Doesn't look even open when you walk by, but we saw folks inside and gave it a try. Very glad we did! Polite and friendly, but not overly so. Not pretentious, like some places. More than acceptable IPA selection. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. They cut it for us, prepared perfectly. If you are looking for a cool vibe, low key place, this is it. To begin with I was expecting a cozy night in an Irish pub setting, I was instead greeted with blasting Latino music. Why? On to the food. If their "handhelds" are served with fries, say that on the menu. Not being aware of this my wife and I ordered a side of loaded fries. Had we known we wouldn't have spent the extra money. My reuben was fair. Far from exceptional. Greasy fries. My wife ordered her burger with bacon and no cheese. It came out with cheese and no bacon. Easily rectified yes but at this point I was tired of waiting. On to the service. The waitress, while pleasant, was flighty. Inconsistent at best. Overall just a disappointing experience which was somewhat of a surprise given all of the 5 star reviews. read more

Got the corned beef on Rye and was excellent! Comes with fries. Thick fries were great. Didn't know the sandwich came with a side. Daughter hit a bacon cheeseburger which was very thick and juicy. For starters, they don't give free refills and they don't tell you that until you get the bill! It's already overpriced, but that really put it over the top. My beef tips were decent but the other members of my party complained their foods were a lot more greasy than flavorful. It isn't a real nice restaurant on the inside, either. I'm sure there are better pubs and Irish restaurants in the area. read more

I gave this place a try based off a recommendation from a trusted colleague. Upon entering, the bartender looked at me and did not acknowledge me. She then proceeded to take care of the other patrons before coming back to me. When I inquired about a drink, she rudely responded to me but I still proceed to stay and give the place a try. After about 45 mins, I attempted to order another drink. At this time the place was full of firefighters, regulars, and businessmen. There was also another bartender present. Both of them ignored myself and a friend trying to order a drink. They looked at us, walked back and forth multiple times without acknowledging us, spoke to newer patrons who entered, even serviced a man who came up to the bar after us. After about 7 mins of waiting, a patron who witnessed the disregard then motioned and addressed one of them to service us. At that point we decided to no longer spend our money at the venue. As an educator in the city I was extremely disappointed in how we were treated versus other city workers. The chicken also had noticeable feathers on them. read more

I am only going to give this restaurant a four star review because I have not actually been there and so I can't speak to the ambience. My order was DoorDash to me at my hotel. I was shocked by what a great meal I got. I dinner consisted of five perfectly cooked to my request, lamb chops, mashed potatoes, and beautifully crisp, green beans, and carrots. A decent but unspectacular salad accompanied it. But those lamb chops! I would highly recommend the food. read more

DELICIOUS!!! The food is sooo good. The portions are ample and they have a wide variety of entrees and specials. The salmon bites with the signature sauce is sooo tasty! My granddaughter took me there, telling me a friend of hers is the chef. That was in December, since then I brought my husband, son and my granddaughter last week and yesterday took my sister and her husband (who live in GA) my husband, daughter and son-in-law. Everyone enjoyed the food so much! The waitress was very personable and nice. I've been telling everyone I come in contact with that I've been by this place a million times but never noticed. We've eaten here twice now, and have been pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food on both occasions. It's a nice, simple bar menu (burgers, flatbreads, fish and chips) but everything we've ordered has been fresh, well prepared, and made with high quality ingredients.
