I came here for dinner and had a very good meal. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. I had the deviled eggs and steak, both of which were delicious. Outpost has an awesome drink menu with daily specials and events, lots of TV's and indoor/outdoor seating. Definitely worth swinging by!

First off location, chefs kiss. We loved being so close to lake eola and being able to see it from our outdoor seat. The music was top notch, another happy experience. Service, provided by Austin, was very attentive. We ordered 5 Basic B burgers but customized along with a few cocktails and hush puppies. Austin shared that everything is made from scratch and I can say that my sweet potato fries were my favorite item I ate. My burger sadly was overcooked, edible, but overcooked. I asked for it medium and it came out well done, since I was starving I didn't mess with asking for another.

How am I just trying this place today?! Stopped in with my best friend for lunch today and it did not disappoint. The menu is a modern take on southern comfort food with unique options and huge servings. Mondays are martini Monday and we tried the key lime and espresso martinis. Delicious. For lunch we shared the crispy collard chips and then she had the fried bologna sandwich that came with pimento cheese. I had the collard green and smoked meat pie and we shared the loaded yucca fries. Every bite was outstanding. Our bartender/ server was super friendly, knowledgeable and had great recommendations. The space is big, open and clean. The outdoor space is really big and we'll definitely be back when we can enjoy sitting out there. Overall a great experience.

Okay Outpost Neighborhood Tavern, love what you have done with the place. You took Persimmon Hollow and turned it into a work of art: part sports bar, part eatery, with a full bar and still a great selection of craft beer. Our server was Evan and he was great. Sat at the bar, ordered a beer and collard crunch which is deep fried collard greens tossed with Cajun seasoning and and a dash of pepper vinegar. If you like the taste of collards, this one is a definite winner. And the collards are just like chips. Very good. Also had the pickle patch. Love this take on fried pickles. So very tasty. Good food, great decor, great service. Everything that you might want in an upscale watering hole. And most of all, the prices are reasonable.

This has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat and drink at in Orlando! This southern-style eatery has TONS of flavorful options on their menu. Everything I've tried has been delicious - the Mac&cheese, chicken sando, whipped feta... it's all delish! The only thing I want a fan of were the wings, but seriously everything else is incredible. Now the drinks?! Top notch. They really put a lot of effort into curating their cocktail menu! Completely underrated in my humble opinion Make sure you stop in!!

Best drag brunch in Orlando! I love their all inclusive setup - you get a small fruit salad and plate of cinnamon rolls for your table, then each person picks their own entree and drinks. You were able to mix and match half-portions of the entrees so you could try a bit of everything. Drink orders came out quick and they were generous with the pours! All the staff was amazing and you could tell they loved their jobs and the environment. Our server was an absolute rockstar managing tables, drink orders, and shooting photos of the performances! And of course the queens performing were amazing- some of the best drag I've seen in Orlando and they stayed for pictures afterwards. The DJ, hostess, and owner all came and checked on our table to make sure we were having a good time. Overall, a really wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning and I can't wait to come back!

    Martini Mondays deals

Came to check out the all day long Martini Mondays: $5 House martini - vodka or gin $8 specialty martini - 4 listed on the menu: the filthy OG, Espresso, Brat-tini and key lime $15 for 2 house martinis plus any app $3 off all apps Sat ourselves at the best spot at the whole establishment - comfy outdoor cushions by the fireplace, in front of the holiday light decors, across from Eola Lake. Table was dirty and server sprayed cleaner directly on the table with our opened waters to catch chemicals into them but got martinis anyways so skipped on the water Had the Cajun shrimp skillet, asked for no sausage and was told it couldn't be taken out but looked like it was thrown in and could have been omitted. It was easy to take out since it was in huge chunks. Shrimp was a lil on the salty side but cooked well and tasty. The veges underneath was not as salty so it was good when combining a bite with all the elements together. Also tried the deviled eggs, again picked out the bacon on top. The eggs had that rubberized texture since it was cooked a while ago then refrigerated. I'd get the shrimp again but not the eggs Tried all the martinis, except the Filthy OG one. Tried to make the house martini dirty but was told it would have to be at the speciality price and not as the house martini price. The glasses were on the smaller side and not as full either so the drinks went down fast within a few slurps. The espresso with the Borghetti espresso liquer was delish and the key lime was superb with the vanilla syrup and the Brat-tini was enjoyable with the Laird's Jersey Lightning brandy which also looks super festive and matched the Xmas theme all around Bathroom had fun framed portraits of amazing athletes and local drag stars in a rainbow lineup. Thought that was a well thought out decor. No public bathrooms for non-customers They have drag brunch on Sundays 11a-2p, priced at $60 or $75. That could be fun to check out on day

There is an old adage in real estate that says: location, location, location. Outpost enjoys a privileged spot right in the corner of Lake Eola. We find the place to be fun and spacious and there is always a cool, inclusive vibe. We have enjoyed seating both inside and outside, for 2 distinctly different experiences. But in the end, a good time was had by all. We are looking forward to coming back for brunch, the buzz around town is that, this is the place to be at.

