Stopped here for dinner on our vacation. Hostess greeted us right away with a smile. Wasn't very busy when we got there at 6pm except at the bar area. Tables were pretty empty, but started filling up as we ate on a Thursday evening. Candace was our server and told us the specials. My husband got the surf and turf which was a special with a 12 oz ribeye with grilled shrimp. I ordered the 8 oz filet and server asked if I wanted any toppings on it. I asked for grilled mushrooms. The food was very good and cooked to perfection and the baked potatoes were hot. My husband asked for a red beer and she accommodated him with a full draw with a small glass of Bloody Mary mix on the side, so he could mix it himself. He said it was very good. We stopped in here for dinner this evening (Friday), and were greeted when we walked in, and seated right away. Our server asked us about drinks, and ran us through the specials, shortly after we were seated. There's plenty of seating around the bar, high top tables, and many tables around the restaurant itself. We decided to split the Caesar salad to start (it comes with tomatoes, bacon, avocados, and red onions). While I could have done without the onion, I really enjoyed this fun twist on a traditional Caesar. On to the main dishes! I went with the prime rib special, and am happy to note that not only did this come out to temperature, but it was also at least an inch thick. Beyond that, it was very flavorful, came with a creamy horseradish, as well as an au jus, for dipping, along with your choice of two sides. I went with the seasonal vegetable (green beans), and a baked potato. My husband went with the filet and was very happy bth with the temperature, and flavor, of the steak. The Mac and cheese is also delightful - it had a roux, and dynamically cheesy flavor to it. Yum! If you're looking for somewhere nearby to stop for a great meal, highly recommend. Very good; we stopped in on December 24, they were open until 8 PM. Waitress was super fast, kind and accommodating. Wings were good, had half and half with bbq and others a hot sauce. Both great, meaty and each seasoning were nicely distributed. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant but nice size. I think there were a few that had no where or family to go to. Salad was good with turkey and trimming. Had 2 prime rib hoagies tasty and au jus could have been a bit more salty and beefy. Fries and onion rigs were great. The original hamburger was nice size and tasty. We liked to have steaks but fairly pricey. read more

Just stopped in for a quick bite and it was almost closing time but everyone was very accommodating and really nice! Had the best pulled pork nachos, would definitely recommend! Service was very nice and had a good selection of beer. Had the largest elk mounts I've ever seen, I'm not really partial to seeing them but it was appropriate for the area!!! read more

The ribeye steak and Philly cheesesteak sandwich were both good. HOWEVER, a side option for the steak was a baked potato, which was ok, at best. A side option for the sandwich was a Caesar salad, which was ordered. When it arrived, just a couple minutes before the main course, much of the lettuce was either wilted or brown. When it was sent back assurance was given a credit would be applied to the bill. Not only was there NO credit on the bill, but there was an additional charge of $10. The salad, was supposed to be a side to the sandwich at no additional charge. After returning to the restaurant I was given a $10 credit to my account, bringing the total paid to the charge I would have been charged to begin with. read more

Great, hot sandwiches tasted wonderful after driving for over an hour looking for somewhere to eat. The service was friendly and prompt. The ambience, with a central bar and stuffed antelope, deer, elk, and other heads adorning the walls was fun. We had hamburgers and Philly Cheesesteaks with onion rings and fries and they were made to perfection. Found this on yelp about 20 miles south of our resort (resort food was unpalatable and we were desperate for a change) and what a FIND! A tidy and clean place with above average ambiance. The fried green tomato caprese was a fun twist on a traditional appetizer. Our ribeye steak was cooked to our request (shout out to Tristan) and the battered onion rings were light and crunchy. We got our appetizers which we wanted to share with our group of 8 and no plates. We finally just used our clean forks and passed the appetizer around. Pretty sure they were short handed. This place is top notch! The interior is decorated very nicely, it is very clean and spacious. The food is extraordinary! I got the smoked salmon and sausage penne, and my partner ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with cheesy potatoes on the side. Everything was cooked fresh, served hot, and was seasoned perfectly. We got a little strawberry rhubarb hand pie for dessert, which was served with ice cream. We arrived shortly after noon on a Saturday, and we were the only ones in there! We were celebrating my birthday and my daughter had the Philly cheesesteak. Our French fries and onion rings were great. For dessert we tried the fried hand pies and every flavor is wonderful. While there we tried the lemon and strawberry-rhubarb hand pies taking home the other flavors. They really are good! I have been here 3 times before. 1st time food was good, I had the pork chop, service was very confused. They had been open only 3 weeks, so I let it go. Tonight it was bad all the way around, 40 minutes to get served, not even a drink. I tried to get a drink at the bar and there was no one there to serve me.
