California Burger with a Mango Cart beer
    Stephanie B.

Well, let's be real... a $20 burger in the heart of NYC... that's unheard of. And let me tell you - it was good! I got the California burger with guac and it was on point. The roll was soft and fresh. We were there before a Broadway show. But the World Cup was also on. It was hoppin' they had a very cool back area that was stadium like seating to watch a giant screen. Ok, the service was slow, but you know what, we weren't in a rush. Also, it was hot inside the AC couldn't keep up with the people and the 100 degree heatwave. Overall, I would return. It was bar food. In a bar.

Service was terrible but food was alright and the actual space was a VIBE to watch a Knicks playoff game. They have the perfect setup with seating and TVs. I can't rate them higher on vibes alone but can say if you're looking for a fun party spot to watch sports, this is a great option.

We needed a quick meal before seeing a 7pm show. The location is convenient to numerous theaters and Time Square. Food was basic but good, we had a Caesar salad and quesadillas. If you want a true NY meal, there are many other places I would recommend but if you need a quick bite with friendly service and typical bar food...this place fits the need!

Not too long ago, maybe a few weeks back, I went to Iron Bar Lounge with my cousin and a friend. We were honestly just looking for somewhere simple to pop into--grab a quick bite, warm up, and chill for a bit. Nothing too deep. Overall, it was cool for what it was. I didn't really eat much, but I did try a drink called The Great Gatsby, and I actually really liked it. That was probably the highlight for me. The calamari was good as well, and our friend ordered wings, which were solid too. The vibe was just that--a chill bar vibe. Nothing over the top, nothing bad either. The service was okay, not amazing, but not terrible. Just... fine. I wouldn't say I had a full experience there since we didn't stay long or go all in with food and drinks, but for a quick stop to get out of the cold, have a drink, and relax a bit, it worked. If you're looking for something simple and low-key, Iron Bar Lounge does the job.

This bar and lounge is located in Hells Kitchen, just a quick 5 min walk away from time square. I made reservations ahead of time, but I don't think I needed too. Plenty of seating, decent food options, hookah, hip hop music, DJ, nice bartenders. Fun vibes, not for kids, prices were decent for drinks and food. If you're looking for a sports bar, check this one out.

Stopped into this place while I waited for my train. I ended up having a great time. I was seated quickly and the music was great. Food was average but vibe was awesome.

Mariel cooling down, New York City temperature outside was 98.

We stopped in for a drink after a Broadway matinee show. The drinks and the waiter were so fabulous we decided to stay for a snack. I had the flat bread pizza which was delicious. My daughter had the chicken sliders, she said they were very good. We recommend this place for a light meal and drinks before or after a show.

Once again I scored some tickets to a play and as per usual, bestie and I tried a new spot for our pre-theatre nourishment. It was a Friday evening the first week in March, and time square was busy as always. It took us a little longer to find parking, so once we grabbed a spot we, picked a restaurant close to Booth Theatre. Iron Bar was on the corner and had tables available for immediate seating. It's a bar that offers bar food. Service was quick and staff was pleasant with the exception of one or two, who clearly did not want to be there. We order a couple cocktails that were ok. For food I opted for the Blacken Grilled Chicken sandwhich and bestie ordered the Grilled Chicken Pizza. Both were decent. My fries were good, you know a bar food staple, but my chicken breast was really tender and not dry. Bestie's pizza was also tasty, the pesto sauce was a nice touch. Looking for a quick pre-theatre meal without pomp and circumstance, Iron Bar fits the bill. Just A Note: They can get loud and busy, but it is a bar.

In the theatre district. Food comes out fast, hot and fresh. Service is friendly, nice for pre or post Bway show. The vibe is chill, plenty of screens to watch sports.

This is a really fun bar and lounge. They play great music and I love that they have hookah too. The wings are also pretty good.

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary so we got a reservation, and we had a great time. Service here was absolutely wonderful. We first got their Golden Cobra and their Shinebox. The Golden Cobra was so good. A hint of coffee, passionfruit, and bitters made the cocktail so enjoyable. Their Shinebox ended up being a lot stronger than I expected and so I kindly asked our amazing server if I could get a different one. He ended up surprising me with their Rosalie. Absolutely amazing. Their cocktail menu reads like more of a magazine than a menu, with lots of descriptions on all the cocktails they offer. I went with the "Crowd Work" cocktail, because I love melon and am a sucker for a cocktail with egg whites. It was tasty and well made, came out looking like a work of art. Service here was a bit hard to come by, which was surprising because the bar was half empty. It felt as if they didn't really want us there, and I struggled to be able to order another cocktail (I just went with a dirty martini, which was the right amount of dirty). Death & Co was cool to experience, but I'm not sure I'd come back.

Hookah was good and I loved that it's kept being refill without being asked! Since they weren't super busy and had mostly large groups coming in, we were enjoying ourselves relaxing. This changed when I believe our server left or changed shift. There was this black girl who kept going around and kept looking at our booth clearly wanting us to leave. She ruined it for us.