My friend and I are always on the lookout for new places to try when we get together for dinner, so we thought that Outpost would be the perfect new spot to try. Located in downtown Orlando with Lake Eola as a backdrop, Outpost is a stand-alone restaurant and bar located in a space that previously housed Persimmon Hollow Brewing and a Panera Bread before that. Ambiance is friendly with minimal decor, allowing the surrounding beautiful Lake Eola to be showcased. There are numerous TV screens and Orlando sports placards, making for a great spot to watch the latest game. Our server was great - amazing attitude and very knowledgeable about the menu! My friend ordered the fried bologna and grilled cheese sandwich. It was huge and looked and smelled delicious! My friend said that it indeed was delicious! As for me, I ordered the fried chicken salad. It was a large portion with fresh veggies and other fun toppings (crispy black-eyed peas( and delicious fried chicken on top. I made a mess of my surroundings as I dug into the entree, but it was really good! I definitely want to come back - especially for the drag brunch!

    Espresso martini

Stopped in just to grab a drink since we were in the area and already had dinner. We were looking for an espresso martini and they had one on the menu. We stopped in and were greeted as we walked in. We said we just wanted to sit at the bar and able to find a place easily. The bartender dropped the menus off and gave us time to review. We knew what we wanted so ordered pretty quickly. The drinks were brought out and it was a bit disappointing that the martini was only about half a glass for the price. We did finish our drinks and sat there for about 5 minutes trying to get one of the bartenders attention to order another drink (a beer they had on tap we wanted to try), but was unsuccessful so we opted to finally just get our check (about 7-10 minutes later) and head out for the evening. Again we already ate dinner so didn't try any of the food. If we get back in the area may stop in to try some of the food options, but don't think I would order the martini again for the serving size and price. The location was clean and had a few TVs around so could be good to stop in for an event and some drinks.

This was my first time back here since the brewery closed, and I ended up here by chance after a change of plans. The space itself is really nice very spacious with plenty of seating both inside and outside, plus clean bathrooms. We ordered the Cuban Burger, wings, sweet potato fries, beer and an espresso martini. Drinks: The beers were fine, but the standout was definitely the espresso martini--absolutely delicious and something I'd highly recommend. Food: The food, unfortunately, didn't hit the same mark. The wings weren't my style; they came as the full wing (drum, flat, and tip) and tasted mostly like plain chicken tossed in honey. The Cuban Burger was salty, greasy, and more of a "hangover guilty-pleasure" type of meal. The concept a Cuban sandwich with a burger patty sounded good, but the pork was too salty, and I couldn't taste the cheese at all (if it even had any). I didn't hate it but I wouldn't order it again. The surprise favorite? The sweet potato fries! Perfectly done, and easily the highlight of the meal. Service: This is where the place truly won me over. The staff were absolutely incredible attentive, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Honestly, it felt like I was on Disney property. Overall: I wouldn't come back for a meal, but I would return for the drinks, sweet potato fries, and especially the amazing staff.

It's about time we have another spot that is for, and run by, the LGBTQ+ community!! We have so little in Orlando, compared to other cities, with a large Queer community. I'm excited we have one more place to see and meet and hang out with LGBTQ+ and allies, and feel at home and safe. The staff here is super friendly and welcoming. The drinks are awesome, and the food is delicious. And if you're into Sportsball they have that too!! We Love it here!!

Cautionary Tale for Night Owls in Downtown Orlando If you're…read moreconsidering a night out in Downtown Orlando, think twice. After enduring an hour-long wait just to get in and paying a cover charge, I was escorted out by Mclovin' himself for allegedly being "too intoxicated." The only thing I'd have done since entering was consume no alcohol (or substances for that matter) and NOT join the orgy in the bathroom everyone was cuck watching so I stepped around a crowd to avoid any problems. Ironically, it was security's own idea to review the surveillance cameras. I was more than happy to have them do so because I knew the footage would show I hadn't been acting aggressively, causing a disturbance, or doing anything that justified being thrown out. Despite that, I was removed by Austin powers himself while they kept my cover charge totaling 3 minutes in the building. The entire experience felt arbitrary and unprofessional, and un-inclusive for a gay bar nonetheless. I paid to enjoy a night out with friends, only to be removed without a legitimate explanation. To make matters worse, this venue's reputation has been further tarnished by the former owner's guilty plea in federal court to child sex offenses involving coercion and enticement of a minor. That history makes it difficult for me to support this establishment. And i most certainly will not be returning. And highlights who they employ and look for in their employees... Downtown Orlando's nightlife has become increasingly disappointing, with inconsistent treatment of patrons and venues that don't inspire confidence. If you're looking for a fun and welcoming night out, I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere or at least save for the one venue they care, EDC, where government officials will bootlick so they can grant the festival's request like the most magical place in Orlando, Fl; while effectively closing down every other venue for nightlife in the city. Crime not accounted for. Save your time and money and find a venue that treats its customers with respect and has a reputation you can feel good about supporting. Orlando has turned into a shit hole and NYC and (obviously other much better places) are great to visit when you don't have Austin powers saying you're too intoxicated directly after taking your cover charge (leaving your wristband though) and shoving you out the door. I offered a breathalyzer and sobriety test as there was a cop 30 feet away who could professionally assess my condition but they would rather "check the cameras" a few days later. If you look like mini me and show hole, Dr evil will gladly hook you up no problem ! Enjoy the exploitation of children that are clearly used to vilify our community.
