We finally stopped in last night after finding out about the happy hour deal, and it seriously did not disappoint. The drinks were really good, we all ordered rolls, and everything came out on a sushi boat which was honestly so fun. Everything was so good that half of us ended up ordering a second roll lol. I attended The Orlando House Music Party Vol. 27 this Saturday as a customer at your venue. While there, I ordered sushi at the bar. Unfortunately, my experience with both the service and how my concerns were handled was very disappointing. I observed the bartender spending most of her time serving certain patrons while several women, including myself, waited an extended period to be helped. I only received service because I was seated directly at the bar. Even then, after placing my order, I waited more than 25 minutes for my food. When it finally arrived, the sushi did not meet expectations for the price point and seemed to be of low quality. The situation became more concerning when I realized I had never been given a receipt. After requesting it, I noticed that I had been charged for items I did not order. When I brought this to the bartender's attention, she stated that she had given me a "free drink," implying that this justified the additional charges. I explained that I simply wanted to be refunded for anything I did not order and charged correctly for what I actually received. Instead of resolving the issue, the bartender became visibly upset and began speaking to me in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. At that point, I asked to speak with the manager. When he arrived, I explained that I had been charged incorrectly and that the bartender had been verbally disrespectful toward me. Unfortunately, his response was dismissive, and he did not offer a solution or attempt to address the situation in a constructive way. As a customer, this experience was upsetting. I came to enjoy the event and support the venue, but instead I left feeling disrespected and that my concerns were not taken seriously. A simple resolution correcting the bill and addressing the behavior would have gone a long way. I also want to mention that the overall service throughout the evening appeared very slow. I observed several other women waiting a long time to be assisted as well. In the service industry, professionalism and respect toward patrons are essential. I ultimately informed the manager that I would not be returning to the establishment. Unfortunately, there was no effort made to resolve the situation before I left. It's especially disappointing because the house music community is known for being welcoming and positive. Events like this bring people together, and it would be great to see venues reflect those same values in how customers are treated. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future guests do not have a similar experience. But it seemed from the experience I had, your management doesn't care how customers are treated by this female bartender. read more

I had been eyeing this place for a while since some local DJs I follow play here and the place interested me. So one day spontaneously decided to stop by and Im so glad I did. The vibes are so chill and laid back yet everyone was having a great time. Decided to go for some sushi and we asked the chef to surprise us and he brought out his off the menu "godzilla" roll and let me tell you, I had 0 to none expectations and yet this blew my mind. Its was delicious and perfectly crafted to the pefect bite size. Im totally looking forward to my next visit. This is a total hidden gem. read more

The chef Rahul comes from a catering background and he's creations are so unique. Flavorful and delicious. We had the honor to try the all inclusive roll. Pretty much. This place is a scam! I felt discriminated against! When I walked in, I waited for the female bartender to take my order. She seemed to be in a bad mood and clearly brought her personal attitude to work. Instead of letting me order, she told me I had to pay before ordering. I was confused, and before I could even respond, she walked away without taking my order. Later, a manager came to take my order, but again insisted I pay first--before I even knew what the total was. No one showed me the amount I was being charged, there was no receipt, no signature, and no confirmation of a tip. I later found out they charged me $58, even though the food only cost $35--they added a $23 tip without my consent! I've never experienced anything like this. I noticed other customers were allowed to pay after their meal. So why was I forced to pay first? Was it because I'm Asian? On top of all that, their sushi rolls were honestly terrible. Worst I've had. This place is shady, disrespectful, and the service was awful. Never coming back again. Absolute scam. read more

Consistently presents a wide range of sounds from live music, electronic (house/techno/dnb/breaks), local art & collectives on an incredible 4-point sound system. Offers sushi menu that changes over time and the staff is what my generation would call... "a vibe" - come with the love and the energy and get it right back all day all night. Visited on a Wednesday around 7 pm and it was sushi night. I was surprised that we were the only ones in the entire place. The music was playing at a great level so we could easily have a conversation. We did have a little difficulty finding a drink to our liking. The bartender was super nice and super helpful but it seemed they had a more limited selection of beverages than I personally am used to. No dark beers, stout or Belgians. So decided to try spirits but no flavored rums or gins and they did not have Disarrono either. We did end up finding some basic and the price was more than fair. I guess if you are just looking to have a drink and chill (local bar vibes) then this place would be for you. read more

This place is cool as hell! I did not go for a sushi night but more like a dancing night. A sweet house DJ was playing so we drove from St Pete to see him. The place itself has a great vibe with a small dancefloor. The bar is in the middle with cool clouds as lighting. There are some sitting areas for those that want to chill and probably eat. The service at the bar was not good. One bartender literally was like a deer with headlights. She looked right at you but completely ignored you, even when no one was there. The other bartender, was not paying that much attention, but when she did notice she was courteous and got us our drinks. I did ask what beer they had on tap, she brought a list and then proceeded to tell me half the list is out, she was not sure which, so I just went for a can. The sound system was really good, the space small yet cool. There were only 3 bathroom stalls which means we waited a bit to get in there, but it went kind of quick. People were really nice. There was live music, though the bartender could not tell me the schedule for these events. I am guessing you should go every night to find out. It was still in their soft opening.. Great new space in the Milk District! We came here for the soft opening, it was decorated nice for the holiday with a large tree and a cool snowflake light. There was some cool pieces of art on the wall, including a Britney Spears throwback skateboard. The bar itself has a lot of space and there's a good dance floor area. We went on a Friday night and they had djs playing some throwback tunes. The bartender greeted us shortly after sitting down, I asked for a drink menu but since it's still a soft opening they didn't have one yet but they have a full bar. I ended up just going with an Ace Cider which was pretty good if you're in the mood for it. They also have some pizza options for food if you're hungry This place will definitely be my hang out when I come for Tasty Tuesdays, roomy clean bar with hightops seating areas. read more

Cool bar with basic drinks and occasional live music. I've been twice now, during Tuesday night tasty takeover food trucks. It's a nice place to sit, eat and grab a drink. We were instantly greeted by the bartender and every one that came in after was given service within a minute of arriving, it was insane! Good vibe, music played at just the right volume, nice beer selection, and the food! The food was so out of this world delicious! I stumbled upon this place when I was at the food truck event on Tuesday. Loved the decor, vibe, and atmosphere, but they need some work on their beer and drink selection which is expensive and very limited. One drink is 9-10 bucks which compared to the other bars next door is outrageous. Bartenders were friendly but a bit spacey and not knowledgeable about their items.
