Holiday Inn Express Boonville - Nice room

The hotel is being renovated and the 3rd floor is currently closed for renovations. They have signs posted apologizing for extra noise between 8a and 6p - no water from 11a to 3p. They never mentioned the renovations when we made our reservation. Our room obviously hasn't been renovated yet. The chair cushion was badly stained. The bath mat was damp - appeared to be clean but maybe wasn't in the dryer long enough. Cable for the TV was stretched across the ceiling (looks like a temporary fix). And, when we checked in, the guy at the desk told us the TV in our room was a little quirky and that we should call him if we couldn't get it to work. No sweat - we weren't planning to watch TV. Expected a bit more for $200 a night.

Stayed here on a Thursday night during a road trip. It's decent but the fan/ heating & cooling…read moresystem is so loud and runs all night -- no AUTO setting to run as needed. Also makes the room extremely dry, so don't forget chapstick! Their bathroom has decent body lotion which I had to use alot of. Nice to see they're using refillable soap/shampoo/conditioner/lotion bottles instead of travel size disposables. Bed was ok for 1 night. Bathroom needs more than just 2 tiny nubs on the back of the door to hang anything -- 2 towels could barely hang there, and no place to put clothing except on floor or wet counter. For more than 1 person in the room needing privacy, this makes changing more challenging. Breakfast was mediocre. Scrambled eggs had run out by the time we arrived just after 8:30 AM -- since they don't close until 9:30 AM they should've been refilling. The pork sausage sticks casing was tough; I didn't try the turkey sausage patty but son did and said it was just ok. Make your own pancakes were bleh. Highlight of hot food was Cinnamon rolls. Orange Juice seemed diluted, or just low quality. Boiled eggs in fridge were poorly peeled (missing white parts). Raisin bran cereal was a bit stale -- probably not a lot of people take it so it has been sitting around too long. Glad we booked on Priceline for a low rate.

Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites is in a great location in Warrensburg, right off main highway…read more Since we were here for a wedding nearby, we had many family members stay here. We were able to hang out downstairs in the breakfast area that evening. It was nice to be able to catch up and watch for other family members to show up. I love the decor of the lobby and the staff were pretty helpful and friendly. There's a bowl of apples and water available when you check in. They have a small fitness center that has a refillable water station. This place has an indoor pool and jacuzzi (separate areas). They only had 2 Queens available instead of a King but that was okay. The room and hotel common areas were clean. The air conditioner works great. Water pressure was good and it got hot fast. Our room had a small refrigerator and microwave. It had a desk, full length mirror and luggage shelf. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was good. They have scrambled eggs, omelettes and hard boiled eggs. The oatmeal had 11 different toppings (the most I've seen at any hotel we've stayed at). Other offerings: biscuits and gravy. Bagels, bread and English muffins to toast. Mini muffins, bananas, yogurt, milk, orange juice and apple juice. Waffle station. The only thing they didn't have was sausage or bacon. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed 1 night while relocating cross country…read more Pros: * Beautifully clean rooms. * Incredibly comfy bed with tons of pillows. * Lovely front desk staff. * I wasn't prepared (& frankly too tired after a very long day of driving in the rain), but they have an indoor pool & fitness center. Nice to see that some guests used them. * In-shower shampoo/conditioner & body lotion on wall next to sink. * M/W, fridge (although mine wasn't very cool & might need service), small coffee pot with a couple of coffees. * Breakfast from 6:30-9:30am on the weekend. It was very good... sausage links, egg patty, biscuits & gravy. Some cereal, waffle iron & a few carbs... bread, bagels. No fruit. Unsure if they had coffee... I didn't see drinks, but I carry my own espresso maker, so I don't usually imbibe. * Lots of TV channels including HBO & sports. Unfortunately, not many news channels or a weather channel. * Fast elevator. Yes, it matters if you travel as much as me. Cons: * Same as with any hotel since Covid, price... $175. That's a lot. * Not really a con but there's not much here... a KFC & Casey's. * Wifi's a bit tricky to connect to. Solid 4.5-5* out of 5. You won't regret it if you stay.

Not well managed…read more First I recognize there are few options in the area but this hotel is being run into the ground. I'll try not to comment on the clientele because that isn't under the complete control of the hotel, but let's just say it was rowdy and loud. Due to availability we needed to stay in 2 rooms. One room was on the first floor. The entire ground floor smells like they must had had a flood and it is now mildewy and moldy. The conference room even had floor fans going so I'd say that's a good guess. The workout room is itty bitty which is fine, but the treadmill wouldn't turn on and maybe I'm glad because the mildew smell and humidity in there was probably not good for breathing. The next room was better smelling albeit still slightly damp and smelly. But we had fewer towels than people and they couldn't provide any more towels to us because they didn't have any. They did offer to wash the two towels that we had and we'd get them back in over an hour. Seriously? That's just unacceptable and poor management of a hotel.

The maintenance/cleaning staff looked to have been part time carnival workers. The front desk staff not much better. They lacked in customer service skills at check-in and check-out. Poor mattress and pillows. Had I known all of this about the Sadalia location....I'd saved the $270 and stayed in my son's college dorm.....

Was just super fantastic. She even gave my daughters compliments and candy. I couldn't have asked for a better start to the day! We were here for 1 night. The hotel was easy to find and seemed very secure and safe. The place was clean as was our room. Only knock on the whole stay was ice machine only available on the 4th floor. This Hotel might make it to where it would be hard to stay anywhere else! The area is definitely attractive. (Restaurants, shopping ease of getting on the highway) Thank you for being available to experience a successful vacation. This will be our hotel - Unless the girls want an outdoor pool Questions or anything else.. Let m know. Respectfully, Bryan Oklahoma City
