I found the reservation on Expedia, and it was very affordable. Went to their website and learned it is the hotel where NASCAR was created/rules laid out etc. Also, it is a very convenient location. And it has a rooftop bar so we thought it would be great to watch the fireworks from there (4th of July weekend.) There is a pool but we didn't use it. The beach is across the street. Check in was smooth, room is nice and clean, beds comfy. Another group (Beach Brothers) runs the food and bev and bars and they do an excellent job. All of the staff was super nice and helpful. Drinks are affordable and good and the food is also delicious and not outrageously priced. I would say it was the best food we had on our trip over here. The rooftop bar is really the place to be. It was absolutely clutch for the 4th. There was a nice breeze every night as well. Also, if you are cool they will tell you about the hidden bar, which has a different vibe and fancier drinks. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you come to Daytona.
