I could have sworn I wrote a review when I came for the first time back in feb 2021 but guess not! Love this place. Great beer selection and amazing food. They have a large outdoor area. When we came in February, it was raining but the large tent kept us dry. Now we are roadtripping from Seattle to Ohio and had to make a stop here for dinner on our first day. Now it's august and the patio is where it's at!! It's dog friendly... we saw several cute pups out there tonight. I came back specifically craving the bahn mi burrito. Never heard of this on a menu before but I had it in February and have thought about it several times since. We ordered that again tonight, the steak and eggs pizza special, and beet salad. Beet salad was wonderful. Good amount of beets, topped with arugula, goat cheese, candied nuts, blackberries. Perfect for summer. The bahn mi burrito... this is where the story gets interesting. My husband and I cut it in half and my half just so happened to have a long hair in there that I discovered after only one or two bites. We took it in and they were extremely apologetic. We were getting full so I did not ask for them to remake. I was just bummed bc this is my favorite burrito ever. Went on to eat the steak and egg pizza which was good, not great. Feel like it was missing something. Maybe some acid? But then... our server/bartender literally came back out and bought us a beer and brought a to-go box of the bahn mi. I mean... 6 out of 5 for service. Very rarely can you find a hair in your food and still feel like the place is deserving of 5 stars but this is one of them. Hey shit happens but it's all about how you react. And they went above and beyond. For drinks I had hazy strawberry tieton cider which was yummy. On the drier side for a fruity cider. Maybe a semi-dry. Husband ordered the pils. Highly recommend it here and definitely try their bahn mi burrito (or bahn mi pizza which I have not had but, has to be good if anything like the burrito). Holy crap, where were places like this when I lived in Spokane? All we had was Northern Lights Brewing (now "No-Li") and we were grateful! I know it's very cliche-bougie-foodie-"shared work space"-white-people of me to say this but: it's a really nice space. Seriously, the building is awesome. Converted brick building in a part of Spokane that doesn't have much of anything but car dealerships. It's also right next to the interstate so you can get in-and-out if you're on the road. I had the Head Butt IPA, both the Dry Fly barrel-aged and classic formulations, very good. I had a garbanzo pita..it was OK. I added chicken and there wasn't much in there. Side salad was great though. My dining/drinking mates had a sampling of the food here and it was tasty and surprisingly affordable. (maybe I'm just used to jacked Alaska prices though?) Next time I'm driving through Spoklahoma, I'll definitely be stopping back in! read more

Food was OK. Sandwich was decent and green goat bowl was OK. The beers really need some work. I wouldn't release the Bob's Your Uncle Barrel Aged Porter. Straight up booze flavor, nothing else, and not in a good way. This beer should either be blended with the regular beer or not released. Minnehaha was not hazy, and none of the juicy characteristics you would expect. Hazer Quest same thing. Only redeeming beers were the Saisons, and they were not spectacular. Service was average, and the space is nice. Easy to find location in downtown and easy to find parking around there. read more

My husband had the steak burrito bowl that he said was good and I had a chicken quesadilla that came with a to-die-for chipotle aioli. It was tasty but flavor maybe not fully represented on the whole pizza. Also ordered a pretzel which was a bit heavy....I think the dough didn't get a chance to rise. Overall atmosphere was casual. It was my first time in Spokane and I decided to stop here for their beer flights. I was not disappointed! If you're also visiting, I'd definitely make the stop out here even though it felt like the outskirt of downtown, its well worth the walk. They do flights of 6 4oz pours.. I'm used to 4 different options, so I was very excited to be able to try 6 different selections. The selection is great, with a large variety of IPAs and stouts, and the service was just as awesome. I didn't realize the chai kombucha would be so sweet, and they were kind and let me switch out the Kombucha for another stout. The beers were great, the mushroom pizza was delicious, the castelvetrano olives were AMAZING, and the employees were cool. The only super annoying thing was the sound. There are no sound panels to absorb sound, so the dude playing folk guitar covers loud as hell PLUS a completely full restaurant had sound bouncing off the open ceiling and brick walls to make our group fight to hear one another talk the entire time we were there. My brother in law and I went here on December 23 at night to grab a beer. We walked in and the space was cute and cozy. There was a band playing holiday music that was awesome! They were really really good! I ordered a flight of different beers and enjoy trying them. I especially enjoyed the sour beer I had. The stout that I was hoping to love I did not. I tried one of the partner beers that was a cider which was amazing. The bartender was nice and the service was very good. The pizza looked delicious, However, we had just eaten dinner so we didn't order any pizza. I also wanted to order a pretzel but my belly was full of beer. We are new to the area. I joined a group that highly recommend this place. My boyfriend is in the military. The signs asked us to wear a mask if not at table. We complied. My boyfriend leaned over our table to read the neon sign for the specials. Someone behind the bar said "Mask". This made him very uncomfortable. My boyfriend is such a rule follower and would have put his mask on his he thought he was not complying to the rules. This made him very uncomfortable. Did we try food... no. Did we enjoy our beers before...yes. But he was done. I am sad because I joined a group on fb group that apparently this restaurant has a lot of pull and was blocked from because of my opinion. I have been here a couple times and they have a great variety of brews available. I love ciders so it was nice to be able to go the a brewery that actually had ciders on tap. I tried the cranberry cider and it was delicious . The atmosphere is great for both small and large groups. They have plenty of board game and old favorites like Connect Four to play while you drink some beers or why you wait for your food. Food: They offer only a handful of pizzas and I have tried the meat pizza and the mushroom pizza. If I do return to Iron Goat I think I will try something other than the pizza because it was a bit too greasy and soggy. Service: my little sister asked the server if they had ranch ( because she likes it with her pizza crush ) and he was surprisingly rude about the fact that they did not have ranch. This place always has amazing food. If you want a brewery with FOOD, this is your place. The food is probably my favorite part of the brewery. Their beers are good too, but I get more excited for their food menu. They were out of their IPA and only had one on tap which was disappointing for me. They had three sours which were great. I wasn't a huge fan of their pale ale or stout. (I'm not much of a stout person anyways). They didn't seem to have as big of a beer selection as they did the last time I was here. A lot of the spots empty on the beer board. My biggest complaint with this place is it's atmosphere. It's generally pretty loud. Maybe because of the building itself, but it doesn't have a comfortable feel to it. There were only two other groups of people but the talking seems to be amplified and was a little much for me. It's basically just a warehouse with a concrete floor and picnic tables. It feels like an outdoor picnic in the park. Which really isn't my thing personally. But that's a personal preference. I do like this brewery. The location is a decent walk from most places downtown. There is only street parking nearby. read more

Honestly this is such a cool spot. The vibrancy in the place when you walk in is awesome. The First Friday art right now is on point and I love seeing the community in involvement with all that. The selection is incredible. Long family style wood tables, awesome beer and tastings, and good friends...all the things we love. The location is great too and there are always people hustling and bustling with booze and brews and really good food too. The flights come in selection of six and all were fantastic. I had the pizza special which had bechamel sauce, mushrooms and bacon and it was delicious.
