush you through. Their "Special" pedicure which includes a massage and callus treatment is slightly more expensive than others, however their pedicure chairs are AMAZING. Feels like there is a person on your back! Great little nail salon! This place is very clean and the staff are very detail oriented when working on your nails. I love the owner (or manager?) of the place, he's the most friendly Asian man I've met. The staff are always polite and seem happy to be there. Their prices are a few dollars higher than the local competition but their salon is much cleaner and nicer so I don't mind splurging every now and then. If you go on your lunch break, be sure to make an appointment, they get pretty busy in there. You can pay with your card, tip has to be cash. BUT they have reward cards and if you pay in cash they mark you down for 2 visits instead of one so I recommend paying your whole bill in cash. Add-ons for your mani-pedi include quick dry top coat for $1 and 10 min massage for $12. read more

My daughter and I went for regular mani/pedi. She treated me, which was very sweet. While I was getting my feet done I realized I didn't have any cash for a tip. I asked my daughter to go across to the bank for me (she was already done). She informed me she has $2.00 and that's what she gave to her person as well. When my nails were done I gave my nail technician the $2.00. She looked at in disgust and said "15". I asked my daughter if she paid, she had. While we were sitting at the dryer, the owner comes over and said there is a REQUIRED 15% or more tip in cash. I was appalled! I always thought that a tip was at the discretion of the customer. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The people who work here are kind and the atmosphere is soothing. Their equipment is clean and up to date. I had an incident where one of my tips fell off and they went above and beyond to take care of it, basically giving me a whole new re enforced set of tips with glass gel, the works at no price. But it was so fantastic I tipped of course. They even gave me a change of color. These people really care about the work that leaves their shop and I appreciate that in a business. Having lived nearby for over 10 years I was never attracted to this place. Since I needed a manicure for an important meeting and was also short on time, I decided to give them a try. I purchased the "long wear" polish at $14.00 and was a little disappointed. The technician was very fast, which was good for me time-wise, but the quality was subpar. I was not thrilled with the fact that there was no LED or UV light to dry the long wear polish, as this actually seals it and makes it last longer. There were gaps in the strokes and it didn't last merely 4 days, let alone the 7 the sign claimed. All in all, I was not impressed with this place. read more

I've never had such a horrible experience at a nail salon. The pedicure was painful and not at all relaxing. The girl rushed through my manicure and slipped while she was cutting my cuticles, taking off a piece of skin and hurt me a lot. The bleeding got worse when I got up to dry my hands and I should have gotten better service at that point (especially having already tipped her 20%) and an apology but instead she yelled at me in (what I think was) Korean and gave me the most careless back massage ever, it was insulting. I had been here a few times in the past but after this disaster I will never go back. I wouldn't let them touch my finger anymore and just had to get out of that place but I am still shocked that they let a paying customer walk out the door with my finger covered in blood. read more

I've been going iris nail salon for a long time, but this summer I went there to get tips and four days later when I'm in Florida the nails started to come off. It was quite embarrassing. The technician told me she experienced, but it was obvious she had no experience. She just wanted to make quick and money on me. Terrible service yesterday and they were very rude to me! I asked for a Gel mani/regular pedi. Every salon I have been to matched your gel nail and exact regular foot color. Apparently, they did not have the matching gel nail color in the royal blue they used in my pedicure. She removed my old gel polish and all and still did not tell me she did not have the gel color that matched my pedicure. She did a shotty pedicure, but I let her get away with it. Not realizing that was the prelude to what was to come. She found what she thought was a Royal blue ( although the bottle said "Purple") and proceeded to paint my nails. I informed her that was not the right color and she persissted it was! She also insisted I got a french manicure or another color. I have an event to attend where I need to match both my pedicure and manicure. and its my damn choice as a paying customer! I told her to just let me pay for my pedicure since they did not have the matching color. She then tried to add to my bill a price for a manicure. I told her to remove that because I did not get a manicure. She argued with me and called her manager. They both spoke in another language and he did not even listen to me. He charged me $28 for the pedicure only on my card and then proceeded to yell at me "Dont come back!" and he continued yelling as I was collecting my belongings and headed out the door. I have never been treated like that ever in my life. I told all my co workers my experience as they some may go there after work. I would never go back there and I advise you all to be aware unless you are one to get bad service and treated rudely. read more

I am new to the area and was looking for a new nail spot. Everything was OK until they told me halfway thru my gel nail soak that they were charging me extra money instead of what they originally told me insisting that I had powder gels. I did not have powder gels - I told them like 10 times. They were just normal gels. Either way they had to charge extra to buff them out. On top of that - the manicure was terrible and already smudging. I was about to walk out after drying and the manager chastised me for not tipping. This place is terrible. I've been there a few times, and it never looks clean. But I went there today with my friend because other places were busy. We asked for a mani/pedi and got the typical "pick a color." I know better than that, so I said, "is there a wait" and they said no. So we walked to the back, my friend sat down, but there wasn't anyone assigned to me. As I sat next to my friend over a pedicure basin that hadn't even been cleaned, it became clear that no one was ready. So we asked politely how long it would be, and they said "15 mins." We almost got up and left, but my friend had already started. Meanwhile two more people came in after us and were taken because they had appointments. That's fine, but then why did they tell us they could take us? It wasn't that busy, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt, so even when they said it would be 15 mins, I said fine. Ultimately my friend finished her entire pedicure (35 mins) and there STILL wasn't anyone who could have helped me. Not that it mattered, I had already decided that even though I had been so looking forward to it, there was no way I was giving this place my business. So the woman who did my friend's pedicure sheepishly asked me if I wanted a pedicure... NO THANKS I said. YOU"VE LOST MY BUSINESS... FOREVER! read more
